Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jonkleidon Jon Kleidon (@jonkleidon) reported

@ring Thieves are aware of the outage and taking advantage. I have three visible @Ring cameras outside and today was the “random” one day my new Christmas decorations were ripped out of the ground and stolen in broad daylight. Merry Christmas.

  • carlwills85 Carl Wills (@carlwills85) reported

@ring @PrentisWalker F*cking pointless to direct people to a link that says everything is down… stop copying and pasting the same response…

  • TT46015816 Katie T (@TT46015816) reported

@ring Still down… can’t even log in the ring app.

  • Jayne720 Jayne (@Jayne720) reported

@LexxK13 @ring It's an issue with Amazon's cloud server. Impacting businesses, universities, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Ring, Alexa...

Jesus christ truly hate @ring @ring_uk All day I haven't been able to log into my account. I'm paying for this **** you AHs!! Will be exchanging all the crap I've got for #Tapo cameras (which I have never had an issue with). @TPLINKUK

  • UFOSully UFOSully (@UFOSully) reported

@GoBUFFUrself @ring If you rely on a multi billion Euro company to keep you safe then you've got more problems than an outage. Get a German Shepard. They almost never go offline. 🐕

  • zprotection18 Z PROTECTION SERVICES (@zprotection18) reported

@ring so DISAPPOINTED in this today, STILL NOT WORKING

  • Nolaflowergirl Deanna Velasco (@Nolaflowergirl) reported

@ring Now you're hiding replies that call out your service outage? #shady

  • johnzjargo johnzjargo (@johnzjargo) reported

@theblingfisher @ring Agreed. My immediate thought this morning was 'why won't they send out an alert.' Ten hours later, still down. This is unacceptable, @ring.

  • DoctorMan Doc (@DoctorMan) reported

@hqt__ @ring Don’t worry. Ring security systems are down because of the Amazon Web Services outage, so you won’t hear any pesky alarms at all.

  • Nazcahari Amanda Perez (@Nazcahari) reported

@ring You know what would be nice? Telling your customers of an outage. I understand things happen, but I was trying to troubleshoot on my side for a while before I realized the problem was on YOUR END! I do PAY for your service. I know you have my info! An email would’ve been nice.😡

  • SeasidePoppy Poppy Rose (@SeasidePoppy) reported

@ring @towger3 Yeh still no access. This is utter rubbish. 8 hours to identify the issue and you still can fix it. What are we paying for?!

  • Rugazi Chris Miller (@Rugazi) reported

Wow, amazing service from @ring just shows how stupid relying on an internet connect for a product to work is. It's just expensive overpriced poor quality hardware and forced subscription to use the useful features. I'm super impressed.

  • carlwills85 Carl Wills (@carlwills85) reported

@ring @AmberlYnJeaN F*cking pointless to direct people to a link that says everything is down… stop copying and pasting the same response…

  • ClosetLibrarian ClosetLibrarian (@ClosetLibrarian) reported

@ring Send them over to ring headquarters to fix the outage LOL

  • nate4cb Nate Watson (@nate4cb) reported

@ring Isn't it your duty to contact your customers by automated message to our numbers on file, rather than broadcast to the world our security is down? Glad I'm not one of your lawyers tonight.

  • pyrateking0 james wood (@pyrateking0) reported

    @ring still not working,

  • bubbleskpop1 Lucy 🏳️‍🌈 ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 (@bubbleskpop1) reported

@ring any idea if recordings will still be saved as someone attempted burglary on my flat a couple of days ago and i want to know if they've come back at all. And any timeframe on how long they will be down?

  • SaSSyBXTCH_BABE TyE (@SaSSyBXTCH_BABE) reported

@ring i still cant login to my account why?!?!?

  • Hawkertech Hawkertech (@Hawkertech) reported

@ring how about making the cameras accessible localy over wifinwhen the internet goes down or your service is down, that way they are still security cameras so we can see when we get an alert. Which works withoutbinternet.

  • D3faultRetr0 don't worry about it (@D3faultRetr0) reported

@ring When @amazon buys @ring and forces them to use AWS then when AWS goes down for whatever reason, the millions of Ring users who DEPEND on Ring to keep them safe at home or away and protect their belongs and family and all we get is "sorry, keep checking this webpage"

  • vmwrites2266 Vince Mattaliano (@vmwrites2266) reported

Wow, @ring . Only 10 hours of outage. That's real high tech.

  • Jason1112345 Jason (@Jason1112345) reported

@ring Ur cam is slow to load up and the new floodlight cam randomly decides to turn the lights on whenever it wants. I’ll be leaving to go back to @googlenest

  • NekuNoise Neku Light (@NekuNoise) reported

@ring @JaySaidWhat_ Can we please double time the fix Alexa isn't working too but next time can you send a mass email to tell us so I don't have to go searching for the problem

  • GXPSS Charles McCloud (@GXPSS) reported

@ring my @amazon delivery of frozen perishables sat outside for 4 hours because the cameras and doorbells were down in your fiasco of an outage. Who's reimbursing those?

  • mikeo111 Mike #FBPE #JohnsonOut 🐝❤ 🖤 (@mikeo111) reported

@ring Do you understand that people use your security product for home security? I've just spent over £200 on a system which is not working. If not fixed, will contact my credit card company and action a charge back

  • ChrisStaplesTst CY (@ChrisStaplesTst) reported

@ring Does ring really not have a disaster recovery plan? Why can't the load balancer be set to use a different working server farm? My family uses the cameras to keep an eye on elderly relatives. Being out all day is inexcusable. As a paying subscriber I want a refund for this!

  • Grogu2021 Happy Thanos (@Grogu2021) reported

@ring @theblingfisher Customer: “Why don’t you NOTIFY customers of an outage?” @ring : “Hello, ‘F’ you Mr. Customer, here’s a BS response answering none of your concerns”
