Again, I’ve noticed Australians generally purchase their TV’s based on tv quality rather than operating system. I’ve never once heard anyone mention the quality of the operating system. Maybe Roku will change

@TeamYouTube I am using the HBO Max app on my Roku device. I sign in using my TV Provider..which is you. I have no issues with any app but HBO Max. Have had issues for the past four months. Contact YTTV support, fixed the issue for 30-days, and issues ever since.

@brewskidude Hmmm I'll have to check my Paramount+ later on my Roku and see if I'm having issues. Sometimes it helps to delete app and readd it. You tried from a phone to see of the app does same on your WiFi or the cell network?

@HBOMaxHelp Thanks for the social customer care. I have an LG smart TV equipped with Roku. No error message pops up. The program will simply freeze and then the entitle tv turns off and restarts.

@ohsonatural_me So for some reason the only apps that work on my Samsung tv are Netflix and hulu. I think that’s a tv issue. Every app works on my Roku tv just fine.

@ChristianSelig @ess0h To be fair, Funimation seems to crash on everything, at least in my experience. Roku, PS3, PS4, Xbone, PC using Chrome, Firefox (less so), and Edge. I just gave up on Funimation after trying to have any kind of usable experience over the last decade.

I love @Shudder but holy mother of god if it keeps logging me out *everyday* and then saying my password is wrong and then requiring me to delete the channel (via @Roku) and reinstall it—again, everyday—we could have a problem.

Folks, @Sling @airtv @AirTVhelp Sling app constantly hangs when watching local channels using AirTv on Roku. The local channels streams for 3 sec and goes black, even the back key doesn't work and I gave go back the roku home screen.

@hulu_support That’s the issue. I have a Hulu no ad account already, a Disney plus subscription through Roku, HBO Max through Comcast. Like what do I cancel? Where do I cancel it? How?!?!? You have to explain it like I’m 5.

If I got a new tv tomorrow and had to download every app and do forgot password for every login I created the last 5 years I’d just drive off a cliff

My concern though would be you’re not only betting on OS but you’re betting on they tv partners to continue to provide high quality TV’s which in a way is out of Roku’s hands. Good luck though, obviously the market can see something That I may have missed.
