And, I must say that I certainly got my money's worth, what with the 770+ hours I've invested into the game. It's my cozy game. I enjoy leveling my gathering & crafting skills. And it's a shame that it'll sunset next year.

People were doubting the profitability of the game since forever. Tons of bugs and issues went unfixed since launch and still are. The game always had potential but they never did reach it.

He's virtue signaling to sign petitions and "show amazon we want New World" but then is on WoW streaming instead. This is the new Culturally trendy thing that gets eyes on him but not on the real issue.

Roger Barreto (@rogerbarretto) reported@playnewworld Saddened. After many MMOs, this one really clicked and was very balanced. But 5k DAU won't cover the microtransactions model. Pity it can't sustain; I'd sub for stability. At least the COGS should suffice to keep the service online with some margin.

Then comes along AI which will fix absolutely nothing but is CHEAP and there you go. Suits see money money money.

The constant creation and merging of servers instead of system overhauls was just one of the things that turned me off.
