@TeamYouTube Sure thing. Anytime we play something from the library, the voice is extremely broken up. We e re opted the route and the Roku, and we have 300mb internet. This has actually been going on since we became customers. Only happens on older shows.

Had this sneaking suspicion that once I finally got a Roku and hooked it up, I wouldn't be able to get it to work, and I can't. I know what's wrong, but not how to fix it, and it's the kind of problem that needs in-person (not remote) assistance. Some post-pandemic day, I guess.

@hairboat @aurelgasser I've had no problems with mine. The only downside is that the remote is IR when my standalone Roku had an RF one but overall I prefer this setup for the simplicity. If you have a costco membership, buy one there and return if not happy

@hulu_support I don’t understand why you can’t fix the same problems I’ve had for years. Many people have same issues. Your DVR breaks constantly. Ads mess up the whole playback every time. Skipping around. Starting over. Roku. iPad. Laptop. And you keep raising prices. Where does my money go?

It's not my HDMI cord. I tried multiple different HDMI cords and on other devices the cords work very well. And the main cord I use on my Roku TV works just fine and doesn't do the thing on any non Roku display. They got some weird technology in it that'd super aggravating

I got #AppleTV+ for #Roku so I could binge The Morning Show this weekend but after 2 episodes it won't play any more. This annoying error keeps coming up & apparently they've known about it for months but haven't fixed it!

So, once all is said and done it will cost about the same to get ATT as it will to go back to Spectrum. The advantage of ATT is I get HBO for a year and also no box, no switching HDMI ports, no separate remote. Also, new Roku’s will work with Apple HomeKit.

@alexlmiller @aurelgasser maybe i cheap out too much on the hardware, but the only Roku TV i've ever owned was the worst culprit here! same Roku OS but apps just froze, or the whole TV would just crash, at least once a day

Ok, @hbomax - serious complaint. I can use a code to login to my TV app (keyboard possible), but I need to key-in my email and long password (with no keyboard) on my @Roku to login. That's a giant pile of pig poop. #DoBetter

I think its some sort of upscaling. I have a 720p roku tv that looks like 1080p normaly until the weird glitch im talking about happens
