@SpotifyCares hello! I have an error message for you. On Roku I'm getting: { error: { status: 503 message: "Service Unavailable" } } It also wouldn't play from an Alexa routine this morning. iPhone and Mac desktop apps are both fine!

(For the record, lint-for-brains @Amazon, that's the Roku login, the Amazon login, and the email account I used for the Amazon account login. Maybe you'll want to me to sign into Facebook, too? Or, hey, how about you require a GeoCities account as well? That'd be on-brand.)

@PeripheralObse1 Idk about Netflix but I was delighted to find that most apps during my Roku setup (finally cut the Amazon/fire cord) has a qr code for me to scan with my phone and login there.

I don't keep every email account on my phone, and since I practice good security, it's a 16-character string of gibberish stored in a PW manager on my PC. Why the hell, lint-for-brains @Amazon, do I need a secondary login when I've put in the Roku PW and the Amazon PW and... /3

@IndieGamerChick @WatchNebula My biggest issue with it is the lack of an app for my Roku. My wife and I like watching the content, but streaming it over a Chromecast doesn't seem to work very well.

@StuckInTheIV I mean, I have the Xbox which would work, but that would limit me to one tv....I have roku's on all of my tv's... So it's a real first world problem situation.

@OAWL is there an issue at the ports this morning- my roku YouTube keeps cutting off and often reloading to the point it’s hiccups only then silence- I don’t watch regular tv that much so oawl is my only outside connection due to Covid

@mychiller The Pluto TV app for Roku was fixed. When opening the app the Pluto TV logo animation was very slow to play and the app menu was not working. They replaced animated logo with a static logo and the menu is working.

@actioncookbook I hate smart tvs too, but have a TCL Roku and it is not as bad. Though the quality from some apps not as good as using 4k Chromecast or apple tv.

@smallestslime Trying to find things online. Found one person so far that had the same issue but didnt list how they fixed it. One comment said that this happens to them on thier roku tv sometimes and all they have to do is "go in and reset their tv"?

@chelleinchicago @Roku I can't tell you the hours I've spent getting the computers to display well on the TV. It's a slightly old TV so it wants tweaks. Drives my family crazy. First world problems.

I wonder how many more deals HBO Max will close before they finish their $Roku deal. Seems like they want to delay it as long as they can to force Roku to accept their terms. I doubt their strategy will work. HBO needs the distribution scale to make their movie deal work.

@ckenst @andy_hird @techgirl1908 Amazon had been prompting me to login to Prime Video again every couple of weeks. I just replaced my last FireTV with Roku because FireTV became an awful slow mess... and the last one I purchased didn't function and came with an exploding battery.

@dkatzmaier @eliblumenthal I want Firestick to get VUDU!! I have a Roku Ultra for living room, and two TCL Roku TVs specifically for VUDU, but I now use Firestick for just about everything else. I think AVR doesn't handle Roku that well which causes issues. It's an Onkyo 9.1.2.
