  • jrronimo 𝔍𝔞𝔪𝔢𝔰 𝔚𝔯𝔞𝔦𝔱𝔥 🎃 (@jrronimo) reported

@DontBuyNest @googlenest They did replace it, and the replacement works. But of course the 2nd one I have has the same issues... and I got them both for free. It's just not worth it, though I do wish Google would recall them. It's clearly a hardware issue.

@googlenesthelp the led light is blue. it is blink very slow. it is near the router and my phone. so i think it is not the problem of the wifi signal. the nest app just can not access the bluetooth. so it can not go the page of the SSID list.

@googlenest Terrible customer support. I bought Google nest cam 4 just about a month ago before moving and cannot connect to my new wifi. Removed device, deleted device history, factory reset cam, no customer support articles. Nothing works. What a waste of money.

@googlenesthelp Hi! It started just this past week and all system tests show normal. It was lighting up about every 20min last night. I'm hoping its just a glitch and not a ghost! 👻

@googlenesthelp 2 of my Nest Wifi access points keep going offline every couple of days. I see multiple reports of this online. Is there any ETA for a fix? I really don't want to have to spend hundreds to switch to another brand.

  • CaNerdIan The 🇨🇦 Canad-Ian Nerd 🇺🇸 (@CaNerdIan) reported

How in the world has Google managed to turn @googlenest from a great product into the hot garbage it is now?

  • joemfbrown Joe Brown (he/him) (@joemfbrown) reported

The only @googlenest appliance we have left are cameras. Thermostats don’t allow precise control of advanced heat pumps. The smoke detectors have always been trash. Un-silence-able false alarm at 6AM today was the last straw. (Thanks for waking up my kid.)

  • kodachrxme koda (@kodachrxme) reported

@googlenesthelp it gives me a W5 error code and I have tried the steps already

  • joemfbrown Joe Brown (he/him) (@joemfbrown) reported

The only @googlenest appliance we have left are the cameras. Thermostats don’t allow fine-tuned control of advanced heat pumps. The smoke detectors are and always have been garbage. The ultra-loud, un-silence-able false alarm at 6AM today was the last straw.

  • HarleyButtons Ldn_ Button (@HarleyButtons) reported

@googlenesthelp have removed all phone numbers and online chat support…wonder why? My thermostat has broken for the third time, still not getting any help from google

@googlenesthelp my nest thermostat gen 3 showing error not able to find wifi network. I bought it june 2022. I have tried reset network and reset all settings nothing worked. Please help

  • nonumberhandle someonesmom (@nonumberhandle) reported

@googlenesthelp I got it taken care of. We received our replacement yesterday and it works like new. It wasn’t connecting to our wifi which the agent said was a common problem so she sent us a new one.

  • marykslong #beintheconversation with Mary Long, @iGeopardy (@marykslong) reported

@Pytlicek @googlenest Google Nest is terrible honestly: their products don't even connect with wifi. But the concept is there. You could use another infrastructure than they do. Their signals are bad.

  • DontBuyNest Don't Buy Nest Products (@DontBuyNest) reported

@DanShike @googlenest Agreed. Don’t let them fool you. you’ll get the run-around for 6 months and won’t have it resolved. look at all the forums of people with the same issue including us. I suggest we team up for a class action lawsuit #dontbuynest #googlenestsucks #suegooglenest

  • spaced_outshots 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝘽𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙣 (@spaced_outshots) reported

@googlenesthelp volume on my home hub keeps reverting to 26% after being manually changed to another volume. I’ve reset, rebooted, changed settings, etc. How do I fix this?

  • JordanGilroy Jordan Gilroy (@JordanGilroy) reported

@googlenesthelp It’s the nest learning thermo and it’s positioned halfway between the main router and a Wi-Fi point – both of which are nest. It’s been working fine up until now and I’ve had it months. All other products can find and connect to Wi-Fi fine so the thermo is the issue.

  • Creepy_Reality Stefan (@Creepy_Reality) reported
