Hey, @googlenest, when the error code on a non-functioning thermostat provides a URL that leads to the "Do you want to buy a new one?" page, it makes one wonder about your commitment to service.

@googlenesthelp has given me a runaround over a problem that is demonstrably a new (and unnecessary and unwelcome) “feature”: their thermostats can not be set to heat less than 50F. Offended that I wasted my time on useless ritual diagnostic steps.

So I have 5 @googlenest smoke detectors. (Over £500’s worth). I’ve reported an issue. They won’t help because i’m using Duracell batteries and not energiser as they recommend. That’s a pretty poor response, why would a product only work with 1 brand of battery?

Anyone else had a problem with a @googlenest thermostat and @TPLINKHelp Deco system coexisting? Mines been fine for months, and now all of a sudden both have become unstable with no system changes. Nest drops the heatlink, and deco drops the mesh.
