Anyways, Tyler & I looked all over for our tv remote for an hour!.Then he said “I wonder if there’s a Roku remote app” *****.. talk about life savor. I can work my tv from my phone. Love/hate relationship with technology. If I misplace my phone now, well then I’m really ******.

@MrazCBS Blame your TV. The LG "smart TV software" always seems to have problems staying on Wifi. I stopped using mine and bought a Roku. Works fine as just a TV though ;)

@DisneyPlusHelp Already tried everything. It seems to not be working on Android devices. Won't work on Firestick or Android phones but works on iPhone, Roku & Play Station which is how we ended up watching it.

@ScottWalker11 We had so much trouble with the firestick it was unbelievable. It couldn't connect to anything without crashing, Prime etc. We've had few issues with Roku. You might get the occasional internet blip but apart from that, access Prime, Netflix, BBC, ITV other apps

Just signed up for @peacock and immediately it freezes, reboots and even crashes my Roku. Haven't made it to a single show. The ONLY app I've ever installed that does this. Apparently this has been an issue for over a year if Reddit is any indication. Not impressed so far, @nbc

@CBS Could you PLEASE fix the Roku CBS app. It does not load. At all. Emails go unanswered. Google CBS APP ROKU and you'll see that this is a problem.

@NotTheWoz_ @StaticAndSilent So because copyright is a joke, since the “skin” is very clearly Goku but the name is Roku even though both of those things are trademarked/copyrighted material it would be an issue if the “skin” was you playing as a Roku remote. It’s weird and dumb but that’s just how it is.

@Mike_Salz4 Making some simple changes can help you ditch cable. Get either a Roku TV, Roku streaming stick or Firestick. The streaming sticks are <$50. If you don’t have an HDMI cable, pick one up as well. Hulu is $8.99/Mo. They offer live tv as well for like $5 more. DL network feeds free.

I was so excited because my work schedule changed so I would have been to watch ALL of the Caps games until I saw NHL Live changed to SN Now and I have a Roku WHICH ISNT COMPATIBLE WITH IT. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

@NaturalParadigm it's actually an average service, at least in Brazil is expensive and not so practical to watch on TV without buying a chrome cast or roku, there is still the issue of subtitles in languages other than english, french and spanish

@Roku @PlutoTV has been a fairly good (free) streaming service. No login, no sign up, just turn it on & go. Most content isn't brand new, but many people will find a channel that they can't turn off.

Well, my Roku Express+, which was a replacement for my previous Roku Express+, just decided to stop responding to it's remote tonight and I can’t replace it, so I’m just buying a Roku Ultra! Hopefully it will work for several years. Glad I am working so I can afford this. Dammit.
