@advicepig @BettyTiselj @natepentz Can I go one more and wonder why cable boxes need to exist at all… still haven’t gotten mine to work. Bought a Roku & it let me easily add channels from my cable account. So why the difficult cable box at all… (other than my bldg’s channel that shows if the mail is in today)

@paramountplus @Nickelodeon Day 5 or so of the platform not working on any smart tv’s. Already did everything Roku suggested. Even tried my other tv’s and reset network settings. You know what else wasn’t working ? The cancel membership button. Funny how that works

@jackfromacworth @C6E_MUSIC @SECNetwork If you have a subscription (any sort of cable stream or what not) you can log onto the espn app on your smart tv or Roku/steaming stick goto eapn app and it will let you sign in with your provider and you will be able to watch the game no extra service required

@DLarryHoffman I wonder if the Proton VPN would be suitable temporarily. It's free and it's not like you would be using it all over the Internet for risky places. Sure wish I could help. I use the CBS app on my Roku. Everyone thinks they need all access and they do for some shows but not soaps.

@peacockTV How do you turn off the previews from playing while you're searching for content? The app is so worried about playing them that it slows down the whole experience and eventually causes the app to crash back to the Roku main menu repeatedly

@HBOMaxHelp I can’t watch House of the Dragon on my Roku TV but it works fine on my iPad. What gives? Other shows work fine on the TV. HotD is the only show with the issue.

@ntroeste Not a solution to the existential issue here, but the Roku remote app works pretty well. I will never admit that I downloaded it one day when the dog was sleeping on the remote and I wanted to change the channel without disturbing his precious slumber.

Also, @Roku When trying to trouble shoot these issues, having settings and menus right at the bottom of endless suggestions of what to watch is infuriating! Especially when some of those suggestions are from the channel in question. Can we have functionality at the top please!

@Roku If ya'll could get your devices to keep up with lip sync and maybe not crash so much, I might consider buying. I've been a loyal customer for many years but I'm tired of the issues.

@FreewheelinCW @Fierce__Video But I think the real benefit to Roku is that when you close out an app on Roku, it actually closes out the app. I have a lot of problems on Android TV that require a force stop on some apps that misbehave, and that involves going through settings, menus, etc.

@GameSack @MetalJesusRocks @RetroRGB I’ve never come across a issue where I run out of storage, I have though on Roku where apps unload and need to re-download when launched. —just my experiences, not being an Apple fanboy or anything…I use BOTH Apple TV and Roku. (Google Chromecast 2 is also AWESOME)

Tried to watch Cobra Kai last night but after every 30 seconds, the Netflix app would crash on my @Roku and I’d have to start it again just for it to do it again. Anyone else struggling with their Netflix app on the Roku?
