@ring I appreciate if you have an outage my cameras won’t record, but to actually deny me access to my cameras in live view seems a completely unacceptable singular point of failure! I think some lessons learnt are needed, a major flaw in Ring Security! Can I set my alarm tonight?

@morts1993 @ring Went thru same thing when was onmy 1st vaca 4 years right afr Thanksgiving only reason found out there was problem that time was because an IT outages site revealed it but before that #RingOutage #Amazon wasted my time me doing all kinds troubleshooting knowing issue on their end

@ring 3 weeks since the last outage. Which was 2 weeks after the previous one. You literally renewed my subscription yesterday. 3 outages in 5 weeks is completely unacceptable

@evrimicozphoto @ring Feel your pain When this happened few weeks ago — had taken my 1st vacation 4yrs almost cut short 2 come home Wasted 3+ hours chasing potential problems w/my ISP or device itself — only discovered issue because of IT outages site knew that revealed. status link didn’t work either

@ring one request, if you have an outage, send a notification to your customers. There is no reason with all the technology that you have that you can’t send a mass notification out on the app or via email. Even Xfinity and Cox cable does that.

@pink_dottie @ring per @AndroidCentrall Update at 1:15pm ET: Services are slowly being restored. At this time, it appears that Amazon's website and Disney+ are coming back online. Other major services (Ring, Chime, etc are still down, though)

@ring It's not rings fault. It's Amazon web services. I'm just impressed that ring is actually telling us something as opposed to the AWS Twitter saying nothing. It's the news outlets that are actually reporting the problem.

@ring Major problems with adding other family members to my #RingDoorbell I set it up. Receive the verification code, when they enter it , it says there was an issue. It won’t be useful if only I can use it

@ring So I assume my ring camera outage is because you use AWS which is down at the moment, as a security tool I am very surprised you do not have resilience that uses Azure or other services to maintain my service
