@playnewworld Ok you know your servers are probably going to crash when Europe starts playing and North America starts logging in to reserve our names? It would have been better to region bind the names instead of having them account bound.

@ItsSABER_ @playnewworld The current launch plan, means American may well end up playing before Europeans as they stay up late to name-grab and test builds while Europeans will either miss out or have to wake up early. This was not a good strategy if it has caused this creation and deleteion issue.

@Uhtred1234 @playnewworld @Diablo They won't be game breaking bugs. The only thing I see happening is the servers have que time and/or server issues. Game was running a lot better than #D2R

@Anubis9500 @playnewworld Problem is the choice they made is actually great long term it just has 1 major problem which is the whole name reservation thing in the long term global names allows for global server transferring and staggered launch means less server problems overall

@jmichael0213 @playnewworld No problem man 90% of people don’t understand that the game is launching in different countries are different times even if it shows the same date it’s not. It took me an entire day to find out the proper time since they changed it twice but yes Australians get it first

@Anubis9500 @playnewworld fair enough all opinion I guess as for the second part of your statement though, as much as stress test "help" it is close to impossible to not have server issues due to the initial load all at once this is why almost all major games especially MMOs have initial probs on launch

@Inctiz @playnewworld No I have the exact point, worked in IT for a long time, people that know what they are doing, launch on Tuesdays, as far from the weekend as possible without it being Monday. That way it ramps up more slowly, and there is time to fix critical issues before the big time Friday

@EyeSeeU8 @playnewworld If it’s from EVGA I would cap the frames as they have said there cards have manufacturing issues that is causing the over heating ended up not being a new world problem it can happen in many games sadly

@ItsSABER_ @playnewworld For me personally, it comes down to this. Why should I have my first play of the game on launch day affected by their miscalculation? They have not attempted to either own their mistake or fix it, which I consider bad form. At any rate, thanks for your comments.

@playnewworld Release the game Globally at the same time to avoid the prblems you've created with creation and deletion of characters and the filling up of European servers. Or change the name lock to regional. Fix the problem you created, own it, don't role with it.

@ckichcal @playnewworld MMOs because it helps with server load and makes taking time out of work easier also help so they can be in office to fix problems which is common for a MMO launch unlike FOS games that usually do not have game breaking bugs on launch

@playnewworld Anyone else bothered by misspelled server names? Game Devs have made their content so close to existing lore. But Hellheim, instead of Helheim (home of Hel, the goddess of death) That bothers me. Was it a copyright issue, or just laziness?
