@CheriDiNovo @Rogers Had Rogers used some of their "healthy"profits to build a more robust system, this catastrophic outage could have been contained. I see zero morality in these corporations. This is the natural endpoint of capitalism.

@Rogers @MsKimR “Vast” means not fully. I still have problems with my TV Ignite Box. Intermittent signals and cannot watch the pre-recording items. It said it has connection issues and asks for call Rogers! I have already rebooted my router many times!!!!

@andyboyce2404 @RogersHelps I'll also add that those same companies who use the "We'll budget for a missing day once a year" logic to validate not having a fail over acct with another ISP, are still outraged at the loss & talk about not being able to afford missing a day when outages occur.

@CBCNews There is still a Canada-wide problem with Rogers, not being reported by CBC or being disclosed by @Rogers. Cellphone internet/email not working unless you're on wifi. Pls report on this important issue.

@RogersHelps @ShumitHaque And what did we learn? - data centres should have actual PEOPLE monitoring the network systems? - systems should have alarms when network/routers go offline? - instruct comms people not wait hours and hours to report outages?

@mayimsmom @vote4robgill @Rogers I am not blamming rogers rep and customer service employee. Its rogers management, who ahould have atleast done more communication. Those call center employees are the last ine to blame for.. they are not responsible for updates nor responsible for how the situation ws handled
