Storm Silvawalker 🇨🇦 (@StormSilvawalk1) reportedJust tried using @Rogers @Starlink for texting in Gatineau Park where cell signal drops out but got nothing. The cell signal dropped as expected but there was no satellite connection for SMS. Is this area not in service due to traffic or something? Pretty disappointed.

CircularLogic (@CircularLogic89) reported@laurenrjacobs @RogersHelps While a regular mobile SIM might work in a Wireless Home Phone device, that would still be using its original mobile plan. If you wished the WHP service, you would need a new SIM dedicated for that service. It isn't possible to change the SIM's service type.

When most of your branding has always been that you guys hire Canadians - you’re looking at one small portion of the problem. When companies aren’t even hiring within the country itself, it makes citizens lose faith.
