@_BrandonRussell @Rogers My Rogers TV in Toronto was on all day. My Virgin phone worked all day. Let's dial down these sweeping statements about how one company "captured" Canada yesterday.

So @Rogers services go down countrywide within a handful of days following a merger deal with Shaw being publicly known? Coincidence? I think not. Obviously people don't want Rogers to buyout Shae. Then a deeper deal gets cut to undermine Canadian sentiment and opinions.

When @Cloudflare had an update that caused a major Worldwide outage they were down for 2 hours. When @Rogers had an update that caused an outage it took 19 to fix. If this doesn't kill the Shaw acquisition, then all of Canada is doomed. #rogersoutage #stopthebig3

Why didn't @Rogers send an emergency text(s) when services went down? Why don't they sell SIM cards from other service providers to use during an emergency like what travellers can buy on airplanes? Is it unsafe to buy these from @amazon and not your service provider?
