    ๐Ÿšจ SaskTel partners with Starlink to boost connectivity for rural businesses SaskTel has formed a strategic partnership with Starlink to deliver high-speed business internet services across Saskatchewan. Effective April 1, 2026, the provinceโ€™s crown corporation will manage installation, equipment purchases, and billing in-house for qualifying rural businesses holding a valid GST number. This initiative directly supports small farms, mines, and forestry operations in areas where traditional fibre or broadband infrastructure remains costly and slow to deploy. Existing Starlink Business customers can switch to SaskTel billing at no charge, allowing them to consolidate services seamlessly. The move represents a meaningful advancement in closing the connectivity gap for rural Saskatchewan enterprises.

    @emmagmay @Rogers Rogerโ€™s is horrible. We had Shaw fit fibre which wasnโ€™t great but Rogers is WAY WAY WAY worse. Switching to Sasktel ASAP!

    @MA5ONATOR HI Chills @MA5ONATOR, Saskatoon Transit only runs service to the Blades games from the special event stop on 23rd street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. For larger events SaskTel Center utilizes other resources. Please contact SaskTel center to confirm bus service from malls.

    @SaskTel Well, I appreciate your reply. I know it's only lip service. I've been talking to Sasktel about this for years. Our complaints simply aren't going to cause you to build more towers or upgrade current ones. That's the only fix for this.

    @cselley There does exist in several iterations, what he describes. Co-op is an example, higher per item price with an equitable profit share There is Sasktel as a government owned service provider. Less customer service, higher prices, zero profit motivation.

    Will the Sasktel saga never end? 2 months now, no home internet. Neighbour has been in her home a week and today Sasktel is parking in MY driveway to install her internet.... *sigh*. It's ok, I really didn't want to leave the house to get stuff done today anyway....

    @TheTorontoSun SaskTel is the reason Saskatchewan residents have the lowest telecom bills in the country, and you're talking as if a national Crown Corp doing the same thing would be bad for working Canadians?
