I thought it would cause issues for a game I loved, and it has. (That was a private forum) Yet it was shared all over Twitter and I was attacked brutally.

Baytash (@BishoyMilad) reported@SeaOfThieves I understand that you want to go for the grinding mechanic but the problem lies in there's nothing to grind if there's no alternate way of earning a suitable amount of doubloons after completing the deeds of the weekender, there has to be another way to earn doubloons.

But not server issues. If anything, high end PCs with uncapped FPS and/or max graphics cause more server strain. But even that isn't the underlying issue.

But that has nothing to do with the rest of the dev teams. The people building the game don’t control staffing or policy decisions. Expecting those people to stop working because of failures in another department isn’t right, and blaming them for issues they have no authority over makes all of us who have been talking about this look stupid. j0 has been actively deleting evidence during an ongoing investigation (which is illegal). And Shirah has been deleting peoples messages in the discord who speak up about this. That is who the community should be against.

I made a whole list of things that are not connection issues, but server issues. I'm running on gigabit internet, and still get understandable rubberbanding, but everyone else I play with also sees the same bugs.

But just because another game has a pirate theme, doesnt mean it can replace sot gameplaywise. These other games just arent for me, as they cant replace what i like on sot.

I am allowed to choose whose content I want to support as a result. The problem is that these things have been going on for years at this point. It could have been prevented if Rare stepped in and stopped CM a long time ago. Rare is 100% accountable for who they have representing their game. CM are representatives. I ain't gonna force anyone to step down or take a stand, but if it appears that someone is trying to leverage a charity stream to boost their numbers and appear as a good person, for a charity that doesn't actively help OUR victims, I'm unfollowing them. If they are the least bit fake, I'm unfollowing. That's my choice and no ones gonna miss me around...so the decision is most likely mutual anyways. I absolutely do want to see a bigger push though and nothing is going to change without it. Hell, some streamers haven't mentioned it but they have been streaming other games lately...silently protesting already despite making a statement. Kudos to them.

The fights were suspicious (insane air shots, constant mid-air hits, etc.), but the chat was screaming "cheater" for things that were easily debunked. Ladder speeds were normal on VOD, and "insta-kills" were just players not being full HP. (I also encounter this kind of problem, but I always check a clip out or rethink what happened) It’s easy to lose cool live, but we have to analyze before we accuse. Grateful the streamer kept a level head. The REAL issue? Public sites still exist that track specific players and server ship counts. How is this still live after a months? Cloudflare should be handing over data for a lawsuit at this point. Hoping this reaches the right eyes. @ChappersChapman @S0nicbob
