꩜ Dreamcast Forever (@Nemesis2K) reportedLast ship standing just killed of my drive to "getting everything" in sea of thieves, that includes all the emporium items. I will now only play to unlock achievements as they are added. I am done. For that, I am thankful. @SeaOfThieves, forcing me to sit through 40+ minute queue times to get into a game with cheaters, I am just not doing it. Since this will be the first set of cosmetics since launch that have been obtainable to everyone in the player base I wont get, I see no reason to keep trying. The streak/curse has been broken, It was a good run. Now, back to Forza Horizon 6.

But that has nothing to do with the rest of the dev teams. The people building the game don’t control staffing or policy decisions. Expecting those people to stop working because of failures in another department isn’t right, and blaming them for issues they have no authority over makes all of us who have been talking about this look stupid. j0 has been actively deleting evidence during an ongoing investigation (which is illegal). And Shirah has been deleting peoples messages in the discord who speak up about this. That is who the community should be against.

No one said Sot's conditions are great; in fact, S20 and up should have zero errors. But it doesn't do you credit to behave like this.

They made them "grind" to be able to play Hourglass, so most risks their main profile in the process or completely given up on playing with those. (Yes on PC)

Can't protect their community, can't code their game, can't do anything but dump more things into Emporium. This game used to be so much better.

The cap of 3 voyage completions before it gives gold is lame as well. Also server performance was TERRIBLE (fireworks?)

We have Community Managers behaving unprofessionally, Discord mods acting like they rule the world, and both think they're above the rest of us. United in censoring discussion around individuals who have absolutely ZERO place in this community and pose an actual threat to everyone in it. All while players are constantly being gaslit by those same CMs and mods into believing the community isn’t in complete disarray when it very clearly is. What makes this even worse is that these are the very people whose job is supposed to be upholding the community’s values, the Pirate Code, and Microsoft’s Terms of Service. But it feels like nothing is being enforced at all. Situations like this are 100% avoidable too. If the CM team had genuinely listened to the community and addressed these concerns and allegations early on and did something about it, things never would have reached this point. To be clear, this issue has absolutely nothing to do with the production or creative development side of the game. Please don't tag developers, artists, designers, or other team members into discussions they have no involvement in. Our criticism and calls to action are specifically directed at the community management side of Sea of Thieves. That team needs serious retraining, and a reevaluation of whether certain individuals even possess the requirements needed to continue representing the Sea of Thieves community in their current roles. I'm so tired of this, I just want to play the game man... @SeaOfThieves @RareLtd

AboutSelphy (@AboutSelphy) reportedSome @SeaOfThieves viewers/streamers really need a reality check on what cheating actually looks like. Watched a streamer get sniped 3x in an hour today. The fights were suspicious (insane air shots, constant mid-air hits, etc.), but the chat was screaming "cheater" for things that were easily debunked. Ladder speeds were normal on VOD, and "insta-kills" were just players not being full HP. (I also encounter this kind of problem, but I always check a clip out or rethink what happened) It’s easy to lose cool live, but we have to analyze before we accuse. Grateful the streamer kept a level head. The REAL issue? Public sites still exist that track specific players and server ship counts. How is this still live after a months? Cloudflare should be handing over data for a lawsuit at this point. Hoping this reaches the right eyes. @ChappersChapman @S0nicbob
