@RogersHelps @Rogers "We believe in the power of human connections" I guess that's why I've heard nothing from Rogers in the 8 hours the service has been down

Paul S.
(@biggbonger) reported
@RogersHelps It's easy to say you are sincerely sorry about the disruptions. Let's see that apology in the form of rebate, discount, refunds, etc... for lack of service. Then we will see how truly sorry you are. I doubt you are sorry at all as long as we all still pay our monthly bill.

@PaulChato @RogersHelps Sure, if you're not in critical lines of business. What about everything that works off the LTE network? It's not just a couple schmucks without a cellphone. There's critical infrastructure offline right now.

@Rogers @RogersHelps Why won’t my phone connect to another carrier when my service has been down for 17 hours?

Hey #rogersdown folks, did you know you can within minutes port your number to a new carrier, which auto cancels your @RogersHelps service w/o even contacting them? Go to a cell shop, do it now, walk out with service. Takes minutes, c do online if you have a new SIM, too. #rogers

@RogersHelps Brutal. Still down. I'm checking to see how much is it to finish my contract. The silence is deafening.

I expect @RogersHelps and @FidoSolutions to proactively credit all customers affected by today's massive service interruption. Businesses can't function. People can't book appointments for life-saving vaccines. "We apologize for the inconvenience" won't cut it.
