@alexYQR @SaskTel I remember when they would make you pay a $200 deposit to have their service if you were "young" without established credit. They said would get the deposit back if you make all payments on time for 2 years, I never signed up to find out lol , what a joke they are sadly.

  • pkcanada1 Paul Kelly (@pkcanada1) reported

@EverettMartin @SaskTel Year ago as a marketing guy, I helped exit a northern radio service. Used to be big, then new tech meant other alternatives and hardly anyone using. Network guys tried to wind down the service and got blow back. Had to wait 3 years and do it again. …/2

@JohnKleinRegina @SaskTel Probably neither. I'd imagine it's the hardware and material to build and maintain a fibre network that have seen inflation. The price index of fibre optic cables has increased 22% since 2021.

@neilserfas @olblue81 @SaskTel It would be a never ending process would take years to be honest

@SaskTel But you’re raising the cost of your internet service.

  • VA5SCA Neil VA5WX (@VA5SCA) reported

@WayneMantykaCTV SaskTel email was never free, so I don't know how they planned to charge for addresses. But if the government has reversed its decision to have SaskTel charge more, there's a reason. What are Moe and his drinking buddies up to?

  • huddy306 Huddy (@huddy306) reported

@WilhelmGere @happylen5 @JeffWaltersSask Contracts are 2yrs, otherwise you are month to month. SaskTel doesn't even manage the email service themselves. Can you name the 3rd party that does, and so you think they are necessarily secure/'keeping your information private'?

  • B97932652 B (@B97932652) reported

@SaskMLA @SaskTel also educed data speeds by 75% for mobile users that were over the 10gb monthly. This has made the mobile data virtually unusable. When this change was made we actually saw an increase in price for a 75% reduction in service. @sasktel is broken and crooked.

@JeffHamonPhoto @SaskTel Pretty sure the government forced them to not do that dumb ****
