@hbomax Can't stream. It's terrible. It freezes up and then goes back to the Roku home screen. Netflix, hulu, everything else works. My internet signal on Roku is strong. Me and my son are trying to watch The Fresh Prince, and we can't.

@MishaGreen I ditched my cable. Finally turned on my Roku. Checked out HBOmax. Figured it had movies worth watching. Saw a preview of Lovecraft Country. Watched every episode in one day. Got about 3hrs sleep for work. THIS SHOW IS CANCELED! WTH. Who do I need to speak to and pull up on?

@IrishHooligan19 I had Sling TV for awhile and I was happy with that. With a smart TV I always have issues with apps being slow or not working. But the same apps work just fine when I used them with Roku.

@denvercoder @WellPaidGeek Interesting. I have a Roku. Both Hulu and Amazon feel like they are just guess randomly at where we pause. Sometimes it's off by 10 minutes or more. Netflix has it nailed to the exact second. Of course Hulu often ends the episode early too. Terrible.

@ESPNPlusHelp Have you figured out the Roku app issue yet? I’ve two hours (two separate service agents…) both tried to troubleshoot my computer, instead of my Roku. And when I asked for a credit bc I can’t watch anything… your rep closed my account instead … #customerservice

@HBOMaxHelp On both my IPhone and Roku tv the app continuously crashes when browsing or in the middle of playing content only saying “an error has occurred”. Both apps are up to date.

It’s been two weeks since I reached out to HBO re: their unusable Roku app, & TODAY they finally emailed me back with the same generic “troubleshooting” that I did with their online CS chat. What do you call a paid service that fails to deliver, is it fraud? Feels like fraud.

@NOWHelpTeam your service needs to dramatically improve, I have sports,entertainment and movies with you but your connection is poor, I use itv hub, Amazon prime Netflix and uktv play from the same Roku box with no problems, but now tv is always lagging! **** show

Why @hbomax are there so many issues with your app on roku? Every single time I launch the app I have to restart roku sometimes 1, 2,3,4 times. After all of that I start program and can’t rewind, FF without it crashing. Then have to repeat.

Very annoyed that the @hbomax app on my Roku just stopped working. Looked at the troubleshooting, did all the things, no dice. It's not my internet, we're on fiber and all of the real streaming services seem to work fine. Saw the patch is expected in a few MONTHS. Sucks ***.

@NatKatNYC I think you can get all of them on Roku. I have it set up on my bedroom tv, and Netflix and hbo def work. Last I heard, hbo max was the only one not on it but they fixed that recently.

@Iron_Spike Anyone reading this who's also screening this make sure to get the Roku app ahead of time and sign in. I had an issue with the app not recognizing I had purchased a ticket. Support was able to work it out but it took a couple of hours of back and forth emails.
