If you’re into disappointment, or wasting your money, sign up for a cell phone with @rogers and business internet with @Bell_Aliant. No signal anywhere outside of any community ever and 18mps upload speeds. 🤘🏼

@gmbutts @Rogers Too bad, Gerald. Maybe it's the difference due to living in a smaller community in the Maritimes, but I find that the Rogers support here is really good, though coverage is not as good as it should be.

@Rogers is continually dropping internet. Tech knows this issue and refuses to send a tech out. How is this acceptable when thousands are still working from home? We need reliable and affordable internet.

@RogersHelps - Is there anyone who can help? I have shared my concerns related to incorrect billing on my Rogers account 3x and was assured each time that the correct charges will be reflected on my bill. Well, it was not - how many days of hold would it take?

Remember that giant country-wide outage by @Rogers Canada a few weeks back? Rogers has now released some more insights into what happened. Let's take a look 🧵

Every day I get 2-8 emails claiming to be from Rogers. I ask @Rogers what I can do about them. Their crack technical team tells me 'don't open them." Wow, never thought of that. Of course now I can't see my monthly bill. So I wasn't terribly surprised when their system crashed.

@RogersHelps my internet is down for the third time in a week. Can you please confirm if there are ongoing issues in the markham area. Also will I receive an additional credit for this?
-

@rogers Glad I’m leaving…today. Would think the credit would appear on this bill. Guess those that switched will just be un-comped. Not sticking around for spotty internet service for credit equivalent to a cup of coffee. Beyond disappointed throughout the years.

@JaneBrownNews @RogersHelps 100% agree. I just got my bill and there was no credit nor any info regarding the outage or a credit. Look forward to a lot of frustrated complaints coming your way Rogers.

@Chilli_Momma @Rogers I was off for 3 days. Back on Sunday 12:20 pm. Finally when I could do live chat. But still slow or no connection. With a $330 plus Rogers bill a month this should be better service and a 5 day credit isn't enough. That's about $60 total. Peanuts.

@JaneBrownNews @LIZPR @Rogers That would make sense. I got my recent bill with zero credit. Par for the course for such a god awful piss poor company like Rogers. No surprise to me given how people like John Tory and Tony Staffieri are on the board of directors along with that pompous elitist Ed Rogers

@Rogers is there a reason why i’ve had no cellular service, once again since 4am?
-
Serge Cormier
(@NRGSerge) reported
@jfmezei Actually after reading their response, excessive use of the # character by @Rogers could very well be the cause of this outage. They stated that a filter in their router's configuration was accidentally disabled and in most configuration files, the # is used to comment out lines.
