@hbomax did you know the app continues to change #gommorah back to “Italian” language between each episode? Pretty annoying + subtitles don’t work all the time. (Roku tv + hbo max app. Also tried this on firestick too)

@ilyThaMar @hbomax Whatever you log into (Firestick, Smart TV, Roku) they usually prompt for a code to login from the web.

@RokuSupport My roku won’t allow me to finish activating tv it’s saying it can’t reach me by my email and i can’t find anything on your roku support website I see this is a common issue how is it fixed?

@SheIsImaniB The HBO Max apps in general are a disaster. Ours on Roku crashed in the middle of the new Dune movie. Ironically, it did NOT crash when we watched the train wreck that is the 1984 Dune.

@CooperLawrence @CulturedRuffian My grandson had a 10 Trac phone you don't have to activate..he watches his You Tube, ABC mouse, PBS kids. And Noggin. He's had it for over a year . never loses it . But now knows how to work remote for Roku and streaming.

Love my new Samsung Tv,but the audio/video is constantly going out of sync on the @hulu app. Never had this issue even using the Roku. Might need to go back to it.

@Vincent_Teoh You mind me running something by you? I have LGC9 and I’ve noticed I stopped getting 4K resolution from the LG apps but I do get them from my Roku on the same TV. Have you heard of this issue ?

@DerrickSloboda @craigcalcaterra Agreed… I never have issues with Hulu on my Roku TV. Netflix is generally fine as well. Apple TV+ on the other hand… that’s a hot mess.

@penguinzombiie @HBOMaxHelp Do the subtitles show up on the Roku when the timeline is displayed then disappear when the timeline disappears? That is what happens on my Android TV device. Did some troubleshooting with @HBOMaxHelp but still didn't work.

lmao, I just realized something that may help me immensely if I run into any trouble at all with the Amiga emulator. I have a friend who lives in San Jose and has been working at Roku for a long time. I emailed her before I started at Zwift to ask if she know about them.

@RyClayson @Ask_Spectrum They are terrible, I cut the cord months ago. Frontier is what I have now, pretty decent and way cheaper. I'll eventually get Roku and just add a package here and there when I can afford it.

@hbomax two days in a row I cannot watch dune. Select it and just get the spins and nothing plays. On Roku. What is going on? Other programs work. Not dune or many Saints of Newark

@patterfloof I have my issues with AppleTV, but here this is the backup option if you don’t have an iPhone rather then the primary interface. Also the remote has been changed in later versions. I’d honestly say though, if you don’t own an iPhone, a Roku is probably a better option tbh

@HBOMaxHelp Again, I have to reply about this complaint. I've had HBO for years and stream HBO MAX through ROKU. My internet is through Spectrum. I've never had any issue whatsoever with my HBO MAX APP. Watched Dune 4 times. I love HBO/HBO MAX. I'm canceling this negative with a positive!

Ok. The Shudder issue on my @Roku has not changed. Trying to log in and it keeps saying “Bad Request”. Yet all the same login/password works on the app on my phone. Very annoying.

@nflnetwork @nfl worst, and most frustrating app on Roku. Will no longer catalog all the correct passwords, captchas etc. When everything has been entered time and again, & still you must re-sign in, your provider is not listed… No. Go have a drink with Jerry Jones, NFL boys

@HBOMaxHelp The show does not start, no shows start on HBO Max for Roku. It acts like it wants to start playing and then resets. I’ve tested other apps and network settings and everything else is working fine. Only problem is HBOMax
