@RokuSupport I have had my ROKU Stick for two years. I've never had any problem with connection to WI-FI or internet. SUDDENLY I started having problem with wifi connection. I've done everything (several times) it only connect when it is next to to the router.

On Privacy Regulation - Privacy regulation is not a big headwind because Roku is positioned as a platform to leverage their own data to help advertise reach Roku users. Advertisers buy directly from Roku as opposed to a third party.

@TeamYouTube It's on a Roku device - so I can't uninstall and install the app again due to your pissing match with Roku. It's a playback error. I'm able to watch on my computer but not Roku.

@askparamount It appears that your Roku app is not alone; most of the non-premium streaming service apps only provide stereo audio, and not Dolby AC3 or anything better. This is a bit of a downgrade from the same content delivered over cable or satellite, but it's not terrible.

@annaclick22 My apple tv is always WAY behind and I had the same problem with a roku before that. Sometimes I can pull up the same game on my laptop and the web browser stream will be a full batter ahead of the apple tv stream.

@A_B_Allen I haven’t noticed any noticeable compression problems on the Roku, but I say that A) not having used the Xbox app for comparison and B) being an absolutely **** source for noticing this reliably. Might be worth trying though.

@__RiseAgain__ That would be acceptable if the main series hadn't made a point about each Avatar needing to learn the elements. That was the main problem for Aang throughout the series. Even Roku spent years having to control them. Looks like Korra was born bending most of them.

Thoughts: Companies flock to Roku as they can get: - higher ROI on ad spend - higher 1st party data quality (through Nielsen 1 enabling cross-platform measurement) - cross-platform ad targeting (boomers & milllenials alike) - scale of customers than anywhere else

i have never felt so strongly about never buying something from a company again, lmao. i am never buying anything from TLC or Roku anymore because of how terrible my experience with this TV has been. i am also never connecting a TV to the internet again either

@infuse I’m having an issue with Airplay. It started on the last version 6 update and has continued with 7. I’m using airplay to a Roku ultra. Everything worked flawlessly before, but now all I get is a black screen with a loading symbol. Tried turning off Dolby but still nothing.

hello to all my followers. i have a message: if you ever want to buy a TCL Roku TV, don't, because they break features with system updates and then take months to fix them, if ever. or if you do: do not connect it to the internet. you can't roll back to earlier system software.

@HBOMaxHelp the app keeps glitching on my Roku. Going back a page will sometimes land me back on the Roku home and I had to go back in 4x to get Labryinth to play b/c it froze and kept sending me back to the Roku Home page. What's up with the tech issues?

I am sure the problem is from the Roku device. There’s nothing I can do about it. I was so happy using Roku but not anymore. Does that mean Roku devices only work for maximum two years?

@hulu_support I am using Roku devices. Doesn't matter what I use or what I watch, the volume is extremely low. This seems to be a known issue that's been around for a long time according to the Hulu community board

@RokuSupport @COLEplusTEN Even if he gives you more details you will still give him the run around. I am going on 2 weeks+ with issues. Your email team sucks. They never get back to me and wanted me to pay to ship back a defective item. Never recommending Roku to anyone.

Just tried to pause a Netflix movie, on Roku, using the Dish remote. Didn’t work. Now I am beginning to understand why my wife gets so frustrated with technology.
