Rogers Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Ds (@Sky__16__) reported@RogersHelps @Rogers 5-hour outage. $250+ lost income. $2 credit. Then Rogers tells me I should pay another $15/month for backup internet. Imagine causing the problem, offering less than 1% of the losses as compensation, and then pitching a subscription as the fix.

Didem (@keskindidem) reportedI was told my service had to be cancelled because Rogers couldn’t provide service at my new address in Montreal @Rogers
-
Rob Rock (@TheRobertRock) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Because we want cheap prices And because of stupid economic practices we've raised the minimum wage too high to sustain entry level positions like call centers. If we want Canadian call center agents we need to pay call center wages not inflated minimums that destroy the economy

Brad Pelman (@bpelman) reported@RogersHelps what’s the update for the central Toronto outage including Cedarvale Eglinton Ave West. No service since 800 am?
-
OJE (@odugwamen20) reported@RogersHelps Estimated resolution time for the outage?
-
MO (@mkmaster0003) reported@RogersHelps @Rogers One of the most unprofessional ways to get in contact with customer service. I need to talk to customer service to discuss a few things about my account. And they decided to hang up on me, because they said, there's high volume calls at this time.

ams🍉 (@amsinthenorth) reported@RogersHelps It it doesn't work intermittently at home and several areas around Sudbury, none of which are remote or rural. It's the rogers network and im in the process of switching to another provider bc this is beyond ridiculous
-
Sweet Tooth (@sweet_tooth19) reported@JustMeJamie64 @mike_kozar @Rogers They outsourced all their call centers to be in Casablanca and also India. So much for them promoting 100% Canadian call centers. Back in the day, they used to answer the phone with “you’ve reached Jane in Moncton, how can I help you?” Notice how that is gone?
-
Carole Farhall (Khaligirl) (@CaroleFarhall) reported@Rogers prepaid box to send my S26 phone back so my bill will go down even more because I will not be paying for the it anymore. I did say no to the phone at the moment because it sounded to go to be true

Kartz (@Lord_Kartz) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers When I have called in the past, support would say, “This is <name> from Rogers in <Canadian city>.” In some cases, it was true. Anyway, for Robbers to employ CS staff in Canada, they’d have to pay well which they (and others) don’t like to. Hence the outsourcing. Cheap labour.
