    @BillboardChris I don't know about Sasktel to be honest. When Bell bought out MTS we got higher prices on somethings and did not get much better service.

    @PrairieVeteran @Martyupnorth You and me too Shaughn. Just running the numbers between my DND pension, SaskTel pension and my personal savings. My wife and I are staring down the barrel of retirement.

    And all 3 also operate under their own names So you got a total of 9 different carriers, but in reality it's actually 3 Videotron, Freedom, and Sasktel are the only independent cell providers in Canada There was MTS (Manitoba Telecom Service) but Bell took them over in 2017

    @BShane555 @NoGunsInCanada The only thing stopping Moe from selling off Sasktel (one of the very few remaining crown corporations), is that no one wants to by a phone company with less than a million subscribers in a service area covering 650,000 sq km.

    @JBMcAdams @SaskTel @bellmts is no better on the Manitoba side of the border. Coverage is intermittent from Russell to Bunge and then basically nonexistent to the border. So if the reason is that the coverage can’t cross the border then why do we pay for service that does not exist

    Just thinking out loud…how nice would it be to head down for supper before walking to an arena for a playoff hockey game. Wouldn’t work cause not enough parking for 4 vehicles at the restaurant. Oh well. Now time to join everyone on a bus to Sasktel center. @cityofsaskatoon

    @alexmarz @SaskTel It would be a dumb move. If I switch to a free email, there's no reason to stay with SaskTel. I can take a 'new customer' deal from any ISP.
