@Corastus @playnewworld 20+ years off MMOs here. They’re all dumpster fires for a week after launch unless they have no players. They’re gonna have to do 4 times the work they’d have had to do by Aug 31 to justify a Sept 28 delay because otherwise ANY issue at launch will be much more noticeable.

@playnewworld New World wish list: - add Stagger back please. The combat really needs this. - axe and hatchet is broken. (proven by the wars being 99% axe and 1% life staff - town board mission xp doesnt make sense. the gather missions give 2k to 3k xp while the combat gives 50

@HayzStreams @playnewworld I think it's good because they really need add more more variety to dungeons,quests and NPC's for example. Also to fix lots of bugs and balance the game in general.

@playnewworld I would love to see what issues made you push the date? Are these things game-breaking? I played over 200 hours, found nothing game-breaking. If it isn't game-breaking you can fix it after you launch. You won't get everything. If you are trying this game will never get launched.

@playnewworld *sigh* - Look, I get it. I know from personally working in the industry and having to manage "Sprints" and triage bugs and issues. It's hard to tell when your "baby" (the game) is ready. That said, I know for me personally I would be happy to play the game & download a patch.

@SoulfuryTTV @playnewworld I've been doubtful but hopeful about New World, especially after what they did to Crucible. I'm hoping these delays will actually result in problems getting fixed, I don't want to see a 3rd title from Amazon get dropped entirely right after launch.

@The_Lightor @EsfandTV @playnewworld No. Lots of issues can be fixed in the week timeframe, and they have almost 2 months. Lots of those issues are visible only when the game goes live or its close to being finished. Them delaying the game is a good thing. If they'd release a broken mess you'd cry twice as much.

@playnewworld Cool. We're back to 1980, when we used to think that a software can be "finished". For god sake, there is no such thing as a perfect software. Just release the ******* game and fix while people are playing. It is already good enough. I'm asking for refund right now.

@dabszy @Coleman52581770 @playnewworld A month isn't gonna change anything dude. A lot of these bugs have been an issue for a while. I'd rather them just release the damn game and work on them. If they really wanted to work on the game more they might as well release it even later. Like around October or November.

@playnewworld It took Elder Scrolls Online and No Man's Sky years after release to get it right. Take your time! Much easier to fix now than patch after launch.
