@AlyssaRose5228 @netflix @Roku Nope! It’s not just you. Everyone I know has the same problem! Also, the Roku app for your phone has a remote that works a lot better than the one they provide! That’s helped a little but Netflix just doesn’t work on Roku.

@RokuSupport @HBOMaxHelp I subscribed to HBO through the Roku channel. I have been paying $16 a month 4 a service I don't have because of a glitch on someone's end. Roku customers are being told to contact HBO Max. HBO Max tells Roku customers to contact Roku. This is ridiculous!

@ChrisCinciBiz @hbomax It’s the absolute worst and I keep wondering how a powerhouse like HBO wrecked an app like this. The only reason I even try is for my current West Wing re-watch. I’ve been kicked out (and back to Roku) about 10 times this week. 🙃

@fin313 @TheBrandonHardy We have both apple TV and Chromecast (ultra and one with google TV) I've not noticed any sort of issues with any apps on either, but back in the day of Roku boxes i had such a bad experience that I was turned off of boxes for years.

@BestBuy Worked w/ sales rep in Boynton Beach, FL re purchase of TV & wall mounts. Installation of one mount rendered it unusable for ROKU. Impossible to call store to check sales rep’s hours due to corporate policy. Wasted 30 min driving to store to find out salesperson not in.

After an hour of troubleshooting I am giving up on getting Apple TV to work on the Roku. It shouldn't be this difficult. And no, Apple, it isn't my internet connection given that 6 other streaming services work perfectly fine.

@hulu_support - for the past month or two I cannot pause live TV anymore. Pausing works for at the most 30 seconds then it just ignores it, does the white loading bar and starts playing again. Also having trouble rewinding live TV. :/ On all 4 of my TCL Roku smart TVs.

@scottygb The quality of the picture during the stream on the ITV Hub is awful, it's night and day the difference between it and iPlayer. I have no aerial in my office so have to use streaming on a Roku box, thankfully Sunday night is on iPlayer for me.

For a while now, we’ve been having trouble watching HBO Max and Netflix on our Roku TV: apps frequently crashing, sync and buffering issues, delayed response in controls, etc. Are these apps more responsive/reliable on Apple TV? Fire TV? Just curious; our other apps work fine.

Both parties need to resolve the issue together rather than passing the buck. In the Roku community, it seems this has been an issue since March when the transition occurred. This is not acceptable. I have reached out via email to both parties & received a generic response.

@TeamYouTube There is no reason to send feedback when I am the only one having the issue. It is just the one account. The problem happens on all versions of the Roku app, regardless of location or TV. I know for a fact that you won't bother fixing that.

@acarter48 Sadly, $FB. Got a new TV and all the apps are built in by manufacture (not a Roku tv). Maybe $ROKU remains strong through the manufactures they work with, but less and less of a need for their devices. I’m not as bullish as I once was.

@TheBrandonHardy I have a Roku and it’s been driving me up the wall. Disney+ has always been buggy for me. HBO Max has some issues, but this morning it took a really long time to load. Peacock and Hulu have been glitching lately, too. Maybe it is Roku and not the apps like I’ve been assuming?
