    @smitty4713 @SaskTel @cityofsaskatoon Isn’t the cost of internet service supposed to include an email address? I can understand if someone has 10, but charging for ONE? What SaskTel is going to lose because of this move is going to dwarf the email grift.

    @lynboyle4 @SaskTel @cityofsaskatoon Yes, I've already spent more than $24 worth of time making changes but we also have to add my wife's account on top of that. It's not just the cost (which will add up over the years) but eventually they will just shutter the service entirely. That's their whole objective.

    I hope @SaskTel understands how difficult it is to change emails on the many many accounts that I have. I'm 2 hours in and haven't made a dent. Some won't let you change emails without creating a new account. Some have technical issues like @cityofsaskatoon NOT HAPPY!! /1

    @jliska @AlexanderQuon Businesses have largely dumped Sasktel as a comms provider: reliability, poor filtering, use of American servers subject to their patriot act. Bettee- self hosted or another host. Only checked my Sasktel email after their announcement, hadn't looked at for almost 2 yrs

    @SaskTel @LauriePalmer3 @alexYQR For a tiny service such as email in the context of all of the services you provide, charging for an email address will do more to hurt brand loyalty than any other charge I can think of.

    Based upon what I'm reading, it sounds like Sasktel's email service is not a big loss.
