Tim Douglas (@awesomedud69) reported@googlenest Hi I have a 3rd generation thermostat that went out of warranty last year. Wifi no longer works on it and apparently it's a known issue. Everything else still works. Called tech support and they tried everything. I assume I'm out of luck on a 3 year old thermostat?

Persistent Login: The app remains active in the background, allowing you to receive notifications and live view camera feeds without re-entering credentials. Either Karen or her dad deleted it.

Since the forced Gemini rollout, basic features (hands-free calls, routines) are broken unless I hand over more data. Safety risks in the car too. I have tried to connect from the device and also connecting via Bluetooth to the app no networks show up. I have reset the nest a couple times also.
