@FROTTOLEE @SeaOfThieves They should start by removing the one thing that connects silly pirate game to the real world. The pride bullshit. That is the catalyst for some of the most sick and vile people to flock towards SoT. The usual culprits are the flag pushers. They are a massive part of the problem, that very small, very vocal clique of players whom should not be trusted blindly in positions of power.

@SeaOfThieves Ok, sounds good, but you have to fix your community management structure first.

@SeaOfThieves Claimed all the twitch drops, but for some reason the gloves and belt does not show up in the game. Any fix for that?

@SeaOfThieves What an absolute shambles this once great and noble game has become. And to the people in the comments saying “never mind, take your time” - demand more than this continuously piss poor service.

@IamGreen112 @SeaOfThieves So, players who exploited this got to keep everything, those who were affected by the glitch got items deleted, and you're stuck between a rock and a hard place of having to earn them, and having items taken away. Schrodinger's Doubloons-- their here and not here at same time lol

@KingHotdogPig @SeaOfThieves No, you are right. None of us should be asking partners to stand down. I am allowed to choose whose content I want to support as a result. The problem is that these things have been going on for years at this point. It could have been prevented if Rare stepped in and stopped CM a long time ago. Rare is 100% accountable for who they have representing their game. CM are representatives. I ain't gonna force anyone to step down or take a stand, but if it appears that someone is trying to leverage a charity stream to boost their numbers and appear as a good person, for a charity that doesn't actively help OUR victims, I'm unfollowing them. If they are the least bit fake, I'm unfollowing. That's my choice and no ones gonna miss me around...so the decision is most likely mutual anyways. I absolutely do want to see a bigger push though and nothing is going to change without it. Hell, some streamers haven't mentioned it but they have been streaming other games lately...silently protesting already despite making a statement. Kudos to them.

@SeaOfThieves #seaofthieves punishing the player base for your mistakes is not the way to solve problems. this issue should have been solved on day1 of the weekender not a month later how are people supposed to make doubloons when the only doubloon item is 10 at base value

@BocaG @Christi19879853 @SeaOfThieves It would literally hurt no one to make safer seas the full experience or just having private severs. They say its PvP game but the PvP aspect is whats the problem. Outside of janky hit boxes, there's no natural progress in skill when it comes to PVP. Thr gap is huge.

@Fi1es @SeaOfThieves Awful just awful gutting the bone caller cause people whine to much about it is not the way to go keep it the same and force players to actually use a sword since it takes one good swing to get rid of the problem

@ManVsMiniatures @SeaOfThieves Its written by their legal team not rare. They know how to phrase stuff without getting into more trouble. While I do agree, law wise their respond is sadly the only correct way.

@SeaOfThieves You really have trouble reading the "vibe check," don't ya? Christ. I understand needing to move forward at some point, but come on. At least let us see these "noticeable changes" first. Now, I think that was just a load of feel-good nonsense.

  • Lotus_Koril
    Master (@Lotus_Koril) reported

@RobertByron23 @SeaOfThieves Its 3 per player, which means up to 12 on a galleon. It takes more skill to use a blunderbuss then it does to use a bonecaller. And if you were a good player, you would be able to outplay the ladder guard, even with a blunderbuss. So yea, it a massive skill issue on youre side.

@JayBlu45 @VoicemasterTV @SeaOfThieves Yeah because a Gally chasing a sloop around the sea for 45 minutes is soooooo fun. 4-6 vs 1 is not a skill issue, and get better or get lost is so childish it’s almost maddening!

@RareLtd @SeaOfThieves #Playstation5 #PS5 Your last update completely deleted my years of progress. Everything I owned and all my faction levels have been deleted. On top of that I am forced to re-sign in to my Microsoft account every single time I get on. Why bother playing now?

I don’t make a lot of comments about sot issues but it is truly baffling to me how much the SoT community is blowing up right now and Rare is staying silent and dodging it. Action needs to be taken. Do better @SeaOfThieves and you need to FIRE @j0toro

  • Xyllius
    Xyllius (@Xyllius) reported

@Musks_a_cunt @KingHotdogPig @SeaOfThieves I would agree if the issue would be WITHIN the game, but this is OUTSIDE of the game mostly, on social channels. Again, cut-off people involved and close the discord server until things are solved. People that are responsible are mostly dangerous on these platforms.

@SeaOfThieves While we’re on the topic, why are we sticking to the outdated supply issues rather than adjusting their entire purchase method? Add a spawn location for items next to cannon barrels, just like tall tale items on the tables so purchases go there rather than fix the merchants.

@squidkiller8781 @Dambitt_ @SeaOfThieves well look, cheaters aren't really a big problem now. There were less of them than the actual number of bugs. They made them "grind" to be able to play Hourglass, so most risks their main profile in the process or completely given up on playing with those. (Yes on PC)

@NessieDoes @SeaOfThieves @j0toro Since someone in a Bruno Files video is asking me to send proof of them knowing “everything”, I will clarify with this: When I said “they knew everything for a long time” I was alluding to the pig incident when I said that, which they did know about and deflected by turning their eyes away from it. The linked image below is a direct reference of proof for that. And by “they”, or “Employees” I mean Shirah and J0toro who are employed Community Managers working for Sea Of Thieves who were doing nothing about this issue, yet still endorsed and promoted Bruno

@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves The emporium seems to not work as well as RARE would like to, given that they are restructuring it into a Fortnite like shop that swaps out cosmetics now and then (which is dumb as heck). But the real issue many won't spend money is because many sets look absolutely out of place

Custom Seas is going to be a lot of fun. It feels like it's been designed more with content creators in mind than the average player but I think most people will still get a good laugh out of it and create some memorable moments. The problem is that fun side content and seasonal content are not really the same thing. If this is supposed to help carry an entire Season alongside the occasional returning limited time event then it just is not enough by itself. Season 21 needs to land with some real weight behind it. Adventure Mode needs meaningful additions. New ships, new islands or even entirely new regions. Give players fresh reasons to explore the world and engage with the game in different ways. What we do not need is another couple of delivery missions wearing a fancy new outfit and pretending to be a major update. We have been sailing that particular route for quite a while now. #SeaOfThieves is at its best when it surprises people and gets the community genuinely excited to jump in and see what is new. It feels like it is time for that again. Anything less will mean terrible engagement.
