@RogersHelps We need to understand what happened and how it happened! How a mobile service like @Fidomobile disconnected because of internet cutoff? Unless it’s internet network !?what kind of infrastructure is this? #canadawide #internetdown @ONgov #rogersoutage we need answers!

  • chiebigboi ARCHiE (@chiebigboi) reported

24 hours without service or wifi really ain’t that bad thanks @rogers but you really did **** people over

@madswatth @BryanUgerr @RogersHelps Agreed, but that wasn't my point. I was just trying to answer your technical questions. People should know how 911 and their phone operates before an outage like yesterday's, it's very important.

  • DGCroadguy David C (@DGCroadguy) reported

I am over in the UK right now and pretty much everyone I have spoken to today has mentioned the @Rogers outage. I answer that I know because my Cell Phone was now just an expensive camera with solitaire on it. We made the world news, and not in a good way. (and for good reason)

  • mchammer_skis Michael Collins (@mchammer_skis) reported

@rogers is a tech company whose marketshare & lack of competition make it a utility. Why couldn’t you failover to a backup facility & instead remained down for 12+ hrs? Details need to be made public so we can hold them accountable. A 1 day credit to customers won’t cut it

  • atomsmith Atom Smith (@atomsmith) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Seems like the first thing @Rogers did last night was send out bills to it’s customers. What a horrible customer experience.

  • ohshlebs Shelby 🙃 (@ohshlebs) reported

Finally able to check my bank account after the outage, and @Rogers charged our card for the cell phone bill yesterday lmfao

  • Nicco2288 Nicco Santarossa (@Nicco2288) reported

@RogersHelps I had an interview scheduled yesterday but I never attended because the service I paid for didn’t give me service. It was a competitive electron apprenticeship and I have lost it due to my absence caused by my faulty data and wifi. Lost out on the start of my career. Thanks roger

@YouHadMeAtPinot @cibc @Rogers Cibc was down - even for working ATMs. I called my branch and they told me
