  • JudgeDredgen Gary Wilson (@JudgeDredgen) reported

@Roku the worst TV ever do not buy, if you unplug the TV you need to re activate it all over again, the process is not user friendly and is lazy, fix your **** @roku

  • JEdyPhillips J.E. Phillips (@JEdyPhillips) reported

Today I have watched the #NFLonPrime on a Roku, a tablet and a PS4.. with the same quality as a regular game on TV.. so all those complaining should.. pay for better internet service, change providers or change equipment.. this time their whining is misdirected #SorryNotSorry

  • DJVANTEE Brian Christie (@DJVANTEE) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Same as everyone else. Have a newer Roku 65”. Signal is strong, other movies work great, restarted WiFi, restarted TV and network settings, but movie is choppy. Can’t watch it. When will the update happen???

  • dieyuppiescum91 Troy Rison (@dieyuppiescum91) reported

@DougKyed I've had no issues whatsoever with video quality streaming on my Roku. Probably a lot depending on device, app version, and internet connection.

  • starr_d Doris (@starr_d) reported

@RokuSupport I'm having a terrible time with the HBO Max channel. Won't load properly and kicks me back to Roku home screen. Any suggestions?

  • VanderTweets Ryan VanderYacht (@VanderTweets) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Hi, I need help. I am trying to stream Wonder Woman 1984 through the app on my TCL Roku TV (TCL model 55R625). The sound is fine, but the picture seems to be skipping frames (very choppy). Can you help? Other programming on the app looks fine.

  • LoyalKingsFan80 Scott M. Colón (@LoyalKingsFan80) reported

@richarddeitsch Watched the 4th quarter via Amazon Prime on my Roku TV, no issues whatsoever.

  • HouieaLOVE Houiea Love (@HouieaLOVE) reported

@AmazonHelp If it's not the janky remote, it's the unresponsiveness of the actual device. I unplugged it and plugged it in again to get that thang working in the first place. I do not have these problems with @Roku

  • dave_myron Dave Myron (@dave_myron) reported

Damn... And then a privacy policy after that? Looks to be another four minutes of scrolling on @Roku. Fix it, @hbomax !

  • melys001 MJHH (@melys001) reported

@jdobbsrosa @AmazonHelp Just got off of the chat with Amazon, apparently only the latest Roku devices are supported. If yours is like mine and a few years old it won’t work.

  • MunoStarchaser Daddy Always Loses (@MunoStarchaser) reported

@hbomax is working poorly on our TCL Roku TV. WW84 looks like a video game running at too few frames per second. Tried the standard troubleshooting (update, restart, reinstall), and it didn’t help. Confirmed it is an HBO Max problem; Captain Marvel plays fine on Disney+.

  • BradHound 🎄🎅 Santa BradHound Claus! 🎅🎄 (@BradHound) reported from Everett, Massachusetts

Finally....I already set up my new Roku Ultra 2020. My old Roku Ultra is 4 years old cuz of slow process and old remote control "ok" button was not working. *Tosses an old one out* 👍🙌

  • abhivm Abhi Muthiyan (@abhivm) reported

Roku TV is having trouble streaming #WonderWoman1984 It took several minutes to start and now it has severe lagging @HBOMaxHelp Chromecast video is 480p!

  • mattankerich Matt Ankerich (@mattankerich) reported

@hbomax We’ve spent the last 40 minutes trying to slowly enter a roku pass. Simply awful.

  • brianmckim Brian McKim (@brianmckim) reported

@Scorpio1080 The Roku remote is pretty awful. Especially when it comes to controlling the volume. So the Roku remote app makes life much easier.

  • danlefeb Dan LeFebvre (@danlefeb) reported

Why is it that @Netflix was one of the first major streaming services and they seem to be the only one that still requires typing out my full user/pass on Xbox, PS4, Roku, etc? Every other service has simplified sign in using my phone/computer using a code.

  • VishalAnand Vishal Anand (@VishalAnand) reported from Bellevue, Washington

@jasonkilar Great move removing movie release windows 👍 #WW84 First world problem - but audio was two channel instead of Dolby. TV, xfinity, roku all 4K. Lot of people complaining on interwebs.

  • pikopoki Tommy Lee (@pikopoki) reported

@GalGadot The truth is @hbomax sucks and needs to fix their @Roku app so I can actually enjoy this movie

  • axxll Steven Rosenberg (@axxll) reported

@HBOMaxHelp @DK_TheNextEp @hbomax Trying to watch #WonderWoman1984 Frame quality horrendous on ROKU. What’s the deal? Not ready for prime time?

  • augieray Augie Ray (@augieray) reported

Sometimes devices work together in ways surprising & creepy. I was watching a movie on my TV via Chromecast/HBO app on my Android. I absentmindedly hit pause on my Roku remote, and it paused the movie, then automatically installed the HBO Max app on my Roku device. Weird.

  • chrisaroz Chris Moroz (@chrisaroz) reported

Just paid $15 for @hbomax on @Roku as the quality is so choppy it’s unwatchable.

  • joshcochrane Josh Cochrane (@joshcochrane) reported

@HBOMaxHelp @MovieCrazeYT Having the same trouble. TCL Roku TV with gigabit fiber.

  • ChadWittman Chad Wittman (@ChadWittman) reported

How does the above passage read? A new Roku can successfully download the Spectrum TV app if you signin with an account that already uses the app.

  • NiggsyIsABore C.A.R. (@NiggsyIsABore) reported

@VimeoStaff Activation code for my Roku tv won't work, I've tried multiple times. It says "oops" and something about not enough information and to try again. So I can't log in and watch my Christmas concert. :(

  • ElCheGuevaVerga ElCheGueva (@ElCheGuevaVerga) reported

@hbomax Using my roku device and the WW movie is not working!!

  • MBThompson12 Matt Thompson (@MBThompson12) reported

Avoid @hbomax. Unwatchable on my @Roku device due to dropped frames and logging in on other devices as a workaround isn't working either since the apps won't accept my login information. Plus, I was charged a month's subscription despite trying to cancel 20 minutes later.

  • XxstarsxX5 ya like jazz? 😜 merry christmas (@XxstarsxX5) reported

Someone help pls. Ok so if u have a Roku tv can u put google/chrome or safari or other search kind of sites on it???

  • MorongJeremy Jeremy Morong (@MorongJeremy) reported

HBO Max has a lousy app, a lousy website, and doesn't work with Firestick or Roku. Otherwise, flawless.
