Looking for some broadband wisdom help. For months our internet has dropped several times a day. Each time we open a ticket with @TekSavvyBuzz, they refer us to @RogersHelps, who refuse to send a tech and then close the ticket saying the problem is solved. (It’s not.)

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I've always found Teksavvy to be helpful even though the need to send Rogers. Rogers does not care and I expect their end game is to get you to quit Teksavvy. Teksavvy support, via Twitter DM, is stellar. If they or you capture signal levels, it helps. Do you have cable TV?

@Rogers worst service ever!! You have been doing planned maintenance since 2pm yesterday and still won’t be up for another 24 hours!! Hundreds of dollars in data charges because I work from home. You’ll likely offer a low $ credit. I’m out!! I need a reliable connection!

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Similar happened to me years ago but w/ Videotron. We'd lose internet out of nowhere for sometimes hours at a time. After years of frustrating calls w them & a new modem, we finally got a tech who wasn't lazy & changed the exterior cable. Problem solved. Good luck.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I had this problem. TS sent a Rogers tech. Rogers tech said line is fine it’s TS. After weeks is this TS finally replaced our TekSavvy Hitron modem. Problem solved.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Unless you are splitting the cable, your signal might be too strong. Rogers has had to come on sight twice to REDUCE the strength the signal at my modem. Measure your levels. TS can talk you through it via DM.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I'm currently trying to get them to come and fix their hack job from the winter. Our back neighbour had their service go out and since they couldn't dig they ran a cable from our box over the ground then over the fence,it's still there! I keep almost hitting it with the lawnmower

Hey @Rogers you would think after the month that you’ve had that your support line would do better than to say “I can’t help” and disconnect with no explanation.
