@Rogers @mausiegf Fix the network and stop over charging customers. That's a start

  • liljenstolpe Christopher L 🇺🇦BZ! (@liljenstolpe) reported

@atoonk @Rogers Thank's for the distil, @atoonk. I apologize in advance if this sounds like "back when I was doing this" - because it is exactly that. Two, none of us were on what was obviously an outage bridge from hell, so this is all supposition. With that said, some thoughts 1/

  • DenUnglued D€|\| (@DenUnglued) reported

@RogersHelps Yes, please put up more towers so people that pay your exorbitant monopoly fees can get some service in areas other than the GTA.

  • jaimiedalton Jaimie Marshall (@jaimiedalton) reported

@RogersHelps our internet is down AGAIN and we’ve been told 2-24 hours. This is ridiculous and unacceptable - at what point do we get the service we pay for?

  • liljenstolpe Christopher L 🇺🇦BZ! (@liljenstolpe) reported

@atoonk @Rogers Two, install max-prefix filters on peers. Set them to be fairly permissive, but to catch the downstream idiot who decides to disaggregate the DFZ to /24s before spraying it at you. Also set them to protect 'fragile' kit that shouldn't see scads of routes 4/

  • dubroe Elan Dubrofsky (@dubroe) reported

@RogersHelps I'm having the same issue

  • missakind 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 (she/her) (@missakind) reported

@RogersHelps Wow. This response doesn’t even include an apology. Your communications team needs retraining. The appropriate response would have started with “We are so sorry for the disruption in your service.” Regardless of the details, service was interrupted yet again. So poorly handled.

  • ChapidiKranthi Kranthi Chapidi (@ChapidiKranthi) reported

Dispite paying 100's of dollers per month to @rogers they failed to provide efficient service to me and my area on multiple occasions. So decide to Finally get rid of all the rogers products(tv, internet, wireless), best feeling ever!!! It seved me 100's of dollars every month!

  • liljenstolpe Christopher L 🇺🇦BZ! (@liljenstolpe) reported

@atoonk @Rogers You are right, fiddling your route filters manually will eventually bite, and usually bite hard. The solution is to not do that manually. Use the IRDB tools (or local variants) to generate the filters automatically and audit and test the heck out of the mechanism. 2/
