@HBOMaxHelp I tried. I updated it and restarted the Roku. I didn't want to delete and sign in because I did that like 2 weeks ago and it didn't help. Anyway, when I updated/restarted, it worked for like a minute. Then it crashed again. I'm tired. I'll get back to it at another time 😔

@TeamYouTube no it doesn't because you still havent provided a list of what is is compatible on. I've tried my roku. my amazon fire stick 4k. my google chromecast. You guys say its launched, but what does it actually even work on?

I’m not angry about the devices. I’m angry about Roku’s absolute lack of customer support. You guys are sending same auto responses without reading my replies. I’ve been exclusively a Roku consumer for probably 10 yrs and now I can’t get help with this. I’m so disappointed.

@slinganswers @NotFamousHenry If you use Roku you can press the right or left purple arrows to FF or RW slower. Cant help if not Roku. Sling doesn’t tell you that. They’re a piece of ****.

@krdknight @RokuSupport Good luck Larry. I’ve been having the exact same issue and @RokuSupport and I have been DMing each other for weeks. I’ve gotten auto auto replies. And still no working Roku. I bought a new Roku. It won’t connect either. Let me know if you get anywhere.

@steph_harlowe Yerp, thought it was just me. I've got roku so I know they've both been having issues with each other. From what I read YT has issues in morals I think. Anytime I go to another app for a while then go to YT it boots/freezes or other.

@CordCuttersNews Good video but one thing you left out was storage issues with Smart TVs. I have a Samsung and I really like it but I had to buy a Roku Ultra because some apps on Samsung couldn’t update due to low storage and I’m limited on what I can add

@BrianMGillespie @YouTubeTV I can tell you what it is NOT working with at the moment here: Sony A80J Google TV, Nvidia Shield 2019, Roku Ultra 4800 with YTTV app or YT app. So that leaves out everything I have.

@laracasts hey, is there a download limit? How often is it reset? Background: I'm a lifetime member, and I normally only watch series on the my plex server on the roku while washing he dishes or other evening tasks. Noticed I was getting some 429 errors. Thanks!

I know there’s a solution but all I get from Roku are PM auto replies. I need to TALK TO A HUMAN BEING to troubleshoot this. I’ve tried everything else SEVERAL times. Now I’m stuck with Amazon streaming & it’s the worst. Your customers deserve better support than this.

@XfinitySupport unable to play certain channels on Roku Xfinity Stream app during last several days; TVAPP-00207 error for NECN for example. Also, selecting HD channel switches to SD; Fox 1025 HD selected but Fox 06 low res. appears. Nothing changed in env.

@HBOMaxHelp The sound is out of sync for the first new episode of The Other Two on the Roku app. Quite glaring. Tried starting over multiple times and re-installing the app. Did not work. Going to try watching on my phone now, I guess.

@HBOMaxHelp The same as everyone else trying to use the app on Roku. Constant crashes trying to load up a show/movie. If a show does start, if you press any button on your remote, its gonna crash. My brother says he has the same problems on his Roku TV. Same as a lot of people on here do.

@RokuSupport I’ve been pming w support for a few weeks bc my Roku devices stopped connecting to my wifi. I’ve done ALL troubleshooting suggested by auto replies. MULTIPLE times. PLEASE is there a Roku customer svc ph# I can CALL & TALK to HUMAN BEING? PLEASE HELP!

@ohhoe @emilyst @kf seconded on roku though, i dated a gal who's very "digital native" but does not work "in tech" and she heavily used her roku (or laptop). i actually gave her a chromecast because i wanted to use it on her TV (and they just accumulated thanks to different tech gadget bundles)
