I've learned with my TCL Roku TV, if it won't open one of the TV's own apps, like its PlutoTV app, the best thing to do is go into the TV's System part of the menu & restart the TV. Note I said restart, not reset. These things are computers, restarting often fixes the problem.

@Roku @RokuSupport shame on you. A lot of have this known black screen for the 65 inch tv. This is needs to be fixed. You need to do something about this issue.

@shaneloux I think the problem is that a requested number that's not currently worn can be rejected, as it's retired. A player that makes it to the Giants can't pick 24 anymore. The number choices get smaller and smaller. (Some may want 86, as it's the Toyota Hachi Roku car by the way.)

So I’m having trouble watching movies from @hbomax on my @Roku all of a sudden. I’ve restarted the Roku and checked for updates on both that and HBO Max app. I hear sound UNTIL I start the movie, then no sound. Anyone else having these issues?

Missing the remote to adjust the volume on the TV and the Roku remote doesn’t have a volume button so: - downloaded a Roku remote app - volume controls still don’t work - but button to switch to headphones did - connected to Bluetooth speaker with volume control
