@CheriDiNovo @Rogers Still without any home service, no internet phone or TV. My cell service is extremely spotty. Spent hours on end on the phone waiting only to be told nothing they can do service is out will have to wait, and would not speak about credit at all. Provide the service I pay for!

  • lauradw Laura 🇺🇦 (@lauradw) reported

So we are still without TV and can't sign into anything. This goes for many others in my area as well. @rogers is wrong. "Most" people do not have full service back. And they continue to tell half truths. Rediculous after 3 days.

@RogersHelps If it's still down in Toronto (where the company is headquartered), is it *really* fixed?

  • LenYaletown *** Perry (@LenYaletown) reported

@AboutRogers @Rogers Do you seriously think a day of lost business can be made up by crediting accounts for 1 day? Seriously? That's how you show accountability? This is the 2nd time in 15 months we have witnessed a Rogers meltdown and subsequently heard about your commitment to do better. Crap.

  • tim_fevens tim.m.fevens (@tim_fevens) reported

@KatyFevans just ready you article on the tear in the magnetic field. I know I’m probably wrong with this thought but I wonder if this was the cause of the blackout for @rogers. A burst from the sun late during the tear may have affected their equipment?

  • JakeMad15 Jake (@JakeMad15) reported

@DailyHiveTO Don't be a freaking idiot. Use your head. This absolutely wasn't just a maintenance update. So no, most of us absolutely don't believe them. They would've known right away if it was a "maintenance update". They're lying to everyone and I hope they crash and burn @Rogers

  • yearof0X chestinho (@yearof0X) reported

@CheriDiNovo @Rogers was thinking 💭 if every #Rogers customer, chose not to pay their #JulyBill that would be powerful 💪🏽

  • KellyPickard3 Kelly Pickard-Lefter (@KellyPickard3) reported

@Michael_Brent55 @CheriDiNovo @Rogers Our landline was out all Friday as well. My elderly mother just got her landline service back today. No 911, no lifeline fall-detection service. Friend of my son who works at a retirement residence couldn’t call 911 when there was need for paramedics. Scary stuff.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@cdnthatmatters @Rogers @TekSavvyBuzz There is a charge-back mechanism (with Rogers). But in this case, I don't know what is going on. The outage has been more than 24 hrs contrary to what the CRTC & Rogers say. TSI even acknowledged this. So there is some hefty BS here.

  • GmcottonCotton Gordon Cotton MStJ CD (@GmcottonCotton) reported

@Sorghe @charlesadler @Rogers And some of us had already made the decision to change. Not that the others don't have issues, but this one was a big one! Fortunately my cell service is with a different provider. By the end of the week my other services as well. Minor but 24hrs of weather data not sent.
