@googlenesthelp Nest guard went offline at 7:10 PM. I'm seeing lots of other people saying the same thing. Cellular backup not working and basic functions like door chimes and the connected devices all went offline when I rebooted it. Reset wifi successfully - still offline.

@googlenesthelp Unfortunately your recommendation of uninstalling and reinstalling is not the problem or case….you might wanna actually know about technology before giving advice as such as that…..as for Brinks calling was a “PANIC ALARM” signal, not a signal that it’s offline!

@googlenesthelp our nest is not able to connect to wifi. Have tried rebooting nest, my wifi.. but still no luck. All other devices work just fine and are able to connect. Nest is unable to find any networks. Can you please help.

@googlenesthelp It was just saying system error and giving that link. Everything seems to be working properly aside from the motion sensing when I walk up to it. It looks like I just need to install a C wire. Mostly wanted to let you guys know the link given didn't work.

@googlenesthelp Nest guard offline did 2 restarts and update wifi when it looks to.check for an update blue ring spins and then says unable to update try again later. Some of my doors are also showing offline as well.

Ok the time has come to DUMP the @googlenest #NestWiFi as it keeps throttling my speeds to a max of 90Mbps. Not the cables I’m using as tested the same ones hard wired to the port and it’s full gigabit speed. What are the best alternatives? I’m pissed as it's $400 down the drain!

@Google @googlenest @Windows Till yesterday CAST option on my browsers worked perfectly fine on Win10 listing all Chromecast TVs and Google speakers but today morning onwards it says NO DEVICES FOUND. I have googled about this issue but with no luck. Please help me fix the issue

It’s nice that @Google bought @googlenest only to let it stagnate and be plagued with stability issues, as well as refusing to make any improvements like syncing multiple thermostats to optimize their usage between home levels. Two days now of servers being down for hours. 😪

@google @googlenest @windows Found it. My McAfee firewall blocks it but somehow it was fine till yesterday. I have to disable firewall, open browser so that it finds all cast devices, and then enable firewall. Is there a way to allow Cast option on the firewall. Help appreciated
