@googlenesthelp yeah we totally tried that. we factory-reset everything.. it seems to be a UX issue, quite honestly. The screen doesn't throw an error consistently - its either just goes to a white screen of death.. or it times out and does C102 fails. across all cameras.

@googlenest I need help and I see nothing online that answers my question. I live in an apartment building and my doorbell is inside. When someone rings it, it is so loud echoing through the hallway. Is there a way to adjust the volume?

@googlenesthelp Hi, The issue is yet to be resolved, the thermostat is still not connected to wi-fi. I spoke to Nest support services and we agreed to replace the device but when I took it off the whole heating and hot water shut down. I have had to call out boiler engine to have a look.

@googlenesthelp oh buy a google phone & then it might work? no. we have an iphone & it should work+ be better QA-ed, friends. ok. i'll figure this out, but thanks for ur help. please do better QA. i have had nest since the first one - our house is rigged out & its stressful when its all fails.

@googlenesthelp Yes, thank you for checking. 1. Nest mini keeps saying it isn't set up, even after I've set it up twice. Even though the Home app detects it. 2. Nest Hub has really terrible UX. Nothing you can do at night, past a certain time, to leave the screensaver and show the home screen.

@NexusBen Old @googlenest app is not better, its also shockingly bad. On my pixel 5, by the time someone rings the bell and you get to the live feed and the buffering spinner stops, the person has long gone. Still waiting for custom responses 4 years on. #theydontcare

@Google @googlenest When it was nest, It was wonderful. Now it’s google home it’s terrible. I speak for many other nest users (see chat boards). Cameras still won’t connect and we are tech savvy. Looking for other options. Let me know your thoughts. #googlenest

Personal recommendation; don't buy @googlenest products. I don't know what happened internally but they continue to make terrible decisions in the transition from the Nest app to the Google Home app. Disappointed and moving away from them for any future products.

@googlenesthelp After a solid week, and more than 7 hours with "tech support" transferring me from department to department, I still have no resolution to my problem. Only promises that I'll be reached by email within 24 hours...that was 6 days ago. Shameful waste of time.
