@Vimeo why'd you stop supporting the Roku? Super annoying to have a whole list of videos saved and be unable to watch them because I can't sign in on Roku. Guess I'll just stick to YouTube henceforth

@AznWeng Great find! I think Roku has the leverage to pull this off now, Netflix for eg. has to be on Roku otherwise it would take a big revenue hit and allow a competitor like FireTV to gain market share which restarts the problem. Content providers have already been commoditized imo

@somilagrawal @benedictevans I ran into this issue because they don't have the YT kids app on Roku. So I thought I could use a normal YouTube account with the kids control thing benedict mentions. But of course it doesn't work.

Somehow my HBOMax account got disconnected from my AT&T account and my Roku and my life. The ten minutes it took to fix were so annoying that I'm now mad at TV and don't want to watch anything out of spite.

@cnn your #roku app isn't working anymore. When you need to sign in and reactivate it won't let you. It's been hella glitchy on my boxes at home for a few days now @RokuSupport

@WSBMonk @AMCTheatres who does that? expect people to watch on your phone? roku cuts out the UHD quality, even its hd model. i paid a lot for my UHD tv, i shouldnt need a roku or any plugin device. my new samsung smart tv has 1000s of apps. just not amc theatres app.

First point of frustration with the @oculus quest 2: I can't stream directly to @Roku (it supports miracast screen mirror and airplay, but doesn't show up in oculus). I did get streaming through tablet to work, but that's less than ideal. Maybe need to get out old Chromecast...

@JPaquetteNY Didn't really fix the issue. So, I plugged in the Roku and it works like a charm again. Have yet to own a Smart TV that doesn't have that horrible lag. Gotta be a connection issue with WiFi.

I got an #AppleTV today to replace my #Roku and suddenly all the shows actually work on all the channels. Funny how tech reviews don’t mention that Roku fails so much.

@burstahurst it's not the Apple TV. I have zero streaming issues on every other app, even other sports apps. Just ESPN (and I've used Roku before, didn't care much for the UI)

My hisense R8 roku TV looses wifi connection around midnight for about 90 minutes for the past week, all my other devices are still connected, wifi working fine, reset factory settings but no help. The tvs do not even see my wifi address.

@MuseZack @PlutoTV I’m not seeing any problems on my devices. But I’ll pass along your issue to our tech team. In the meantime if you have a Roku or Apple TV you could try us there, or any tablet. Sorry it’s causing you trouble.

@armsaloft Not sure what your hardware situation is but you could potentially connect your router to your VPN service and then the roku should also work? I'm not 100% certain on this but if the VPN is just to spoof a region you can likely do that at the router level if you want to tinker.

@TheRealFrankEP @Ask_Spectrum Same thing here @ask_Spectrum. I get The same several minutes of a program that was broadcast on CBS at 2pm ..... but it is now 7pm. My ABC feed also keeps showing the same few minutes of the wrong show instead of To Tell The Truth at 7pm. ROKU, AppleTV, same problem on both.

@Punkdbarbie @RokuSupport @Roku Pluto is acting the same on people's Fire TVs. I can't comment on the other two since I'm not subscribed to them. It looks like it's not a Roku specific issue though. Pluto seems to work ok on my computer though. It's all really weird.

@WhoCamille_ I got mine for a little cheaper but I’ve had it for three years no issues. I just hook up my roku stick. I don’t use it everyday, but it’s nice the nights I want to get in the bed early or watch a movie.
