@wplate @googlenesthelp The new cameras are a monstrous step backwards. The 24hr smooth video functionality was why I bought Nest. I’m about to trash every Nest product I have and find something better. Why would they completely screw this up?!

The @googlenest min speaker was frozen with just 2 lights on, was completely unresponsive. couldn’t find this problem documented online anywhere. Glad the multiple restart (11 times!) solution actually worked! /2

@googlenesthelp It has been this way since October last year. Prior to that it did work, the doorbell would not reset after the button pressed. I’ve been sent a new chime connector. I installed that, but it didn’t fix the reset issue. Still resetting when the button is pressed.

@googlenesthelp Absolute garbage product....and the customer service is worse. Every call into support lasts over 45 minutes and accomplishes nothing. DO NOT BUY A GOOGLE NEST!!!!! I should have just trashed it and bought an ecobee

@googlenesthelp I have a nest thermostat that won't connect to wifi. Reset my wifi. Restarted the Nest. Watch videos on line. Still no success. Nest works but not connecting to wifi (even manually). Please help. Thank you.

Anyone else having a hard time playing @KFIam640 on their @googlenest because it keeps thinking you said "KKFI"? Just started like yesterday and its absurd, no matter how slow I say it. I can't figure out how to make it stop happening like 9 out of 10 times. @googlenesthelp

Hey @googlenest be better. How are you going to use a chime connector in your installation and then not make it available to purchase a replacement. Thus telling me my $200 doorbell is useless. Terrible customer service. I will gladly buy part but told that isn’t an option.

@googlenest really putting the screws to you when you try and replace a broken base plate. Itemized receipt/invoice? Three thermostats installed here, and have had similar issues resolved in a fraction of the time...smh

So 1/5 of our @googlenest literally eats batteries - every 3-4 months it needs to be replaced and per the forums, this is a really common issue to which @googlenesthelp does nothing. So warning you all against buying this shoddy product.

@googlenesthelp It’s right down the staircase from the router. There’s nothing like that in between that would cause interference. It’s been connected to the Wi-Fi and worked fine since originally installing it ~6 months ago until last week

@googlenesthelp why wouldn’t you allow the new cameras to connect to the Nest App?! You have to realize that your app lacks functionality compared to Nest. None of my cameras have 24hr smooth playback, it’s event only, and it’s complete trash! Fix this nonsense!

FWIW we have had the @googlenest for about 6 years. Never had an issue. Today both thermostats set themselves to 50-55F in the middle of the night 😡 pretty sure we are getting sick.

@dalmaer @bgalbs @googlenest honestly none of this **** “just works” and that’s why home automation has failed for so long. as uber geeks, if we get frustrated by it, it has no chance. last time i had nest alarms was when all of them went off simultaneously and refused to quiet without a screwdriver.
