Dave (@mad_hominem) reported@GarminFitness @Spotify having to suddenly spend 15 minutes reauthorising my music when I want to run on my lunch break is a seriously poor UX. Please sort this out.

Josh Lane (@joshlane34) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness A UX recommendation for your watches. If I forget to save my sleep activity in the morning before heading out on my run, my watch spends my whole run asking me if I want to save my sleep activity or dismiss the notification. It takes over my running display so none of my running data is readable. If I dismiss the notification, it takes me back to my normal watch face and I need to click multiple times to get back into my activity. And, within a minute or two the notification comes back anyway and the cycle repeats. If I click save, it almost always takes longer than my run to actually save the activity. My screen is frozen with "Saving" and the circling green indicator around the edges. I am unable to see my running data panels. I'm unable to pause a run, hit a lap timer, anything. It's just stuck on Saving. Today, it gave me "Saving" for the last 3 miles of my run, for the 10 minutes I spent cooling down and drinking water, and now still for the time it's taken me to write this suggestion. Basically, if I forget to save my sleep activity, and ensure that I've full dismissed the sleep activity, before my run then my watch is unusable. I assume these are both bugs. If so, please add them to your list to fix if they're not already there. If they're not bugs and they're intended workflow, I have a few suggestions. 1. Dismissing the notification should dismiss it until after the current in-progress activity ends. 2. Dismissing the notification should take you back to the current in-progress activity. 3. Click "Save Activity" shouldn't cause the watch to lock up for an excessive amount of time. It should either save in the background if it takes a while, or save faster. Or, if neither of those is possible, it shouldn't be an option at all until after the current activity ends. 4. Prompt to save the previous unsaved activity once, before the new activity starts. 5. If none of the above are impossible, just suppress the whole interaction until there are no other in-progress activities. Thanks!

Marc J. Randazza ๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ท (@marcorandazza) reported@Apple - my Apple Watch **** the bed and youโre gonna take a week to get it back to me? Guess that gives me a week to try out a @GarminFitness watch and see if Iโm ready to swap ecosystems.
-
acdaisy (@acdaisy_) reported@GarminFitness @Garmin I have a newer (June 25) device that the heart rate tracking does not consistently work. I reach out to support and I get the run around each time and still have a device that doesn't consistently work. Is there anyone that can help?

Johann Philipp Steger (@steger_johann) reported@SixPointerGuy @Garmin @GarminFitness Same Problem with my 1040 Solar. Used to upload activities after pushing stop button.
-
Wrecky Carmichael (@KewellBeans) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness your service rep, Sarah, who assisted me today with my Garmin Connect coaching plan issue was phenomenal! Give that girl a raise!
-
CT (@CarlJTaylor23) reported@GarminUK @GarminFitness - disappointed that my Forerunner 965 has broken after less than 3 years and the option is to buy a refurbished device at a price of ยฃ155. I expect a ยฃ600 watch to last longer than it has, especially as itโs not worn all day / everyday.

Deep General Research Institute (@DGR_Institute) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness I just bought and tested your new 2026 Garmin D2 Mach 2 Pro: I have used an Apple Watch Ultra One since release, as comparison (half the price of your watch): The build quality of your product is so hilariously bad that after one hour of testing, I decided to send it back and request a refund. Absolute China Trash. The display resolution and quality (yes I removed the display sticker lol) looks like from 2008 and the case makes noise like a kids toy. Itโs heavy and bumpy too. Even the satellite emergency function, that you charge ten euros per month for, I get at Apple for free of charge. I will never buy anything from Garmin again. Worst company ever.

murph (@BostonLooper) reportedApple Watch SE is officially in the trash - died ~60% of the way through a half marathon yesterday, @GarminFitness here I come
-
Oceanman (@Kaidansei) reportedI do most of my work indoors and on treadmills, peloton, fan bikes, or in the pool. Apparently the watch isn't good with those exercises and needs outdoor runs. Ok, fine, but it shouldn't do calculations then or display results if that data isn't available. Or fix it to use other pertinent information like Grok, Claude, Gemini and others do! @grok does this mesh with other users of the device? Is there anything @apple can do to fix it? Do devices like @GarminFitness have this issue?
-
Amy Hainsworth (@amyhainsworth) reportedHeyo @GarminFitness is anyone working your support phone lines today? Iโve been on hold for 52 minutes for an issue with a Decent, much longer than the 13 minute estimate.

Sissikiwi1 (@Sissikiwi1) reported@GarminFitness I have now had a Garmin Venu Sq for a year and it is the worst fitness tracker I have ever had. Now it wonโt even pair with my new phone, and for pairing I had to remove it from the old phone. So no stats anywhere now. Never correct anyway LOL Garmin rubbish!
-
Sunil Kumar (@sunilkumar8mile) reported@GarminFitness Thanks team for your response and the workaround. However now the issue got resolved and data is syncing into TrainingPeaks.

Vahid (@vahidlazio) reported@Stolen_Kishka @Garmin is that a garmin that security forces in Iran are using? Are they using your tactical watches to shoot at people? They are snipers. They shot many iranian peaceful protesters. Is your ballistic feature working in Iran?! Wtf @GarminFitness
-
Trashatarian (@Trashatarian) reportedAbsolutely do NOT buy a @GarminFitness watch. The charging system is AWFUL. I have a Venu 2S and I'm on my 3rd charging cable in 3 yrs cause the pins keep breaking off. The best they offer is 50% off their garbage charging cable. I'll never buy another until they fix this tech

Benjamin Ponzer (@BPonzer) reported@GarminFitness I spent like 2 hours putting my workouts into your app and now I am doing the 1st one and I can't adjust the weight or reps and your rep counter sucks. How do I fix that???? When I did the generic workout I could adjust reps and weight.
-
J. (Hrebinka) Shanahan ๐บ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ช (@Enceladosaurus) reportedTbh I feel a bit misled by all of the articles claiming the @GarminFitness Forerunner 955 was the best fitness watch ever. I read SO many articles & did research before buying. To end up with something so poorly performing, slow, and buggy? Did we buy the same watch!?

E_A_L_II๐บ๐ฒ (@E_A_L_II) reported@GarminFitness @JohnStraumann Garmin is trash. Nobody should invest in this company
-
Chris Manc (@ChrisManc9) reported@GarminFitness I'm shocked and annoyed that Garmin is trashing up the app that syncs with my venue 2s. I have to scroll down or x it out to see my data. Grrrr. It is getting old but I won't be replacing it with another Garmin device.

-
MrsKillJoy616 (@librarykat) reported@Garmin @GarminFitness Ever since I updated your app a few days ago, my notifications won't consistently send through to my watch. I've had to uninstall and reinstall your app multiple times a day to try to get this basic function to work. I've tried to connect with help over this, but that isn't really working either. I would just like a basic function of my watch to work.
