Hey @Rogers - what the frig is going on with #igniteinternet? Intermittently cutting in and out, and all the customer service rep could tell me is it’s an “issue in the area being worked on” with no ETA 🤨 Is this another national outage, just for internet now?

@RogersHelps Hi BK! I shut down my phone completely last night and this morning it is all back up to normal. Thanks for your response! 👍

  • HommerDH Dhommer (@HommerDH) reported

@globebusiness @globeandmail So @Rogers has plenty of money to reimburse their 10,000,000 clients who were out of service for a whole day. Glad they made money, while so many self employed could not conduct their business.

@TorontoStar I’m at the back of the goddam line for my vaccine thanks to @Rogers. I demand free service for a year as compensation.

  • amtwiter arun mehta (@amtwiter) reported

@Rogers as someone who has worked on critical IT projects, I have questions for rogers: Did you not adequately test SW before going live? Did you not have a backout plan? Do you not have a DRP in place? Cannot understand who you had major outage if you had all the above.

  • cabrenmc1967 B L McPhail (@cabrenmc1967) reported

@Rogers this is nuts. You said you fixed it but this morning it was errors and lost connections again. Thank God I'm moving and switching to Bell

  • annareid1981 Anna Reid (@annareid1981) reported

@RogersHelps I have 2 devices that are still having issues. I have powered them down and reset the network connections.

  • DJennings2012 Dj (@DJennings2012) reported

@rogershelps How are you going to credit ppl with flat rate annual text plans? Not only was sending/receiving an issue. Couldn't receive text codes for two factor authentication to login to bank, cra etc! Some much for trying to be secure.

@RogersHelps When I moved into my house, I paid 4x more than the internet I was getting. I never asked for anything. Now you drop my cell service for over two days, effect my business (I work in healthcare, running covid clinics) and I had to spend the entire day in the dark.
