@addhayanbakhsh1 @garywhitta Part of the problem with TV-based OS systems is you have no guarantee that your TV will support them over time. I mean, what’s the outside of OS support for phones, 6 years on the outside? I like my TV’s Roku OS, but there’s something to be said for a TV as a dumb terminal.

@RokuSupport I have solved it myself. HBO Max pushed an update on May 31st that some how cracked the app. I deleted and reinstalled it and it worked right away. Disappointing that whomever is coding the apps didn't test update working. Roku Reddit filled with people with same problem

@Roku needs to stop ending contracts with people, now I’m having issues with my cable provider bc roku decided to end their contract 😒 wtf I’m supposed to do now I have a roku tv, I’m not ganna go buy a new tv. Fix your agreement with spectrum already 🙄 save us a headache

Are we agreed that a remote control the size of a candy bar should come with a wrist strap? Hear this, ROKU? But that's not my problem. Grabbing one up with the sheets and running it through the laundry is my problem. Thanks to Amazon, will have two by tomorrow.

@michaeltemkin @mgsiegler I was using HBO Max on Roku Ultra last night and noticed a weird problem when trying to go rewind a bit, but I did get there. However HBO Max offers some unique problems on Roku that they still haven’t fixed. Still sounds far more usable than this problem with AppleTV.

@HBOMaxHelp @antssrt @taxi7007driver We are using Roku streaming devices Ultra and streaming plus sticks. We can get in the app and find the show, but nothing plays . You click play and all it does is instantly loop back to play... I too would like help, we can't even watch Young Sheldon or any show and both device

@DaveWeLike @fatbabyfunds @HonestInvesting I don’t have cable and only stream (YouTubeTV, Netflix etc.). I do everything through my Samsung smartTV with 4K quality and sometimes AppleTV. Never felt the need for a Roku nor Firestick. This is why I can’t see $ROKU long term.

@HBOMaxHelp ROKU TV. I'll be watching movies & then I'm asked to sign in,which involves getting my computer and a code. some movies don't even load. one took over 6 minutes until I gave up. Closed cation doesn't work nor does FF, rewind, or repeat. Other premium channels are point & click.

@vol_jr My problem was My wife had the Disney + bundle through Disney and I had Hulu at one time through Roku. It was a billing disaster and Hulu couldn’t help at all. I got it figured out though in the 5th inning yesterday 👍

Anybody else been having constant issues with @hbomax the past 36-48 hours? Mine has crashed on my PS4, Roku and Fire stick. None of my other streaming services have issues. Everything is up to date as well.
