Jose (@joseyawar87) reported@googlenesthelp My Google Nest 3rd generation won’t connect to my Wi-Fi or sync to my phone. I reset the settings, restarted it, and even changed my router password, but I’m still having the same issue. It powers on but does not connect to the internet.

Domenic (Italian Christmas Donkey) (@WGGPapaDom) reportedAbsolutely love when my @googlenest shits the bed out of nowhere when it’s single degrees outside. Useless support articles are zero help and they haven’t been updated in easily 5 years. Can’t wait to get rid of them.
-
Gavin Melling (@generationgav) reportedLooks like I'll be getting rid of all of my @madebygoogle and @googlenesthelp equipment, as Google Support is about the worst I've dealt with. Being charged double on my Google AI account and being told that nothing can be done, despite it being illegal.
-
ContractBuddyApp (@UseCBApp) reported@googlenest @madebygoogle warnings every night despite "Nightly Promise" being OFF. You have broken my ecosystem. I need a full prorated refund for my 7 units immediately so I can switch to a supported UK brand. #NestProtect

-
JOHNNYJET🇺🇸 (@JOHNNYJET3) reported@brian1222333 @Google @googlenest I second this. It's like they have the interns coding. Very annoyed at how crap and slow the move from nest has been.
-
quad (@djquadrillion) reported@googlenesthelp @looplunchrun The dashboard says everything is fine but users here are reporting outages and on down detector… why is the page saying all is good when it’s clear that isn’t the case?
-
Envelope Gravy (@dubsy54321) reported@brian1222333 @Google @googlenest Yeah the switch essentially killed my nest camera. It's always offline now.
-
Beach Cafe (@BeachCafeNYC) reported@googlenest Please do not buy these Google Nest Cameras. They do not offer live over the phone technical support. If cameras fail you’re out of luck. Terrible Service
-
I didnt vote for him (@BirdChayser) reported@yashar Isn’t this the EXACT thing that AI should be used for? It shouldn’t require a ******* subscription. It SHOULD be monitoring for this kind of **** and alerting authorities. It would be great at it. @googlenest This should be your shining moment but instead you’re too greedy.

Tim Douglas (@awesomedud69) reported@googlenest Hi I have a 3rd generation thermostat that went out of warranty last year. Wifi no longer works on it and apparently it's a known issue. Everything else still works. Called tech support and they tried everything. I assume I'm out of luck on a 3 year old thermostat?
-
TheCesarcade (@TheCesarcade) reportedGoogle’s Nest cameras has to be one of the worst security systems I’ve ever wasted money on. If you’re looking for decent cameras that’ll actually keep a record of footage for you without having to pay a subscription fee then search elsewhere. @googlenest
-
Walt (@WaltIsHereNow) reported@RepMikeCollins @epaleezeldin Good. Please enact Right to Repair legislation - people need to be allowed to fix what they purchased. Electronics depending on online services need to be open-sourced if that online service goes away. @googlenest is currently rendering tens of thousands of WORKING thermostats useless because they are discontinuing service.
-
Rob Williams (@codeslubber) reported@CoffindafferFBI Note on systems thinking and why compute systems are still such garbage: minute those cameras are disabled in a systematic way, 911 needs to be called by the system, for sure she had @googlenest subscription service. Product once again has been demonstrated to be utterly USELESS.

@benignvanilla.bsky.social (@BenignVanilla) reported@zoomyzoomm I did the @googlenest upgrade to #gemini and now it'***** or miss if I can turn the lights on or off. Earlier this week I also discovered "shut the living room off" no longer does just lights, but everything in the room...including the thermostat. Garbage.

UB (@theubeing) reported@googlenesthelp please help me my email account recover please Google
-
Cassandra "Cassy" Coelho R.🪬 (@IDontCareBear1) reportedHey @googlenest, my point keeps going offline randomly. The main router stays fine, but the point drops. Rebooting it every time is getting old. Any idea what’s happening?
-
Area Man (@lheal) reported@CdreMattDecker @googlenest Yeah, except we have fish that don't like to have the air temperature fall below 68. And I'm home, walking past the firking thermostat every few minutes to warm up my coffee. It's a great product technically, but their company zealotry is offensively, aggressively bad.
-
Wayne (@whiskey__wayne) reported@zerohedge @googlenest @Google Dude, you have 2.5 million followers and you posted about this **** publicly, notifying everyone of your activity. Doing everything for clout.
-
Jimmy (@jimmy071125) reported@googlenest After your Gemini update to Google home everything is slow and broken. I ask for the weather and it gives me the weather for New York City. I don’t live in New York City. Asking to play Spotify seems impossible for Gemini. This update is terrible.
-
Robert Chambers (@robbierooms) reported@googlenesthelp @JuliaYetter I’m having a similar issue, please help?

DJF (@FJO1020) reported@pir2h @googlenest Having the same issue @googlenest Second issue in as many weeks!

Kevin (@McNamara_Group) reported@googlenest @madebygoogle Subject: URGENT ESCALATION: $650 Nest Hardware Unusable / Account Locked After Church Vandalism To Google Nest Support / Escalation Team: I am writing to urgently escalate a situation that has rendered $650 worth of brand-new Google Nest cameras completely useless due to an automated account lockout loop. Recently, our local church was vandalized. I have been a loyal Google user for years and personally promised our pastor that Google’s ecosystem was reliable and spectacular. Based on my recommendation, we purchased four new Google Nest cameras to secure the building. Here is the exact timeline of what has happened: I set up a new dedicated Gmail account specifically to manage the church's new security system. I successfully set up all 4 new Nest cameras on that account using my mobile phone. Everything worked perfectly on my device. I then gave the email and password to our pastor so he could log in and monitor the system from his end. Instead of letting him log in, Google’s automated security randomly locked the account and sent an email demanding an explanation for why the account was created. I provided the full explanation, and the account was officially "restored" 2 days later. The Current Issue: Despite the account being restored, the system is STILL blocking any login attempts from the pastor's devices or any computer. It continuously throws an "unrecognized device" error, even with the correct password and recovery information on file. Because of this endless security loop, we cannot hand over the account to the church. Right now, these four cameras are essentially $650 dead sticks. We cannot monitor our recently vandalized church. I understand Google has automated security measures, but I need a human being to look at this account, lift the device lock, and allow us to actually use the hardware we purchased. I need this escalated to someone who can resolve this immediately.

Had Enough (@BobMarshnyc) reported@googlenest my google Nest system isn’t connection to my phone this morning 5/15/26 in NY. Restarted router, phone, and updated app. What’s going on? Online also shows a vast outage.
