@Grewal2P @RogersHelps You'll get 10 bucks off your bill lol, or whatever 1.5 days prorated is worth on your total monthly bill. The credit should be people's last concern, be more concerned with the vital services (i.e. hospitals, banking, data centres, etc) that went dark because of this outage.

@funlover1999 @RogersHelps If folks understood the scale of what went down at Rogers yesterday you’d be in awe of how quickly they got a majority of customers back online. I work in BCDR and yesterday was borderline miraculous. A needless break, but an inspired fix.

  • JenCluff Jen Cluff (@JenCluff) reported

@RogersHelps Still no service here in London… 27+ hours later…

  • nevada43T Tony pace (@nevada43T) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers It is back on but all of a sudden it is slow, stops and then it is back online again.

  • OmcPicasso Picasso Omc (@OmcPicasso) reported

@janreece @Rogers Probably malicious code inserted in network upgrade ..

  • QueenMaggot230 Queen of Maggots (@QueenMaggot230) reported

@chethosahalli @RogersHelps @Rogers Internet and phone sure. But 911 being down, and interac also? This hurt businesses who use their networks, made any banks on their service basically useless, and I'll be interested to know how many people had emergencies yesterday and couldn't call anyone. But sure no biggie

  • crunchtimebb Tim Blaker (@crunchtimebb) reported

Hey @Rogers ... I don't want to read some bs about failsafes not working. I want an honest and reasonably detailed explanation of what went wrong ... tyvm :-þ

  • H2OLOU Lewis A Bursey (@H2OLOU) reported

@stopthetelusph @FictionalDiary @RogersHelps BGP is a mechanism to exchange routing information between networks on the Internet. The big routers that make the Internet work have huge, constantly updated lists of the possible routes that can be used to deliver each network packet to its final destination.
