@jasonwagar @Rogers @Google What can you do? Bell's fastest service in my area is 50MBPS and costs $95 month. Any other cable provider will use Rogers' infrastructure, and I'll just have to get them to call a Rogers maintenance guy bc the problem will still be there. Duopoly nightmare.

@jasonwagar @Rogers @Google Wild. I'm in Cambridge and I upgraded to Ignite (500 MBPS) to try and see if that would avoid my problems (frequent, brief service disconnects). It didn't work. Bell has no Fibe service here, so I have no other truly high-speed options.

@jasonwagar @Rogers @Google But I got Rogers to comp me for my Ignite service for all the time it hasn't been working properly (months). But still no signs of the maintenance work to fix the ground fault. So we have to tether on our Freedom Mobile phones for important Zoom stuff.

@JeremyJohnstonK @Rogers Man alive. Rogers just told me their residential service wasn’t “strong enough” to support Zoom, so I should pay more for a business line. Then told me their service was not compatible with @Google Wifi mesh networks.

@JeremyJohnstonK @Rogers @Google Yeah. I was with Teksavvy for a long time and very happy with them, until there were area issues (with the Rogers infrastructure). Rogers saw that I was a Teksavvy customer so put the tech call for my house at the bottom of the list, and postponed it many times.

@RogersHelps On the phone with a service rep and they’re telling me I’ll be without internet for the next 2 hours. This is absolutely terrible. Gonna start shopping around for another service provider in my area
