@AboutRogers @RogersHelps I believe there is some real lessons learned here! And I think the biggest one is communication with the staff and especially the techs that are trying work on the problem. So I suggest you equip the staff with a reliable back up bell cell phone. The problems will resolve quicker

  • MaryBryton Mary Bryton (@MaryBryton) reported

@RogersHelps Curious what caused the outage, infrastructure or hackers?

  • kylet19 Kyle Thomson (@kylet19) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers Wrong ! U restored Ontario you mean. BC STILL has no data service

  • rumin8z Burtnaked (@rumin8z) reported

@sheilasinghal @NotitiaSophos @Rogers no the best thing to do would be to nationalize all the infrastructure and build in proper redundancies so this **** cant happen and so we dont have to get extorted to connect to the rest of the world

  • shpydar The Shpydar (@shpydar) reported

@jerrybird420 @RogersHelps You are barking up the wrong tree. Rogers doesn't care because they don't have to. Internet/cellular isn't a utility in Canada. Contact your MP and MPP and demand that internet and cellular service be legislated a utility like gas/water/hydro.

@itsajadams @Rogers Because we are a somewhat complacent and compliant bunch and only respond to issues when they hit us in the face.

  • WeenRdogs WeenRdogs (@WeenRdogs) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers Brampton Dixie and Bovaird internet is still down.

  • Idledays_2011 idle days (@Idledays_2011) reported

@RogersHelps Still no home internet service in Richmond Hill, it’s over 24 hours. Very disappointing.

  • gemma_gomba Gemma Gomba (@gemma_gomba) reported

@RogersHelps And how will we have gotten your update when you expected service to be back? NO F*ing way!!!!

  • JoeExotic JOE EXOTIC (@JoeExotic) reported

@birgitomo @Rogers Just order a sim card from the US if its such a nightmare for you. Its not hard. Even Canada Post has non-rogers sim cards you can buy for $20 to make you phone work again. Your problem is not my problem.
