Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • n_ludvigson Grissomizing Vegas 🌴 🇺🇲 🌴 (@n_ludvigson) reported

@ring I got a new smartphone & now I can't login and/or connect to my doorbell. I tried account verification but it says I need my old phone. HELP!!

  • EdgarRhetta RJEdgar (@EdgarRhetta) reported

@kocichichot @ring @JamieSiminoff I feel the same Alicja. I count on viewing on my desktop. Thinking I will contact SimpliSafe. My ring doesn't show half the time anyway. Always seem to have a problem with it. Always an error code. And the error code has to do with their company, nothing to do with home.

  • greenbar4 Steven Green (@greenbar4) reported

@ring 1/2 I have a 2 year old floodlight camera and protect plan with faulty IR filter that is very common issue. The image is either pink or night vision doesn’t work (check the forums) ring wouldn’t replace it… only offered me a discount code. The discount code didn’t work

  • _SparkleandPop Krissie (@_SparkleandPop) reported

@PrivatepAuLa2 @JayARic @ring Oh it definitely is, but they have just taken the decision to remove the feature rather than just stop supporting it - the only way I can share my frustrations is with the poor SOB that runs the social media account. I'm annoyed, the damn thing was £50 and only a year old 😭

  • AndyType2 Andy (@AndyType2) reported

@ring Hi, just bought a ring 2 but didn’t get a 30 day free trial. Just looked and saw this should be standard, but I have already paid for a basic subscription. Can you help?

  • JohnHuckle8 John Huckle (@JohnHuckle8) reported

@ring so anyone tell me how I get rid of privacy blocks, as they seem to be a perminant feature as you can edit it but can't get rid off, did ask couple of days ago, but no one answered...can any one help...

  • InflewenceofINF Inflewence (@InflewenceofINF) reported

@ring Just to be a help to people in the future. Smart things was the reason my battery was draining. I have a widget on my Samsung frige, that lets me see the camera feed on it. Smart things updated and must have tweeked something because it worked fine before their update.

  • SnowdriftAntiqx Snowdrift Antiques (@SnowdriftAntiqx) reported

In two exact same locations, same Wi-Fi network, Ring outperformed @Canary hands down. No missed motions. No stalled motions. No more people showing up out of nowhere. No more people disappearing into thin air. @Ring

  • NIronwolf N Ironwolf (@NIronwolf) reported

@_SparkleandPop @ring Seriously? Just taking away a key feature? Not just saying it's not going to be supported, but actually removing it? I'm glad we no longer put in this garbage as an integrator.

  • NekBent Bent Nek (@NekBent) reported

@ring can’t log in to my camera while I’m out of town. Wtf!!

  • savi_mama Sara Villalobos (@savi_mama) reported

Wtf @ring? Commercials showing a woman’s house nearly burgled and a young black man ring from the porch?!? Why? There is no need to perpetuate a stereotype that is harmful to people of color. @amazon you should know better.

  • akhan999 Amjid Khan (@akhan999) reported

@MzCaramelCookie @ring It’s so small how does it even help. I disabled them immediately

  • LisaLurksAlot Lisa Muscente (@LisaLurksAlot) reported

@ring have you made any progress on continuous recording history rather than snapshots? Nest has always had this. I just switched over and now I'm kind of disappointed at the loss of a pretty important feature to me. When it catches motion late, 30s snaps don't really help much.

  • aussiecake Eddie (@aussiecake) reported

@ring I need help with logging into my account on new phone/laptop. Don’t have previous device

  • thenaimis naimis (@thenaimis) reported

@ring Fiiiixed. No more spooky cat deja vu matrix glitch.

  • EdgarRhetta RJEdgar (@EdgarRhetta) reported

@kocichichot @ring @JamieSiminoff I am also. That is the one thing I could count on when it actually worked was viewing it on my desktop. Have had issues with it and the error code had to do with their tech difficulties, nothing to do with my set up at home. Simplisafe is the way to go.

  • Vollkornzombie Timo A. Starck (@Vollkornzombie) reported

@ring Maybe it's only me but it still shows Ring service offline in my RSS feeder ....

  • SnowdriftAntiqx Snowdrift Antiques (@SnowdriftAntiqx) reported

@JayARic @_SparkleandPop @ring tbh, it's prolly just some poor sob managing the social media account and noone that could actually do ****. but the entire thing is just garbage. **** the entire "only as app" carp. i will, for example, never do any banking on my ******* phone.

  • Hammer716 Robert Hammer (@Hammer716) reported

@ring Why don’t you have a superior that has the capability of fixing this issue contact me directly like they said they would

  • savi_mama Sara Villalobos (@savi_mama) reported

    @ScuderiaAsino @ring @amazon Just terrible…

  • Grizzwold4 Grizzwold (@Grizzwold4) reported

Now 2 weeks into my saga with @ring. Called about my lost package on Friday. Told it’d be “escalated” but I’ve heard nothing. I guess I paid $500 for absolutely nothing. Don’t expect help from Ring

  • jodiness Jodi Paul (@jodiness) reported

@ring REALLY REALLY disappointed about the desktop app. SUPER BAD MOVE. Ready to uninstall and send back. WTF. WTAF.

  • hatedsoc hated (@hatedsoc) reported

@ring chat couldn't help. social media support on twitter can't help. was told to call for support. Why do are wait times on hold over 45 minutes? Absolutely ridiculous.

  • IrishGuyKevin Kevin ☘ (@IrishGuyKevin) reported

@ring I got the alert that Rich Notifications are working again. But they are not working for me. I have a strong signal, so that isn't the issue. What should I try now?

  • YOUNGSUMMA YOUNGSUMMA (@YOUNGSUMMA) reported

@ring Rich notifications are not working for me. All switches are on, but still nothing.

  • ImACrazyHuman Starts with a P (@ImACrazyHuman) reported

@ring alarm wifi went out can not reconnect unless I string a Eithernet cable across my house and I am tripping over it how to fix thanks

  • JohnHuckle8 John Huckle (@JohnHuckle8) reported

@ring Yes it is beautiful, shame here in the UK we do not get the Ring quality like in the USA....but then Ring don't pay UK taxes.....or help their customers when there is a problem.....they are like Ostriches...bury their heads in the sand and hope they go away....

  • _SparkleandPop Krissie (@_SparkleandPop) reported

@PrivatepAuLa2 @JayARic @ring Does make you wonder doesn't it- the problem is there's no one to give genuine feedback to for these things anymore since all companies just hand their low paid customer service staff a script and wipe their hands of it. It's so frustrating. And I get we vent at the wrong ppl but

  • HaligonianXP HaligonianCanuck 🇨🇦🇬🇧 (@HaligonianXP) reported

@ring The alarm came back online, and didn't know it was offline. Do you still require this screenshot?
