@a220_angela Sling will work with Roku... and good wifi signal.. Sling is fine .. and once u switch get rid of cable or satellite dish

@tmgoodwin @hulu Same issue for me with Hulu on a Roku. Just scrolling down the app, all works fine, then at the Pride bar it kicks me out of the app completely. Tried multiple times, no go beyond that point.

With the removal of GPIO and the fact that I'm mostly using Roku instead of Chromecast which it doesn't seem to work with, I think I no longer have a use for Home Assistant. I can throw together something in FastAPI to replace the few things I'm still using.

@stephenjudkins @mtsw If you have an ext device (roku, Apple TV, fire stick) I would give it a shot on that tv. Hard to tell from your shot, but it does look like a trickier scene for compression. But generally decent quality compression will do better than this. @troy_s may also have some thoughts.

Are Samsung TVs the worst or what? Ours is laggy and it irritates me to no end! I thought my little cheap Roku tv was bad but man it’s my favorite now.

@dogtv so the service is 👌 when it works, but boy does the Roku app like to fail all over the place. Error code -5 after videos frequently, or autoplay timers that count down to the next video... and then continue counting down well into infinity on the same video. 😥

@YouTubeTV Been having really bad audio out of sync issues for over a week now. It’s getting so bad it’s becoming almost unwatchable! It seems to be more noticeable when I’m watching recordings. The issue is the same on a Google Chromecast or Roku unit. I have reset both of them.

@hulu_support I am having this problem on my roku. It will let me go into the Home Screen and scroll down to the continue watching section. At this point it closes the app completely. Thanks.

@MacRumors @julipuli The Xfinity Stream app for Roku only works on your home Xfinity wifi. It doesn't work when you travel. Is this AppleTV app the same way?

@TVMoJoe Have you tried the Apple version of the app yet? I use it on my Roku Ultra and best picture quality for years has been 720p. If the Apple TV version is better I will go get an Apple TV
