    Crews will continue to work on repairs to SaskTel’s fibre transport infrastructure throughout the weekend. However, there continues to be considerable risk for further interruptions to SaskTel Internet, Wireless and/or Landline (Home Phone and Business Phone) service due to ongoing fire activity and the nature of repairs involved.

    @BShane555 @NoGunsInCanada The only thing stopping Moe from selling off Sasktel (one of the very few remaining crown corporations), is that no one wants to by a phone company with less than a million subscribers in a service area covering 650,000 sq km.

    @TheTorontoSun SaskTel is the reason Saskatchewan residents have the lowest telecom bills in the country, and you're talking as if a national Crown Corp doing the same thing would be bad for working Canadians?

    @LeafandThistle I had that happen the spring of 1998. The WO at Line Training in Kingston invited me to instruct the QL3 line crse. Had to turn him down, as I was hired full time permanent at SaskTel as a lineman. Went to a Class A soldier from that point on.

    Speaking of Sasktel, March 1/27 is when 3G service will be decommissioned.

    So, it seems that my internet in Warman is incredibly slow and my Sasktel Max is OUT. Any word on estimated time of repair?

    @bgdoane @SaskTel On a neighbors farm you can see the cell tower 6 miles straight north and they have no service in their yard. It's not going to be long until we all will be using starlink phones and cell towers will go the way of the party line IMO
