SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedOn March 18, crews will be completing scheduled maintenance on the satellite network that supports SaskTel Landline Phone services (Home Phone and Business Phone) in Uranium City. As a result of this work, SaskTel Landline services will be unavailable for approximately eight hours in and around the community. While crews will work to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible, the exact timing of the service interruption and restoration cannot be confirmed in advance.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedMarch 11, 2026 – SaskTel crews completed the planned network maintenance and restored all SaskTel services in and around the communities of Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fond‑du‑Lac prior to 6:00 am this morning. Mark Firemoon (@MFiremoon) reported@here4fredom @realnikohouse I get 900 Mbps down and 500 Mbps up on SaskTel in Saskatchewan. I've seen DOCSIS providers offer 2Gbps down and 1Gbps up, but they don't offer publicly rout able IPs.
