If nothing else, the @CRTCeng needs to do some actual governance of the sector. Demand post-mortems on incidents of this magnitude. Incident communications was terrible. Confidence in @RogersHelps (and @Bell) is apathetic levels, most laugh it off w/memes of terrible service.

@CP24 What does that literally equate to in #dollars and #cents. How are smaller companies like the Southwestern service provider @Startca that piggyback on @Rogers how will they reimburse customers & how timely will this all happen.

Our internet home with @Rogers has been out again for the last two hours. I called and they said it was an area outage and then they proceeded to congratulate themselves on hours quickly they had a crew out there. “We do nothing, but we do it very fast”

@Rogers outage shows just how inept our @CRTC_Canada is. Canadian telecoms have had the #CRTC in their back pocket for years and here is the proof. Regulated ? Right ! I want my tax money back!

I can't even comment under @Rogers @RogersHelps post. That's ridiculous. “That's not acceptable. $130/month for such an unreliable network. A lot of things screwed up by not having signals. I lost hundreds of dollars and my company lost thousands”.
