@YouTubeTV I just received a message from @Roku telling me that I may lose access to the YouTubeTV channel soon. This is not acceptable. I only stream on Roku. If the channel is removed, I will be forced to cancel my subscription. Please work this out -Both companies!!!!!

@kaludiasays Normally I find it's just a new update that made things wonky and I have to wait till they fix it but my fire tv also has a problem with not utilizing HDR all the time like Roku and my PS do. There's always something 🙄

@NickatFP Here's the problem- LG OLED clearly has the best picture tech, but LG's app store sucks. Samsung has worse picture tech, but you don't need Roku because they have everything in the app store. If LG fixed their apps they could crush Samsung.

@WeThePeople_20 Because mine comes built into the TV and Amazon is evil. Going to be blunt; all the major corps are for some reason or another. Apple is good with data, afaik, but awful about planned obsolescence. Google is, well, google evil. But not facebook evil. Roku just... Kinda exists

@ericgarland Roku sent notice to users this AM, saying that negotions have broken down with Google (RE YouTubeTV). Something to do with Google wanting to track user search results.

So @Roku has had carriage disputes with HBO, Peacock, Spectrum, AT&T TV and now Google over YouTube TV. At some point you must accept the Roku is the problem. I have one Roku left but not for long.

@jason_a_w Sling is fine, I've used it on and off to get cable news. It works on Roku and Chromecast, plus you can use your login credentials to get any major news network on your computer browser too. I just turn it off in slower news months to save money, very easy to reinstate.
