Effective April 1, 2026, the province’s crown corporation will manage installation, equipment purchases, and billing in-house for qualifying rural businesses holding a valid GST number. This initiative directly supports small farms, mines, and forestry operations in areas where traditional fibre or broadband infrastructure remains costly and slow to deploy. Existing Starlink Business customers can switch to SaskTel billing at no charge, allowing them to consolidate services seamlessly.   What's going on with @SaskTel ? I have been on hold for IBC support for an hour and 15 mins already. Our business cant get any incoming calls from SaskTel customers - I had a Bell customer call in and the call was OK.

  @hamiltondw2 @bsproat @ctvregina This is them admitting they can not properly service rural Sask. So I like it for that ! But why on earth would I ever pay Sasktel for starlink.

  Poll:@MyAccessCA or @sasktel for TV/internet? Access came & did something with our TV/internet while I was @ work yesterday (w/o us knowing until they called/showed up). Haven't had service since-2pm. Tech window is between now & 9pm tonight so can't complete work from home...

  And all 3 also operate under their own names So you got a total of 9 different carriers, but in reality it's actually 3 Videotron, Freedom, and Sasktel are the only independent cell providers in Canada There was MTS (Manitoba Telecom Service) but Bell took them over in 2017

  On March 25, 2026 - Crews will be completing scheduled maintenance on the satellite network that supports SaskTel Landline Phone services (Home Phone and Business Phone) in Kinoosao. The outage is expected to last approximately 8 hours. The exact timing of the service interruption cannot be confirmed in advance. During the outage, residents who require emergency assistance should physically contact another person for help or visit your nearest health clinic or RCMP detachment.
