@googlenesthelp and iPhone but it seems that 'my home' on my account for Google Nest is gone of there is a problem with it. If I try to set up with the Google Home app my Nest Aware it says that there is a problem with the cloud. I've connecting with the internet. 2/2

@googlenesthelp @googlenest Multiple clients do experience the other issue, wherein I can ping the main, routing AP, but cannot get DNS from it. But not *all* of the clients have that problem, usually.

@june_bug_june @googlenest My Nest stopped connecting to the internet after 2.5 yrs. The support person said there was nothing they could do to repair it and suggested I could go and buy a new one - no rebate offered! WTF? The one key benefit of this unit is to use it remotely. 😡

@googlenesthelp yep the time is automatically set and the app has permissions. I should clarify that when I get this error usually clicking “try again” 2-3 times resolves things

@googlenest nest audio pair has compatibility issue with @Linksys mx5300 since 1.10 firmware. To fix it just downgrade to 1.9. Maybe more routers are affected.

@googlenesthelp I’ve gotten both connected a few times, but within minutes or hours it’s offline or just doesn’t work. Tried setting up via scan and via codes on unit itself. Nothing works.

Some tips: Buy a @googlenest or similar brand of connected smoke alarm with carbon monoxide detector. Trust me it’s worth it! Leave some windows open in your house if you are leaving pets at home, even if it’s just to help with the funk!

@jazakelara @googlenesthelp It happened to me too, tried to delete it and set it up again but not found so I tried to reset it with the button underneath.. And guess what? An error occurred 🤡 can't even reset my Google nest anymore lmao

@googlenesthelp Example of the problem..last night I set the thermostat to 75deg. Went to bed..woke up in the night to very hot house…Nest thermostat had somehow reverted to Eco mode and temperature was 77..my iPhone was 10 ft. from Nest. The phone was on, plugged in recharging 1/2

@googlenest It's more than 24 months since Google acknowledged this issue and more than 4 years this issue is raised by the customers. With arguably the smartest engineers on planet, one would assume it won't take so long to fix this, right?

@googlenesthelp I’ve gotten at least half a dozen different error messages. I’ve followed every troubleshoot I could find online. I deleted my account. Started a new one via my Google a/c. Started with the other unit and it connected, but the 2nd one wouldn’t, even though it worked when done 1st

@IrvineWelsh @googlenest Yes, same for me, went to @madebygoogle who went through stuff (it was the heat link (no lights) broken not thermostat) they then replaced it free of charge via Boxt engineer.

Doing "sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder" brings it back without having to toggle WiFi on my laptop. @googlenest apparently you listen to these things? Can you fix our network?

@googlenesthelp Thank you. I found all that to be the case. My problem was the activity wasn’t identified as an Event, so there was nothing to select in order to download. A screen recording worked in the end, but I wish I could have marked a range to save from the app.
