@AboutRogers @Rogers @CWTAwireless COVID 19 has also made it clear that the media is able to scare people into irrational thought and to give up their freedom. I sincerely feel sorry for the 1% that died, with underlying health issues, without receiving medication immediately upon showing symptoms of this flu.

@RogersHelps Another day, another @Rogers outage. RIP my wfh productivity... Or RIP my phone bill from hotspotting.

  • joelpisani1979 Joel Pisani (@joelpisani1979) reported

After 20 years with @Rogers we cancelled & moved to @Bell for TV, Phone & Internet...Rogers raised our bill by $100 a month without notice, the internet & cell service is terrible...the Bell Fibe TV app is unreal...billing app is far more superior...why did we not switch earlier!

@ow @Rogers It's the same **** here in Germany for some carriers (Deutsche Telekom is one of the offenders). Their eSIMs can only be activated once. So if you get a new phone, you have to pay €30,- to get your old eSIM disabled and a new one (a "replacement" SIM).

  • fiede Fiede Schillmoeller (@fiede) reported

@ow @Rogers Only of you think the point of eSim was to improve the customer experience. Personally I think it’s a cost saving effort for Apple and the carriers.

  • ow Owen Williams ⚡ (@ow) reported

@bonq @Rogers Only valid for new customers. Hope you never need to migrate to a new device lol

  • cH40zLord Kai Eichinger (@cH40zLord) reported

@ow @Rogers On the other hand, Vodafone is supposed to allow you to freely transfer them between your phones w/o having to call into their phone hotline or any **** like that. As soon as my contract is up for renewal, I'll go with Vodafone if Deutsche Telekom doesn't get its **** together

  • ow Owen Williams ⚡ (@ow) reported

@fiede @Rogers I think the point of eSIM was mostly to make it easier to support dual-SIM capabilities in phones, portability, and getting rid of all that plastic, but they somehow bungled it and made it worse

  • ZalapskiSmurf Mark Grant (@ZalapskiSmurf) reported
