Effective April 1, 2026, the province’s crown corporation will manage installation, equipment purchases, and billing in-house for qualifying rural businesses holding a valid GST number. This initiative directly supports small farms, mines, and forestry operations in areas where traditional fibre or broadband infrastructure remains costly and slow to deploy.   @GordTulk @ExnerPirot @JeffCallaway Sasktel is the reason rates are lower for cell service from any provider in Sask. Big dummy. It's single handedly pulling down costs for consumers across the country.
