Sigh. I think the YT Roku channel just might be broken for good for me. It's been a long and weird journey this past year or two since things went weird and never once corrected themselves. They only got worse.

Thru the roku so I guess the roku is having trouble playing the audio from that then...hmmm idk how to fix it but it doesn't seem to be happening when I watch crunchyroll trhu the roku...I'll have to see if it does with Netflix or Hulu

Weird: The Al Yankovic Movie is a very fun movie where it’s biggest issue is still that Roku somehow grabbed the rights to it and you have to watch it with ads. Think it ended up being 8 minutes total of ads, but some breaks were longer than others and all louder than the movie.

@RokuSupport The issue is that your mobile app doesn't support Chromecast. My smart TV doesn't have access to the Roku app, but my phone does. But your app doesn't support chromecast. Neither does the website. And using chromes built in screen cast for the tab is laggy and choppy.

@cxptainjaneway I wish their app worked in general. I have a Roku solely bc I couldn’t get their app to work on my TV. It’s still crap. The other week, I was watching LD & on one ep, it’d only play sound, no video. Went back, restarted, etc…eventually just watched something else on another svc.

Haha I got a new TV bc I thought something was wrong with the speakers in my old one bur now this brand new TV is doing the same thing...I'm using the same roku I used before so I am guessing the problem is with the roku's audio then...it's only happening when I stream xfinity

@QuandaryMan Out of curiosity, how old is the Roku? Only ask as my oldest one will work for like 30 minutes before it stalls, but not a problem with newer ones. I'm GUESSING it's trying to squeeze high rez videos through stuff meant for 1080 at best, but obviously not sure.

Great paying for an annual subscription for @BallySportsSW and getting an error "no valid bitrates" on my Roku every time the Mavs game hits a commercial. Hardwired + 500/300 fiber.
