    @ring @ring_uk hi guys, you really need to post the current AWS issue on the #ring status page, as the outage has been ongoing for hours now. Your customers are raging at the you rather then AWS, and it’s not good PR. Note: I expect an auto reply will be incoming 👎

    @craiggardner373 @ring Did that to no avail. I did notice your on Android, put the ring app on my Android phone and what do you know, it works. Looking at iOS reviews it appears to be an issue on the iOS side.

    @ring our cameras that are set to not record in Disarmed mode are still detecting motion and recording. Reset base unit from the app but it didn’t fix it. Any suggestions please?

    @ring Is there a projected time when Ring devices will start working again? Very frustrating that there is not even a message from Ring to say 'we are working on a problem'. Devices monitoring vulnerable people and property is a service you provide, when will it resume?

    @EE I have a problem with my @ring devices. The app is not working, neither is their website. They say they have no problems and it must be my internet provider EE. Everything else works ok. What do you think?

    @lorraineareed @ring It would be good if they posted that there is an outage. But @Ring are not ultimately responsible as it’s a Amazon Web Services (AWS) affecting a number of companies/ Services.

    @ring let's do this publicly not on a DM, your app and website user login is down, and all base stations are showing as offline, giving an offline notification to the malfunctioning app every few minutes. Your website reports no issues, yet other status websites say otherwise.

    @ring I think as a customer you being the consumer delivering a service I paid for surely you need to take ownership acknowledgement that your app,website is both down. Please stop sending GENERIC responses to customers oh contact your provider oh send screenshot. #sortitout

    Dear @ring, You should be ashamed of yourselves. I recently purchsd a #FakeSecurity @ring for a close friend. She lives alone and thought it should help with "security". Just now a break & enter, man almost tried killing her. Apparently there's no CCTV avail b/c sub exp.

    All said, it’s bad enough when someone tries to open your front gate while your 6yo is upstairs sleeping, but @ring minimizing your frightening experience by denying the ability to alert your neighbors for arbitrary reasons is just salt in the wound.

    @ring trying to reconnect my device to wifi app has logged me out and asking to verify. Can’t even get past this, assuming the app and servers are down

    @ring The problem was resolved with escalation. The root is your policy. You should validate your policy in public so everyone can see how dishonest it is. I can not expose your companies poor ethics in a PM. #dobetter

    @MurrayDillon @ring Yep, understand, all has to start with the service provider front line though, least @ring can do is tell about an outage. So many getting stressed with lack of technology know how, thinking its their issue - fingers crossed its back soon

    @ring there are so many broken vehicle window robberies - why not design a ringwindow devise that alerts you when it’s broken or send an alarm?

    @ring I had a security issue today and the only 3 minutes of footage I needed did not record on the camera. I won't be renewing as its let me down quite a few times in the past.

    I called customer service amd they were more interested in asking me to subscribe monthly vs locating the CCTV footage off the server so I could get it to the police. Absolutely pathetic. I don't reccomend @ring to nobody.

    @ring hi there, whenever someone rings my doorbell it sounds like the motion chime. I have set my notifications for the doorbell sound but always reverts to motion chime despite it not been displayed as selected..how can I fix this?

    @Ring why not just tell users what the issue is and that you are working on it! So many are trying to fix something as individuals and wasting their time. Not to mention being very anxious about monitoring vulnerable people and properties !

    Back on line! Thanks @ring @ring_uk for sorting, have to say very disappointed I couldn't find any official status update from you, it was left to those affected turning to SM to verify wasn't an individual issue. Maybe learn from that for next time - keep customers in the loop!?

    @ring Still not trying to admit or even look at the real ethical issue yet… Why do you not warranty your batteries? You apparently cover them when purchased in a unit, but if you purchased an extra… Not Covered. #dobetter #transparency #accountability_avoidance
