Still awaiting @Roku to fix the @AppleTV app ‘Verification Unsuccessful’ error when trying to sign in for the first time. Use to work fine. Last Roku software update has it crashed and no way to login to the AppleTV app. Very frustrating. #Roku #AppleTV

@DavidJCarbone1 @SCRenard84 Yeah I don’t have cable and it’s been a #DiscoveryPlus has been a godsend. Granted there are streaming issues (such as casting being iffy and no support for things like the Roku or Firestick). But it’s $5 for some content that you can watch anytime.

@ATX_fight_club It's not terrible here, but I'd bet it is very location dependent. Their self diagnostic website is helpful. The cable TV app is horrible by today's standards, but is free. Doesn't work on Amazon box, so I bought a Roku just for it.

got a roku to remove my spectrum cable box and now spectrum doesn't work with roku anymore so if you don't have the app, you can't get the app. Ah man.

@HBOMaxHelp WW1984 is STILL lagging when playing on my Roku TV! I have a support ticket that I was told was submitted to your technical support team but no one has contacted me. What is the status? WW1984 is unwatchable! Your customer support has been terrible!

So ROKU has no live support, “due to COViD “. How many people are tired of this lame *** EXCUSE being used for EVERYTHING. I go to their online support and am transferred to a page to sign up for a $46 a month “ online support help”. F. Roku. Ill be SMASHING YOUR DEVICES.

@TSOH_Investing try interacting w/ROKU "cust service". in this day-&-time, given so many are working from home & therefore available, ROKU refuses to put-n-place humans, relies on "chats" which takes forever to solve simple issues; emails which take on a life of their own due to ROKU stupidity

@TeamYouTube I have already tried reinstalling the app, and the issue persisted. I also tried subscribing on my laptop and through the Roku YouTube app, and have had the same issue. When I switched to another email account, I could subscribe to channels without any issue.

Hey @Roku, I already pay for @hbomax. So can you tell me why your new HBOMax app doesn’t have a sign in function? Only choice I have is to subscribe and pay for HBOMax thru you. So I have to pay for it twice? Y’all really need to figure this out.

@smartertrader No, roku is cheap reliable smart tv. Why not buy $450 70 inch ultra HD smart TVs instead of Samsung’s $700 one? Is the quality really worth a $250 price difference.

@amyallantdf @fizzywizzy25 @TheDeadFilesTV I don’t really understand how it works. Right now I pay $80 for a cell with unlimited data, $115 cable and $10.00 limited WiFi. If I get rid of cable will a roku stick work with limited WiFi? Also would I have to pay separate charges for Discovery+, Hulu, Netflix etc?

@jsnell What do you know about the playback issue w/ AppleTV? I have the app on my Roku, and when I leave a program and then come back, the program restarts from the beginning. Was on phone call w/ Apple Support from 30 mins last night & they don’t have a clue. You know a fix?
