@ctvregina This is bull. I recieved no notice of this from Sasktel in January. The only one I got from them was a "Protect yourself from fraud and scams" email. No ******* way am I going to pay for a service that they could run in a VM or container on a storage server using spare cycles.

  • pkcanada1 Paul Kelly (@pkcanada1) reported

@BastiPhantasti @ctvregina @SaskTel SaskTel wants to get out of email services altogether. Up to now it’s a non revenue generator and is costs to support. This is about shedding cost. I got a gmail account 5 years ago.

  • jheidinger Jenna Luc (@jheidinger) reported

Hey @SaskTel how are you going to send us our ebills if we cancel our SaskTel email address??? I guess I’ll be sending you an invoice!

  • catholts Catherine Holts (@catholts) reported

@kwaterfall6669 @SaskTel It's a strategy to get people to stop being loyal to SaskTel so the government can get away with privatizing it. It's not stupid, it's evil.

  • ValerieGerein Valerie Gerein (@ValerieGerein) reported

@ctvregina I’m convinced the Sk party will selloff our government entities like they did with the liquor board. They’ll sell off Sasktel, Sask power, SGI. I was a Sk party supporter, but hell no never again. They are destroying my province. And I am afraid of our healthcare. Like Ontario.

  • smitty4713 Craig D. Smith (@smitty4713) reported

@cambo306 @ReginaPosterBoy My beef is that when I signed up for SaskTel internet, this service was included. Then they convinced me recently that it would be cheaper to lock me into a 2 year contract, including email service. Now they want to charge me for something I feel that I am already paying for.

  • huddy306 Huddy (@huddy306) reported

@DillonForsberg @WotherspoonT Ok so now your complaint is about SaskTel, good. It's not about the SP all the time 👍

  • referee_11 Micheal Lam (@referee_11) reported

Hey @SaskTel it’s been almost a year since my condo in East Regina had wiring installed for infinet. At the time in February 2021 I was told a couple of months and service should be available. Why can neighbouring homes get service and I cannot?

  • dancewithme_66 d-ner (@dancewithme_66) reported

@SaskTel @alexYQR Encouraging everyone to transition to a free service isn't exactly easy... The non-profit I work for uses solely SaskTel email accounts. Now what? We pay this fee to maintain our business email addresses or transition and lose how many emails from partners and clients in space??

  • pkcanada1 Paul Kelly (@pkcanada1) reported

@dancewithme_66 @SaskTel @alexYQR You may not like it but you should start planning an email transition. SaskTel will exit this service in a short few years. This is a first step.
