@nflnetwork I’m not a fan of the changes you made to the Roku channel this year. The interface is awkward and the sound is always terrible. I’d like to talk with someone about a refund.

@Onikuno I'm using a Roku. The app is very bad at subtitles (it uses the captions track for them) but since I'm watching the dub it isn't an issue.

@STARZ FYI... Your roku app sucks!! And your tech support. For months I've had the issue that in the starz roku app, the main feature I try to watch won't have sound, but the previews do. I've reached out to your tech support multiple times and I get nothing in return.

@Netflixhelps Nope I'm good. Had to turn off show password for it to work. You have a bug in your roku app when show password is on and a password contains special characters.

@LexG_III You have a smart tv right? Would a power cycle do anything? I've had this problem with apps on Roku before, namely Shudder. Usually just a soft reboot of the device fixes streaming quality for me

I think I am finally going to cancel @Xfinity. After calling many times for a cable issue and having a technician out, still doesn’t work. 8 weeks of frustration. Every time I call, they try to upsell me. One of their solutions was to just use the roku app! What terrible service

@AmazonHelp So it was an issue with the Amazon app - it was showing me Danish subtitles, which looks like German but are first alphabetically. The big question is, why doesn’t the app use the subtitle facilities built into the Roku platform?

@disneyplus I have followed every troubleshooting step (e.g. changed formats, languages, reboot, uninstall/reinstall) but the subtitles/captions will not appear on my Roku. Please fix for the hard of hearing!

the only streaming channel that works decently for us is Netflix. Why would that work well, and all the rest of them have major buffering, stopping, etc. issues? Using a roku. Our TV isn't smart. Should we get a new TV or a better router?

@LouisPeitzman That’s so frustrating! Mine is pretty new but I’ve never encountered issues with it or with my mom’s Roku that weren’t directly caused by wifi/internet issues. Is your internet connection solid otherwise? (Also the future sucks hard, in 4k.)

Hey @YouTube! Your Roku [web]app is STILL forcing my top-tier TV to reboot at least once a day when it decides it doesn't wanna play videos anymore...it's one f'ing job! Your app is the only one causing me this headache, so...um...fix it already!
