@DokEvilgamer @googlenesthelp I'll just completely replace it with a regular thermostat without any "smart" **** in it. I do use those features but they are not worth this kind of nonsense.

@googlenesthelp the problem started at 6:00 PM. I waited until 8:00 PM and then I was the first to perform a reset. didn't get any notifications either. .that didn't work. then removed it from the app.and performed a factory default reset.that doesn't work either.

@lordvictor @googlenesthelp Lol how this drop the same time as a ton of articles from major news sources talking about how homeownership in the US should yield to renting. That **** gonna come pre-installed in apartments in 15 years. Also why ******** would you ever willingly get that **** to begin with?

@FOX4 @kins__khaleesi It doesn't matter even if you gave ERCOT (TOS) permission. The second that @googlenest feels as though they're going to get blowback, they'll shut that function down. NOW *everyone* with a Nest thermostat in the whole country understands this can happen. #DisconnectNEST

Ridiculous service from @googlenesthelp refusing to investigate potential bugs when my grandfathered subscription was cancelled w/o consent. Clearly this org structure is broken if agents keep handing you off b/w teams, claiming "ur subscription is managed by Google, not by Nest"

@googlenesthelp (1) I have a google nest hello doorbell. He went offline and never came back online. First performed a reset does not work. Factory default does not work. Everything performed but does not come factory default. De-energised and restarted does not work either.

Hi @googlenest or @madebygoogle! Why on earth don't we have a Google Home native app for Chromecast with Google TV? Being able to control my home and use security cameras from the TV seems like a huge missed opportunity. At least fix the Nest app to allow migrated account login.

@virginmedia Then what? Because I’ll need to put it back into modem mode to make my @googlenest function properly.. and it will no doubt happen again... That’s not really resolution. It’s been in modem modem for weeks, why suddenly an issue?

Our @googlenest that was serving as our router died. It was a surprisingly difficult problem to troubleshoot, but we swapped it with another endpoint and are back up to speed with 3/4 of our endpoints. Just angry that I lost several hours in a crucial week to this problem.

@googlenesthelp my google nest thermostat 3rd gen won’t connect to wifi. I’ve reset wifi settings and allowed Nests battery to drain completely and then plug in. It won’t recognize any networks. Could you help?

@googlenesthelp We do have a baby monitor. My confusion is about why the nest shows as connected but the app showing as "error". It's been on error for 16 hours now and won't fix itself until I do a hard restart on the thermostat.

@googlenesthelp Router is within 10 to 15 feet of both devices. No changes in network. Error has occurred on both our living room nest and our bedroom nest multiple times. After restarting, they show accurately in the app.

@googlenesthelp I restarted my router and then restarted the nest thermostat, entered my wifi information again and the thermostat says that it cannot find it. The app says that the it is offline. My Nest door bell and the camera are working fine

Hey @googlenest. I encountered a pretty catastrophic failure mode in my 2nd home. The thermostat failed in a way that it called for both AC cooling and emergency heat at the same time. My electricity bill was 10x the month before! Anything you can do to help?
