Google Nest Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BrettHooper63 bretthooper.eth (@BrettHooper63) reported

@googlenesthelp A slight convex or concave added to the button geometry could help solve it or perhaps not having the contrast going to the camera housing but instead focusing on the button.

  • 4MileRunCapital FourMileRun Capital (@4MileRunCapital) reported

@Dyc3r @googlenesthelp “If the status says “Connected - Remove control unavailable,” there may be an issue with the Nest service.” This is taken from your troubleshooting guide. So are having issues with services on your end?

  • RobertPunt75 Robert Punt (@RobertPunt75) reported

@googlenesthelp i need some help with my (already) second 3rd generation nest thermostat. The first one could connect to any wifi network. So the company where i bought it exchange the thermostat. But now the second thermostat gives the same problem. What can i do?

  • dimitarmilo Jimmy Miloseski (@dimitarmilo) reported

The last thing anyone wants to hear when they accidentally activate their voice assistant is some inane or quirky response. They want to hear nothing. Can someone at @googlenest pls fix this?

@googlenest your customer service is terrible! I had my doorbell for 3 years and stopped all of a sudden and being told that 3 years is good! 😳 the conversation cut off, did not bother to call me back! I should have bought @amazon your ring bell is not worth the money!

  • Momo_Essat Mohammad Essat (@Momo_Essat) reported

@googlenesthelp hi hope you are well, we’ve had a problem with our nest thermostat where it’s gone faulty, would you be able to direct me to a contact number where we could get some help please, thanks

  • m_botticelli Marco Botticelli (@m_botticelli) reported

I can’t understand why a company like @Google @googlenesthelp (owner of YouTube) cannot get a reliable streaming of their Nest Cameras (both old and new), especially those stored as part of a very expensive subscription. This is the case on both Nest and Home Apps. Fix it pls.

  • DougLanghorn DougLanghorn (@DougLanghorn) reported

@googlenesthelp my nest thermostat has lost Wi-Fi connection and will not reconnect after resetting it per the online troubleshooting. All other nest devices in the house remain connected properly and internet is working. Please advise how to fix this

  • 4MileRunCapital FourMileRun Capital (@4MileRunCapital) reported

@Dyc3r @googlenesthelp having the same problem since yesterday evening. Sorry to jump on ur thread. Thermostat is working as expected but nest app iOS says thermostat is offline. I can see thermostat is connected to the internet on our router. Nest weave has status connected. Remote control unavailable

  • eleanorphilpott eleanor (@eleanorphilpott) reported

@googlenesthelp my google nest (about 1.5 years old) just won’t turn on (no lights and won’t respond to any voice). It was fine when I last used it a couple of days ago. Please help!

@googlenesthelp @krags74 I’m having the same issue. App just spins when reviewing history. The problem just started happening around the same time. It’s not my network.

  • Rattlehead_ie Rattlehead.ie (@Rattlehead_ie) reported

@googlenesthelp Temp inside ranges 16-21 degrees. Hubs responds saying "something went wrong". Home app just sits there for 10seconds and then times out when I try it that way. I can change the mode from eco/heat/off no issue in the Nest App itself, in Smart things or manually (physically)

  • CallMeJace Jace Christner (@CallMeJace) reported

Last Wednesday I spent an hour on the phone with @googlenest trouble shooting, they emailed requesting info on my device but now everything has stalled. They are supposed to be sending me a shipping label to replace my device. What's the hold up? #googlenest

  • justinshuls uhhhhh (@justinshuls) reported

@googlenesthelp Nest battery cam wired. It has never been good. The google home app is terrible. Nest, a fall from grace

  • s_matte100 Simon Matteson (@s_matte100) reported

@googlenesthelp Yes, three 1st Gen Nest Hubs have displayed the same behavior. The one 2nd Gen Nest Hub I have has not gone offline. The 2nd Gen Nest Hub is also farthest from the router.

  • aiotechnv AIOTech LLC (@aiotechnv) reported

@googlenesthelp I've been having the same issue on my first gen Nest Hub for the past three days. It disconnects numerous times a day and says to check my internet connection. I've had no trouble with any other devices or my internet connection.

  • Dyc3r Mike R (@Dyc3r) reported

@googlenesthelp I saw a number of people online having similar problems who indicated that they fixed it by just connecting the C wire. So, I tried that (and gave the thermostat 24 hours to make sure the low power issue was truly resolved) then I tried reconnecting it to the wifi network.

  • 4MileRunCapital FourMileRun Capital (@4MileRunCapital) reported

@googlenesthelp Along with opening up a guest network for the thermostat only and that didn’t work either. Hopefully this issue doesn’t come back. I now see nest weave show remote control available. Thanks for responding quickly. Have a great day.

  • TerynceB Terynce B (@TerynceB) reported

"We're sorry, something went wrong for @googlenest" is what my Google Homes say when I try to adjust them. Any help @madebygoogle?

  • s_matte100 Simon Matteson (@s_matte100) reported

@googlenesthelp my first gen Nest Hubs have all given me the error message “Check Internet Connection”. I’ve reset router (all other devices connect), unplugged, and reset hubs. Works for a while then gives me the error again. Is this a known issue?

  • BrisDev Craig Phillips (@BrisDev) reported

  • OnlyoneRuscoe Russ Hopkins (@OnlyoneRuscoe) reported

@krags74 @googlenesthelp Im having exactly the same issue. I try and rewind on my IPhone 11 it comes up with a try again later message or just spins attempting to load. Exactly the same when I do it on Desktop Pc too it just won’t play anything

  • ELmattic El Escobar (@ELmattic) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi my google doorbell is giving me issues connecting to wifi. I talked to support already and went through all trouble shooting and it still is not able to find any wifi network. All my other devices are able to connect. Can you help or possibly send me a new one?

  • m_botticelli Marco Botticelli (@m_botticelli) reported
