@RokuSupport NO! the AcornTV "channel" is the only one affected. Now you are going to say the issue is with AcornTV. WRONG! The issue is with your Roku software. Because it is your settings that won't stay OFF.

@TrendSpider easy decision here. Just buy a Roku TV and try calling customer service when it does not work right. Stock will be worth $5.

@JonnBlanchard @PaddysPCBuilds Maybe, as ours hasn't been updated for ages, I ended up buying a Roku for Amazon/Netflix/Plex, as the inbuilt apps became unusable. - and when checking it says its on the latest firmware avail and the apps (removing and re-installing) are the same. TV is about 4yrs(ish)

Another update: I changed the security of my wifi and immediately my roku connected to it. I had to connect it to the wifi extender that my roommate bought because her computer wasn’t streaming right. Well. I might have fixed the problem and she just moved out… oops haha hehe

@kasey__moore Basically. That's the problem. But right now it does have 10M paying subs, so for Netflix to buy Lionsgate for their content--hypothetically--you need to get Starz out of there. The only reasonable buyer to me is Roku. Because then they have a streamer to build up.

@allshriimp @casey__shay @madebygoogle I suspect Google is having (or was) the issue thou, because one of my Roku TVs is saying it's off line in the Home App - but Google can still control it...very strange. I thought maybe it was just me, but I can see others are having the same issues at least with the Feit stuff.

@tomjenen My initial reaction was "this is a dumb move by Netflix" but after letting it sync in the gaming synergies could be massive. Still think they should have just bought Roku, but this could work for all parties.

@RobinSc98762507 @RokuSupport Roku’s response which none worked for me: check for an update on the app, the system software, remove and re-add the app, and unplug the whole device and wait a bit and plug in and try. Hope those work for you!

@FelineFrenzy85 I have a Roku TV and I love it and I don't have cable but I have internet and pay for Hulu and I've never had a problem for live TV I think it's about 70 to $80 with Hulu

@Wormhole_Matt I used to use a Roku but the audio quality through the remote was awful and you can’t run Kodi on Roku but it runs beautifully on Android TV. It’s a cheap thing. $20 at Walmart.
