@borrowed_ideas The problem with ARPU is that it's a meaningless metric at Roku. The company puts a dollar value to the ad inventory it gets from hundreds of meaningless niche channels and books it as non-cash revenue. The same number ends as COGS within the same quarter. It's all optics

@RokuSupport I have a Roku stick which suddenly has decided to stop playing movies on the Roku channel. All other channels and networks are fine. It seems you have no actual support so I thought maybe I could get help here.

Dear @AETV, Your Roku streaming app sucks big time. It constantly crashes on me and apparently doesn’t work on anything short of fiber optic internet. Every other app I stream with works just fine except yours. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. Sincerely, Mad consumer

@richard_chu97 @plantmath1 I actually think the thesis is broken.. Roku has basically built its platform on TCL TVs. With TCL now selling with $GOOG - I don’t see any path for $ROKU to grow subscribers. Clearly their marketing push is an attempt to push consumers to pick $ROKU TCLs..

I reached out to Roku to ask about recent inquiries from users stating they need to re-purchase Dashcoop. I am also experiencing the same issue on my devices. I’ve seen a few fellow Roku developers running into the same issue. I hope to hear back from Roku soon.

ROKU has a history of strong execution in retail. I can see ROKU leaning in heavier after supply issues ease. I don't see revenue share with TCL at the commodity layer will make a difference. Walmart can swap TCL with Hisense and consumers won't even notice.

Password managers are great. As long as you can sign in on your computer or phone......but if you need to sign in on a device that doesn't have a browser, good luck ever entering one of those complex passwords in your Roku, or tablet at Top Golf, or whatever else.....

@Annesviews @Netflixhelps Alternative network makes zero difference. Clearly its an issue at Netflix end with many reporting the same issue like me, getting stuck at 10% loading. Same on Xbox App, Android App and Roku. Our LANs arent the issue @Netflixhelps

@YouTubeTV I submitted error reports and chatted with an agent named Ann or Annie 3 days ago. She was forwarding my problems to support Still having the problems Same problem on one Roku TV, two Roku sticks and one LG Smart TV. 330 Mbps speed 5 minute load times to watch DVR.

@jetpilotjones @XfinitySupport @Roku I finally got mind to load. I uninstalled the app, did. System restart on roku, then disconnected my modem and restarted it. Reinstalled the app and all seemed to work again.

@JohnVaughnIII @Beth_Kindig I’m curious to see how it plays out - it’s too expensive for TCL to have two versions especially if it’s not driving additional sales. In the short term, TCL sales will not help grow Roku’s subs (maybe that’s why they downplayed this growth) Definitely a huge risk for $ROKU..

@YouTubeTV is there an issue with the @Roku app and the Library tab. I watch shows saved in my dvr and they still show up in my Library as New. I then have to go to the app and click Marked as Watched.

@Roku Your customer support system is crap. Nonexistent. @FrndlyTV keeps locking up and I have to unplug and replug the Express HW device bc remote Back and Exit buttons do not work. Your customer support page on website is a circular loop. At least take our written complaints.
