@alancross @Rogers I think their consistently long waits and poor customer service, are intentional. That way, customers simply don’t call. @Rogers is a communication company. If they wanted to provide better service, they would.

@alancross @Rogers I agree! When trying to find out if there is an internet outage in my area it's like pulling teeth trying to get an answer. #shameful

@Rogers FYI- after over 2hrs waiting to talk with a person still only in online chat because there is literally no way to talk to a real person- I got a follow up text that said sorry the issue was “resolved” but couldn’t pinpoint the cause. Are you even checking anything?

@alancross @Rogers Their customer service is awful. They are lucky Canada lets them run a monopoly.

@Rogers @RogersHelps Right now: 20% packet loss, RTT swinging 150ms→527ms on the same 5 pings. Not an outage you can point at somebody else, this is your transit flapping. Third occurrence in ~12 hours. Windows, PDT: 10:00-10:42, 19:23-20:20, 22:04-ongoing

@Rogers @RogersHelps It "fixed itself" at 20:20 PDT because upstream rerouted to Cogent. Rogers did nothing. Second occurrence in one day means it's a pattern not a blip. Are you monitoring your PCCW peering at all, or is your outage detection just waiting for customers to tweet?

@RogersHelps A small square box,,, "XiOne-SC (B)" unsure what it is (modem or repeater or TV?). Residential. Service is cancelled, resident/account holder has passed away.

@RogersHelps 2 of 2. Bell Mobility is courting me. They gave me a price lower than yours, I called back and told CS this and they said they would "send it to Customer Services". I have not heard back from Rogers at all. Disappointing since we have been customers for over 20 yrs
