Dan Spack (@DanieltheLion1) reported@ring Though the signal strength is still poor, it seems the Spotlight Cam is not discounting from the WiFi as much as before the extender was installed. It was explained to me previously that was a primary issue for the fast battery drain. I’ll send a DM. Thanks.

Alexi atherton (@Alexi2088) reported@ring Three calls. Three different advisers. Around 25 minutes on each call. Three terminated calls before my issue was resolved. That’s over an hour of my time wasted with nothing to show for it. Easily some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Vikas Chowdhry (@english_august) reportedI’ve spent 10 minutes on @ring app trying to figure out how to configure which @AmazonAlexa device rings for my ring camera but I don’t have a clue! Apparently “linked chimes” does it if you have a chime but “linked devices” option is something entirely else. Alexa and Ring apps are two worst designed apps and despite all the talk about AI capabilities from Amazon, their AI supported queries functionality is absolutely unusable.

Will not refund so I can get from Amazon stock or credit service. Camera down and security risk. Suggest do not buy ring.

FULLΛM (@waynefullam) reported@Ring the fact that I was able to seamlessly resume a support chat I started yesterday, with the new agent already having full context of the previous conversation, is a really elegant system. They had the issue resolved in under 5 minutes once I was on-site with the hardware. More companies need to do this.

And when I'd make complaints, the Ring outreach team or whatever it's called would constantly try to contact me and their reps would all have obviously black names, and my neighbors are black, so... Not hard to fathom in this age, especially when employees got caught looking at video (and this was before that story broke. I've had Ring for years now).

Surely this known glitch can be fixed. What if I was away and had power cut: the when would go offline until I got back. That goes against the whole idea

The tracking number listed is for only the partial order received. There is no tracking number for the items that were not sent. I tried chat and they gave me a number to call. All that did was loop back to the website showing my order, but THERE IS NO TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE ITEMS THAT YOU DID NOT SEND. FIX THIS! IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN SENT. Pending status does not cut it. Never ordering again unless you fix this.
