@hbomax @Roku Fix your app on Xfinity X1! No multiple profiles, no add to list, no continue watching, and you can’t even exit something once you start watching it! The only way to exit a show/movie is to back out of the entire app!

@jim_haack @hbomax @Roku Ok Mr darth baby yoda Honestly just look through the replies and the tag; a /lot/ of people are actually having issues with the app crashing. Seems it wasn't very well optimized for roku. Not every complaint is a karen complaint my dude.

HBO Max finally arriving on Roku is the absolute worst thing that could have happened for my productivity. Why be a person when I can just lay in bed and watch Doctor Who all day?

@HBOMaxHelp It’s great in theory that you’re available on Roku now, but your Roku app is so slow and laggy it’s near unusable. The UX is definitely not ready for primetime. Hope you fix soon in update. Pro-tip: speed > bells and whistles.

@Roku @hbomax Great, but there's no way to log into my HBOMax Account. And access my list of saved shows/movies. Or even save shows/moves to the Roku App Version. Nor are profiles available. Very bare bones. Can't wait for the update to fix these things.

In case anyone else had this issue where you open HBO Max and it's just regular HBO content, you have to delete the regular HBO app from Roku and redownload HBO Max.

Well. Unlike Hulu and Netflix, which both work fine in a browser on my chintzy laptop, HBO Max wont run smoothly there. It was fine a minute ago on the Roku in the other room. Laying down to try Pottery on my phone app for it.

Was thinking about this because the funimation app on roku switched to spanish subtitles and wouldn't fix so we switched to watching on the Switch. The funimation Switch app is actually good and works!

@RossRaihala I am so done with roku and smart TVs. Over the years I’ve had app issues with my Samsung TVs and Blu-ray players and Roku aging beyond support. I’ve moved to Chromecast and so far have had better luck casting from my phone or iPad.

I mean, I've seriously heard cases of people buying entirely new TVs for built-in streaming apps just because buying a Roku or Firestick and pressing that button seemed too much work.

@RokuSupport @hbomax I figured out that I needed to remove the HBONow app before I could load the HBOMax app. Thankfully, I was recognized right away. Not everyone will know to do this, and Roku's Channel Store thought the "lesser" app was the "max-er" app. You want to fix that.

.@hbomax - your signin info on the Roku is not working. It directs you to an hbonow link and there are no satellite providers. When I go to the hbomax link on help pages it won't accept the TV code. Little help!
