Apple TV on Roku in 4K is nearly unusable. Switching to SD is pretty much the only way the app is responsive, even on a newer television.

Hi, @Roku ! My @AmazonFiretv stick was so awful, clunky and frustrating that I’ve finally tossed it and am about to become acquainted with you. It will mean less purchases from me for Amazon. What’s good? Can I use my box & DVD player with you too? (Amazon’s CS sucks too FYI).

@AmazonHelp I restart the app repeatedly & the TV. @Roku sucks... but it's not the issue. I think it's the show. GRIMM does the same thing. Older syfy channel shows. I even adjust the viewing mode. Nothing helps.

And I experience all these while having data plans on @MTN180 @AirtelNigeria and @9mobilengCare at the same time. Their networks are so goddamn awful in IMO state, so awful! I have a Roku that's useless because I can't even dream of streaming

@DIRECTV is a joke. They can’t figure out why my login is redirecting me to my phone Bill. I also cannot watch ESPN+ from my Roku or any other device. A service I paid $70 for. Absolutely clueless

WINS discovery is obsolete, so make sure you install wsdd2, which makes network browsing work correctly on modern machines. There's also (mini)dlna, which let's me stream videos from my disk to my Roku. This has worked out pretty well, tbh.

@FanboyClay Also auto frame rate was turned off on my roku... I think that's the main issue. It must be filmed at a higher frame rate. I'm guessing

@Yolodrigo I've so far been able to watch One Piece free on Crunchyroll (though with ads) via a Roku device. Does that not work through the Wii U? I'd help you out if I had a premium sub, sorry :(

@Roku @RokuSupport Is there a reason my Roku TV 💩 itself and restarted in its own? There was no update, and your TV tuner is still as broken as when you screwed up and put out that malware as the version 10 software update the other day.

@TheChrisGlass @Roku The problem is roku’s business model. No one wants to pay Apple TV prices for their streaming device but the company making them is gonna make that money somewhere. So every big app on roku has to pay to be in their store. Same reason HBO Go/max and peacock weren’t on there

Man, @AppleTVPlus’s fast-forward function on @Roku kinda sucks. Darn thing doesn’t buffer properly unless you do it on the slowest setting. On top of the fact that it didn’t save my spot when I paused it and changed my input to watch a game on cable.

@fuboTV help. Samsung 43" 4k smart TV. Lately I often get blurring when watching on FUBO but if I watch Netflix, prime video, etc. everything is fine. This is a smart TV running wirelessly. We have fubo running through Roku on other TVs and no problems. Any suggestions?
