@Rogers @RogersHelps are customers, going to be compensated for this outage? Maybe a 1 day refund?

  • WearyKirin WearyKirin (@WearyKirin) reported

@natalierlandry @RogersHelps 911 calls still worked which is really what you would be calling in an emergency

  • stilez Stilez (@stilez) reported

@smiler2729 @RogersHelps It'll only be $2 or so. Take your monthly plan (say $60/mth) ÷ 30days =$2/day. So because it was down 24hrs, you'll only get a $2 rebate. Better to ask for free data or something else

  • natalierlandry Natalie (@natalierlandry) reported

@RogersHelps Still no service for me, Calgary, AB. Not happy, this is far past unacceptable!

  • ScotfreeMe Rose (@ScotfreeMe) reported

@FelixTse11 @RogersHelps Just wait. They bought Shaw. Things are about to get worse for the end user. Such monopolies, should never be allowed when it comes to particular services. Canadians have little choice, when it comes to certain business.

  • 0x4f47 Oleksiy Гайда (@0x4f47) reported

Even if you are fully vaccinated, the CDC recommends against using SMS for 2FA authentication, especially if you're a @RogersHelps customer. Side effects may include being unable to login, anywhere, for a period of up to 12 hours.

  • natalierlandry Natalie (@natalierlandry) reported

@WearyKirin @RogersHelps It wasn’t just internet that people lost, it was phone services as well. With many people not having a landline, wireless is the only form of contact they have. If an emergency were to happen and no one could get a hold of someone, it’s catastrophic.

  • TweetiepieHawly Tweetiepie 🌺 (@TweetiepieHawly) reported

@ScotfreeMe @RogersHelps I agree. I’m on Shaw for cable but cables days are numbered. I could live with 3 of my channels so would like to just stream. It is the internet Shaw charges a lot on. I get a few with Rogers phone and service has been fine I guess, up until today. Still no service.

@AboutRogers @RogersHelps Thinking of all the Rogers customer service reps that had to put up with a bunch of whiney little babies with first world problems.

@Rogers I was stranded in pemberton looking for address for deliveries.... couldn’t even call dispatch. Found a gas station driving around they wouldn’t let me use their phone.. this was a horrible day for everyone you need an alert saying we’re going to **** you up.
