@jcandance I usually help my dad for the sake of my mom. Having to explain how a roku box works, how a Firestick works, How the connection to the phone line on the house to the computer, how much wiring would be needed to hardwire a roku box to his garage (too far unless a repeater).

Every other app I use works on my Roku. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney Plus and Paramount Plus all work great. But not #HBOMAX why?

@bocxtop We can’t watch it on our big tv because it’s hooked through our Roku and it’s SO GLITCHY. So we have to watch it on our laptops. We have no problems with any of the other apps.

@thomas_kaede @AlanSoclof VIAC has a 25x buffer in there in price to sales to Roku and is a cash cow. Is it really worth it at this point in the cycle to be with Roku.

@saxena_puru Roku has done an awful job in expanding outside US. They have started a couple of years ago but are not able to crack it. They need more partnerships with TV and box manufacturers just like Android otherwise they are done for.

@hbomax Your programming is the best in terms of content, but your platform on Roku is maddeningly glitchy. It happens so often that I give up what I’m watching. This shouldn’t be happening to paid subscribers. Any way to fix this?

The HBO Max app is broken on every platform I've ever used it on (Smart TV, Apple TV, Roku). It's actually hilarious how there doesn't seem to exist even one device that is ideal for using HBO Max, it's universally dogshit.

@dirtvision While I appreciate and enjoy the @dirtvision service I really do…the new Roku app design is awful. Don’t know what type of UAT was conducted. Also, why make changes to the platform right before the biggest races of the winged sprint car world?!? Come on man 🙄🤯

@TrevorJV @YouTubeTV I'm not a smart tech, but ran into this issue last year. Apps like that, Netflix, disney+ are blocked from phone/ipad connections to projectors. BUT if you plug a Roku stick or Chromcast or Apple TV into the projector it works. Good luck

@hbomax would you please get it together on Roku? Your app is unusable and I'm going to cancel. Every other streaming service works perfectly. I get five crashes to the main menu every time I try to watch a show on HBOMAX.

@dirtvision I’m using ROKU, it’s nowhere to be found. I pay a yearly subscription. This is bruuuutal! If I can’t watch Knoxville that’s going to be a biiiig problem. Like I’m done with dirtvision problem. Why would I pay for Cedar Lake when I have a yearly pass?! What a joke
