@SaskTel @alexYQR I have never had an email address other than my Sasktel one, BAD DECISION @SaskTel
-
Craig D. Smith (@smitty4713) reported
@SaskTel Thanks for the info. It's appreciated although I'm definitely not looking forward to the process. I feel that SaskTel should have at least included the email service for free until internet contracts expire.

@LHubich So take a look at Alberta ultra high insurance rates, SaskTel keeps our cellphone rates lower see CBC Marketplace. Does rural Sask think they will be winners when there are no crowns? Private utilities don’t give a damn what happens to communities with under 10000 people

@SaskTel @alexYQR This decision hurts brand trust and creates unnecessary hostility between @SaskTel and their customer base (i.e., their shareholders), all for $1.95/month. Please reconsider this lousy decision. I personally want SaskTel still be a crown corporation in 5 years

Hey @SaskTel it’s been almost a year since my condo in East Regina had wiring installed for infinet. At the time in February 2021 I was told a couple of months and service should be available. Why can neighbouring homes get service and I cannot?

@gold_brickin @SaskTel I agree. I also believe that terrible decisions are being made top down to all Crowns and are being implemented because there is no longer any rationalization or discussion on those matters.

@WotherspoonT So now I have to switch everything to Gmail? Or pay that $2/ month but it’s the principle. I use SaskTel Stream, so I’ll sign in with a gmail in future? Should have 1 included.

@DillonForsberg @WotherspoonT Ok so now your complaint is about SaskTel, good. It's not about the SP all the time 👍

@SaskTel @alexYQR Encouraging everyone to transition to a free service isn't exactly easy... The non-profit I work for uses solely SaskTel email accounts. Now what? We pay this fee to maintain our business email addresses or transition and lose how many emails from partners and clients in space??

@CJMENews This is not only wrong as a Sasktel customer, but is a terrible idea. Considering how many logins (I have ~ 300) are associated with an email this is very disruptive to their customers. They shouldn’t give you at least a year to switch to other email providers.
