@GetSpectrum just curious now that you all have this dispute with Roku and didn’t have the decency to let your customers know that you will now longer have the app on said TVs, do you think it’s a matter of time before people decide to switch carriers. Terrible company

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround? Is there a way for me to upload logs to you? if the issue can't be fixed I will have to return and go back to the 2019 Roku ultra that does not have this issue.

@MpofuBukhosi You could buy a device like a Roku. Or a chromecast. Or a An Android TV box that could help you to use the Internet and watch your TV. They all plug into your HDMi port

@Popher @netflix I hate smart TVs, the OS always dies after a few years of updates. Not a fix to your current problem, but I'd recommend a Roku or something and just use the TV on HDMI

But people like myself saw it in the theater, I don't think HBO Max had had anything this big yet and I hope they're ready for it. (Especially as they branch out to Roku and work on foreign markets, increasing viewer count)

@neilcybart @chuq I think of 3 tiers: Low end (steaming video - Roku, Chromecast, Apple TV app) Middle point (quality video, some games - AppleTV 4K) High end (Triple-A games - Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo) I think Apple wants to be the way Apple users watch video and sometimes play games.

Why the hell can I not watch @Showtime on both of my TVs? They are both signed into my @Roku account where my Showtime subscription is linked. When I sign in on my bedroom TV it says that I don’t have an active subscription?

@AlphaNeutral @waltmossberg I have to say, I’ve tried Roku a few times, and each time I can’t stand it’s UI and switch away. Yes, it does work, but it just doesn’t look good on the screen when you’re not watching content.

@PriyaAravindan Roku is not officially supported in India, so don't think it'll work out of the box with full functionality. Not sure, but from what I read previously, some apps work, some don't.
