scott power (@Spower69) reported@SeaOfThieves The more supplies a ship has, the slower it should go. For example, if a loaded sloop has 200 cannonballs (plus all other supplies) it should sail slower than a sloop that just spawned with basic supplies. This would help prevent so many issues!!! #seaofthieves

But that has nothing to do with the rest of the dev teams. The people building the game don’t control staffing or policy decisions. Expecting those people to stop working because of failures in another department isn’t right, and blaming them for issues they have no authority over makes all of us who have been talking about this look stupid. j0 has been actively deleting evidence during an ongoing investigation (which is illegal). And Shirah has been deleting peoples messages in the discord who speak up about this. That is who the community should be against.

Lynnalia (@LynnaliaTV) reported@fredder6489 @SeaOfThieves Epic does it to "dogfood" their own engine, showing it off and also finding development issues. Considering their scale, that has massive value. Rare has no such incentive, especially when the game already runs so poorly.

Doubloons not coming through, servers lagging like hell on last ship standing (ships flying, long waiting time...) Please, I love the game, fix something🙏

Also, putting "their people" on public prangers could get them into legal issues too, which might be the main reason for them to do it "behind the scenes" in the first place.

Captain Falcore (@Captain_Falcore) reportedCustom Seas is going to be a lot of fun. It feels like it's been designed more with content creators in mind than the average player but I think most people will still get a good laugh out of it and create some memorable moments. The problem is that fun side content and seasonal content are not really the same thing. If this is supposed to help carry an entire Season alongside the occasional returning limited time event then it just is not enough by itself. Season 21 needs to land with some real weight behind it. Adventure Mode needs meaningful additions. New ships, new islands or even entirely new regions. Give players fresh reasons to explore the world and engage with the game in different ways. What we do not need is another couple of delivery missions wearing a fancy new outfit and pretending to be a major update. We have been sailing that particular route for quite a while now. #SeaOfThieves is at its best when it surprises people and gets the community genuinely excited to jump in and see what is new. It feels like it is time for that again. Anything less will mean terrible engagement.

I am allowed to choose whose content I want to support as a result. The problem is that these things have been going on for years at this point. It could have been prevented if Rare stepped in and stopped CM a long time ago. Rare is 100% accountable for who they have representing their game. CM are representatives. I ain't gonna force anyone to step down or take a stand, but if it appears that someone is trying to leverage a charity stream to boost their numbers and appear as a good person, for a charity that doesn't actively help OUR victims, I'm unfollowing them. If they are the least bit fake, I'm unfollowing. That's my choice and no ones gonna miss me around...so the decision is most likely mutual anyways. I absolutely do want to see a bigger push though and nothing is going to change without it. Hell, some streamers haven't mentioned it but they have been streaming other games lately...silently protesting already despite making a statement. Kudos to them.

I will now only play to unlock achievements as they are added. I am done. For that, I am thankful. @SeaOfThieves, forcing me to sit through 40+ minute queue times to get into a game with cheaters, I am just not doing it. Since this will be the first set of cosmetics since launch that have been obtainable to everyone in the player base I wont get, I see no reason to keep trying. The streak/curse has been broken, It was a good run. Now, back to Forza Horizon 6.

But not server issues. If anything, high end PCs with uncapped FPS and/or max graphics cause more server strain. But even that isn't the underlying issue.

First thing they should've done would've been put the people in question on leave until issues are pointed out. But then again, it's not the fault of most of the company. It's the fault of PR and also HR.
