@WalkingDead_AMC I cant wait for the last half of this season(11) to come out somewhere. AMC messed up my Roku reception of TWD, and I had seen all but three of the debuts of every episode. No spoilers please.I have seen up to S11E08, dying for a dead fix!!

@Lefty_Jew The plex app in built in tvs doesn't always work so well. Unfortunately you might have to get an external device like a fire stick, apple tv, roku etc

@hbomax Could you guys fix the subtitles on Rothaniel? The timing is way off, at least on my Roku app, and he definitely says "jar full of nickles," at one point, not, "jar full of *******."

@RokuSupport since the most recent update, I can’t get close captioning to work on any streaming service. I have it set up in Roku settings and turned on for every streaming service.. it doesn’t work at all 😭 Please help fix this!

@mmpadellan I cut the cable cord. I can get tons of stuff streaming on ROKU. I get my MSNBC fix by SiriusXM in my car and therefore on all my devices.

@aagave I’m a broken record on this but every analysis ALSO misses that they don’t have to offer an ad tier to sell ads. They can create & distribute a ‘Netflix Channel’ to Samsung TV Plus, Roku Channel, Vizio Watch Free, Pluto, etc. Why not? Sell ads, promote Netflix, 0 cannibalization.

Ever since I switched to @hulu live everything freezes constantly 😖 I was told it’s because I use @amazon fire stick! So I really have to go buy a @Roku just to get it to work right!?

@hulu You might want to have your techs check for audio issues. On multiple TVs in our house, Hulu’s volume is fine when loading the app through Roku, but it’s barely audible when loaded through the Fire stick.

@Roku I can’t get any help from the website. But the captions won’t stay on. I have to change from “never” to “always” with every new show on every channel. System setting has it as “always.” Can someone please look at this bug already?

@Lefty_Jew Omg I had the exact same issue. The Tizen OS client (that comes with Samsung smart TVs) is apparently very poorly optimised. I fixed it by running an ethernet cable from my TV to my router. If that doesn't work I'd suggest getting a Roku/fire stick or something else to run Plex

@ascarborough I have the same issue on my appleTV, but not on my Roku. Grab one of those… cheap and effective and they make portable model you can take on the road and connect to hotel TV’s easily.

"Kickboxer" (1989) Roku - Silly and awesome, but also some of the worst acting. 3/5 "The Bubble" (2022) Netflix - Thought it started off well enough, but the jokes started to lose steam before the first act completed, and then the movie tacks on another hour plus. 1.5/5

@HBOMaxHelp Thanks for the quick response! On both the website on my computer & the Roku app, the subtitles start 7 sec. after he starts speaking. If that discrepancy is fixed, that would solve much of the problem. But, there are many points where the subtitles don't match what he's saying.
