@googlenest yes actually 🥺👉👈 I'm trying to set up my nest mini and it works up until the last step where i try to connect to my wifi network. the error message is "could not communicate with your best mini" and I've already tried restarting the wifi router and the device itself

@googlenest no, I've set it up before. my nest mini is in my room and the router is downstairs but when I had it set up previously there was no problem. also, i switched network providers recently. i don't know if that has a hand in why I'm getting this error?

@googlenest I thought the original problem was in reference to the Chromecast, which is where I’m having issues. I’ve had seamless streaming instantly from my phone from various apps until now and all of the apps will not recognize it as a device. I’ve unplugged and reset but still errors

@googlenest I have a 1st gen Chromecast and an ultra but neither have google TV on them to do the comparison. I have only had the audio and jitter issue when using Google TV for playback.

@googlenesthelp You have the absolute WORST customer service. I have been trying for weeks to get you to warrantee my faulty nest thermostat, and keep hearing someone will be emailing me in 24 hours. It literally NEVER happens. You've agreed to warrantee it, now deal with it!!

@googlenesthelp Purchased a new Chromecast with Google TV and set it up. I can't control it using my Google Home speaker. when I ask Google to show me action movies on Bedroom TV it says it is doing it but nothing happens. After a few seconds it says something went wrong. Help

@googlenesthelp Sorry for the slow reply. I ended up re-looking at my home’s location in Nest. When I did that, it showed my phone as a blue dot. That must’ve have reset the location, as now it senses as being “here” (home). All working now.

@googlenest Again.. All linked to my Google account. I don't have another phone or tablet with this on it... Looking at Google searches it would suggest this is a fairly common problem with no real definitive fix.. Seem more a Google problem than a user issue.

@googlenest I'll try that. US based, DC to be specific. I'll try resending and relinking, but the fact that it's only happening to the Home assistants tells me it might be an issue with the latest update. It used to do really well handling Spanish artists/songs.
