The internet is a "web" of servers; redundancy is built into the design. Server A connects to servers B and C; B connects to C. If A to B fails, A can get to B via C. Makes zero sense @Rogers had complete outages, especially 9-1-1 infrastructure. It should all have fail-over.

@AntToronto @RogersHelps Is it showing up on your available networks, but not giving you any internet access? Or is the network not showing up?

@RogersHelps My Internet service came up at around 2:15 am so it was a 21 - 22 hour outage. Needless to say it was an inconvenience for all us. Although we don’t yet know what was the root cause, let’s keep in mind there were also a lot of people working long hours to get it restored.

Here's a question that has probably been asked already, how was it that @Rogers was able to tweet yesterday while they had this huge outage of service? What network or service were you using? Obviously not Rogers, you just rather have all your customers suffer.

@chewinglass @RogersHelps @Nancy_Crouse You should totally quit Rogers! And when you do, don't forget Bell had the same issues a year ago.

If yesterday's @rogers down had taught us anything... It is that CASH is still KING. Reject cashless society plans.
