    @IGcom But I am an existing customer. I payed my US trading fees in Jan to be able to trade in Feb. Wouldn’t prioritising existing customers be stopping new accounts to be created? Not controlling what existing customers trade? Free market my ***.

    @IGcom @FSCS this is blatant market manipulation by IG. Everyone close your accounts and move to another Brokerage. By restricting buying this will crash the share price allowing Hedge fund Shorts to cover and make massive profits at the expense of the Retail Customer @FSCS ACT!

    @jasoncartwright @IGcom I have also been on the bad end of the stick with other trades related to the recent outages, but this isn't the first time IG have had difficulties with their servers. God help us if there's a crash.

What they are interested in, is being able to access their accounts and investments, as they are losing money in a falling market all because of your supposed bad IT. If you can provide the proper infrastructure,you should handle clients funds

    @IGClientHelp Due to the recent extreme volatility, and in order to prioritise the service we give our existing clients, we are not allowing any new positions to be opened on the US stocks GameStop and AMC Entertainment. WTF is going on here😡 This needs to be investigated

    @jasoncartwright @IGcom I’ve looked and it seems that in the UK the brokers either aren’t required to make the % public, or they may only divulge it if you’re a customer. I can’t tell which. But it doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me, when they’re all added up.
