The @RogersHelps staff went on to say that there was also no choice but to change their phone number (which they have had for 40 years) to align with this new service. This is unacceptable and shameful. I wish to speak live with someone on this matter immediately.

@RogersHelps We were on hold for 2 hours & then Rogers hung up on us before we could speak to anyone. I guess none of the billions they're making is going to customer service.

@Tillwoofie @conreeaght @RogersHelps Best you can do atm is lodge a complaint with the CRTC and try tossing your number on the national DNCL. Otherwise, yeah, only other cheap option is change numbers or carrier. Other options require lawyers and lawsuits which is $$$
