@cdgoldstein Yeah, I couldn't make it work on my Samsung TV (purchased January 2020) when I tried Monday. @SamsungTV @MLB The MLB app works perfectly on ROKU.

@KimberlyMarie50 I got YouTube tv. I love it. About half the cost of cable. It has everything that cable had. Because my tv is sort of old, I have a roku device to make it all work.

@s_fabricant @Mike_Fabricant @Roku Actually it isn't. Roku isn't majority owned by the Roberts' Comcast (owners of Sky) or the Murdochs' Fox Corporation - indeed the latter divested all their minority share ownership in Roku to help fund their outright acquisition of Tubi last spring.

I can now stream on TV! How did I fix my Chromecast problem you ask? Simple, I sent it back and exchanged it for a Roku (which I hadn't heard of, so thank you to a friendly Dragon on Twitter for the heads up). 15 minutes after I started, Roku is all set up and running smoothly.

@cdgoldstein Even if you bought it in 2017-2018, it could still reasonably be a 2016. It's so dumb. If you add a roku/firestick/chromecast/whatever, it should still work (but I know the whole point of a smarttv is to NOT have to add that stuff)

@RokuSupport Could someone look into any possible changes to the global search? Provider watch options for movies are now missing for Apple TV (no results show) as well as some missing for Google Play. This seems to be an issue on Roku’s search side.

@Mike_Fabricant @Roku Really needs to be. Roku is fantastic and has huge reach. Would help them grow audience base. @BritBox_UK is really missing a trick not being on there. I can only watch it through my Samsung smart TV app in the living room, but not on my other two Roku-connected TVs.

@hulu_support I just bought the Roku Ultra today and the issues are still present was using the basic stick. Subtitles are behind or just not present. Sometimes the mouths don't sinc with the words. Other times it goes from the episode being watched to a random part of another episode

@FOXNOW App on @Roku freezes several times during playback. Freeze of both video & audio lasts about 5 seconds. Happens on any show I watch. Uninstalled/Reinstalled, did not help.
