    @WayneMantykaCTV Don't go treating the minister/government as heroes, they obviously had to sign off on the idea before changing course with the backlash. The money wasn't even going to go to SaskTel/SK. Their email service is contracted out of Ontario and Sasktel doesn't want to pay for it.

    @pkcanada1 @SaskTel I think we're saying the same thing. Sounds like both you and I could have predicted the issues based on our different experiences, and yet no one at Sasktel now was able to convince leadership of the "landscape". Now they get a public hand slap from government. Not a good luck.

    @WayneMantykaCTV Sasktel put a price on email to drive people to instead use one of the many free email alternatives with the goal of killing off the service. Its a huge cost that Sasktel doesn't want to have to pay to provide their email service so instead they want users to pay for it. Simple.

    If you don't get started on building a new arena now, it will only get more expensive down the road. You also got to keep in mind how long SaskTel Centre is a viable facility without soaking money into it. Get **** done now.

    @JohnKleinRegina @SaskTel Probably neither. I'd imagine it's the hardware and material to build and maintain a fibre network that have seen inflation. The price index of fibre optic cables has increased 22% since 2021.

    @WilhelmGere @happylen5 @JeffWaltersSask Contracts are 2yrs, otherwise you are month to month. SaskTel doesn't even manage the email service themselves. Can you name the 3rd party that does, and so you think they are necessarily secure/'keeping your information private'?

    @SaskTeebs @drmarcspooner Yes, but that’s not on the customer to foot if you suddenly want recompense for the service. Wouldn’t SaskTel want it’s customers to have a Sasktel email account to protect their own networks? We already 💰 for that privilege.

    @joelghill Plus SaskTel has added $5/month increase for internet service I would be happy to pay that if I knew the extra $ CIC will receive gets directed to Healthcare
