@playnewworld Nope. I've seen threads saying re-installing the entire game doesn't fix it. Not everyone has infinite high-speed data for that also.

@creativem0dz @playnewworld Here's a fix that worked for me Right click new world in steam > Local files > Browse > Open the EasyAntiCheat folder > Run "EasyAntiCheat_Setup" and click repair, then finish. Launch new world.

Anyone having issues getting onto @playnewworld after today's Steam update, I was able to fix it by opening my installation folder, and running the EasyAntiCheat.exe to let it repair. Nothing else worked and also sounded very dodgy, this should be safe!

@playnewworld Is there a fix for stuttering? I dumped almost 100 hours prior to server maintenance and it ran smooth the entire time. Now it's just constant stutter. Idk if this is a server thing but I play on Ruach NA east

@playnewworld Fixed problem for me. I did both steps though. Verified game files and then installed EAC. When running the executable, the only option available was Install...then I ran the executable again and it gave me the option to Repair, so I had it repair as well just in case.

@EverydayGamer26 @playnewworld Or y'know, fix the bug that's actually preventing people from playing the game at all... Sorry, while those do need fixed, something that's actively STOPPING people from being able to play is and should be a top priority.

@barrington_tm @playnewworld To fix, go to steam library > New World > Click Properties > Local Files > Browse > AntiEasyCheat > Delete Certificates Folder > Launch EasyAntiCheat Setup > Click Repair New world > Click Finish > Launch New world. Should work.

@playnewworld Not sure if it’s been reported already as a separate issue but, since the patch the other day my Throw ability for the Hatchet no longer does any damage despite getting the little blood-splatter animation on the target. Thank you for what you do Social Media person 💙
