@TTBoldaf @ring I permanently disabled the siren by disconnecting the wires inside it. As there is no way to manually turn of the siren via software. I just want it to call me discretely upon a break in. It worked fine up until this outage today!

@GoBUFFUrself @ring So sorry to you and everyone experiencing problems. It must be a nightmare to all. This incident cemented my decision NOT to go with Ring when I decide to upgrade my service with cameras. Amazon isn’t truly in the security business. They should stay in their lane.

@AndrewM497 @ring Ring is owned by Amazon. It’s Amazon AWS that has an outage and that’s where ring sits. Just shows that having ring is not a good idea. I have 4 floodlight cams and the ring alarm. I’ll be rethinking about a wired solution now.

@ring service is the worst. My packages were stolen from my door step and I don’t have the video footage because your servers were down 😑. Can’t get through to customer service or @amazon customer service because of the same problem. Why do I even give y’all my money?
