@philsteele1 I know lots have said already Phil, but can genuinely be any o e of loads of possible reasons. For example, for us, when trying on an older Roku box, the quality was very poor, but with everything else identical, (hdmi, ethernet & tv), an xbox one gave a perfect image.

@foxsports you sure did make it difficult to watch this fight if you don't have a Roku or apple TV. I can't watch it on my LG Tv, my ps4 or ps5 and every time I use my Ipad there's an error. Guess I gotta be that guy and ask for a refund. #SpencevsGarcia

I just spent 15 min trying to help my mom plug the Roku I gave her into her tv. We both gave up and it's still not plugged in. I know she has at least 2 HDMI ports but "it won't fit anywhere David" 🤷🤦

The built-in apps on Samsung TVs are TERRIBLE. I bought a Roku stick today and it is night and day better for all streaming, especially Sling. I don’t think I’ll be buying a Samsung again.

@alex_abads @davidmackau It’s integrations with roku etc are terrible. Try watching HBO Max with a chrome cast. Near impossible.

@Brooklyn__Girl I have Roku tv and Fubo tv, and I couldn't even get the apps to work on NewsMax or get on Fox because so many people are trying to watch. I finally got it on a special stream that Roku is actually carrying tonight

@RokuSupport Lately, my Pluto TV on Roku keeps randomly blacking out for several seconds, and than coming back. It is annoying as hell. Is there a fix for this?

@Sassy_Wino_ Oh for sure. On top of questionable image, the software experience on our Samsung has been AWFUL compared to our LGs, Insignia (Amazon), TCL (Roku), and everything else. Our LGs cost 1/4 as much but are so much nicer to use. We're dead-set on an LG OLED next year.

Surprising to me that Netflix doesn't give you the option to "Sign in on your Computer" for their Roku app and instead requires you to enter your password manually via remote. Apple, Hulu and HBO all had smoother sign in schemes.

@foxonabox_ Oh nice. I haven’t done that yet via app. And the volume button on the remote is broken. But I really enjoy the feature when my wife wants to go to bed and I don’t. Dont know if you know. Roku started out as Netflix box but then got split out so they would have broader appeal.

Was about to start watching Black Christmas (2006) while tree decorating but realized I don't have it to stream & DVD doesn't work for the screen we have now... But I did manage to kind of click "Jingle Bells" with the Roku remote while checking @Shudder so there's that.

@RokuSupport I am having problems with the remotes for my Roku devices. The volume control is unresponsive on both. I have changed the batteries in both and it didn't resolve. It sometimes becomes unresponsive pushing other buttons too.
