Sea of Thieves Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Bushido (@IllBushido305) reported@Ross_McDougall @SeaOfThieves For the customer service expenses I can see why it’s good. In the end I primarily use party chat with my crew but it was always time to say hello to the lobby from time to time.
-
Luke Morris (@Lukathy95) reported@MerrowMan1 @JoeNeate1 @SeaOfThieves They won't IP ban people & that's the main issue... instead of actually putting effort into it they'll just find a cop-out
-
Shuggy_Fantastic (@FantasticShuggy) reported@stevent2002 @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves guarenteed that will be the next stage though. but the problem is they are making these tiny little changes that wont really affect the game either way instead of taking the time and effort to work on and fix the many REAL issues this game has
-
Shuggy_Fantastic (@FantasticShuggy) reported@stevent2002 @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves but if you are going to the extent of complaining to the devs about people being toxic instead of just muting them and forgetting about them then that is your problem not the anyone else's. especially when that feature is there for that very reason
-
PrettyPinkDuck (@PrettyPinkDuck) reported@SlooperSolo @SeaOfThieves I never said it was an xbox issue ONLY... which is clearly how you interpreted it. I said I believe it's just as much of an issue on xbox as sot. I do believe they will just send more messages and party invites on xbox if they can't get to you in game chat.
-
Ross (@Ross_McDougall) reported@IllBushido305 @SeaOfThieves Oh don't get me wrong, I love the PVP in the base game itself. But I can understand this from a process improvement lens. Customer Service is expensive. Man hours, staff, resources. If their spend in this realm can be reduced by 50% generated by 3% of the playerbase, great.
-
Savvy 👄 (@xboxsweets) reported@TomTull1 @STiastin @SeaOfThieves There's them twisted ******* again. Your anger issues might be why you sink. Can't stay calm under no pressure imagine the stress of losing the loot on your boat.
-
StevenT2002 (@stevent2002) reported@FantasticShuggy @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves if they were removing chat from adventure id 100% agree but theyre not. just arena which is almost exclusively toxic. you dont need communication with other crews in arena, and removing chat entirely was the easiest way to solve the toxicity issue
-
Stu (@pharaohcreator) reported@BlownBoats @SeaOfThieves Dude, I don't really care if they learn or not. I agree that over 50% of complaints coming from 3% of players demands some decisive action. These kids can still say whatever they want, Rare just aren't giving them a platform anymore. Zero issue with it.
-
Stu (@pharaohcreator) reported@BlownBoats @SeaOfThieves No, this is a logical response to the stats Joe quoted. This makes the problem go away. Simple.
-
Shuggy_Fantastic (@FantasticShuggy) reported@stevent2002 @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves this is not a real issue, this is an issue that happens with in every game online, thats not an excuse, its just reality and again why every online game has the mute option! REAL issues are BROKEN game mechanics, BROKEN arena matchmaking algorithms, lack of QoL updates
-
Rudik (@rudik109) reported@BoiBitty @Daynemog @SeaOfThieves What‘s your point tho. You can literally mute the whole lobby with 2 clicks. And that shouldn‘t be a problem for you if you argue for voice comms to be removed anyway
-
Merrowman (@MerrowMan1) reported@Lukathy95 @JoeNeate1 @SeaOfThieves removing the players that are causing the problems would be the best. but let's face it, those are potential emporium spenders. the real reason they removed communication over banning. don't wanna remove the potential of them buying more ancient coins.
-
StevenT2002 (@stevent2002) reported@FantasticShuggy @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves And yes what you listed are issues that need to be fixed. but the toxicity was also an issue that needed to be fixed and luckily it was an easy fix that, like i said, was probably as simple as pressing a button.
-
Exilory (@Exilory) reported@Jusey1z @SeaOfThieves The issue is, The game has to support new and old consoles. The original Xbox One is what's holding back server upgrades. Unfortunately its not a possibility whilst still supporting the old generations of Xbox
-
BoredSpaceTurtle (@BoredSpace) reported@RedIsDead @SeaOfThieves Or a setting to have it disabled. So everyone gets to choose their experience. Id rather deal with the occasional zesty person then loose it all together. I hope this is just a temporary fix till they can program in a setting.
-
Savvy 👄 (@xboxsweets) reported@1Chenzo @BenFoulk3s @SeaOfThieves All they have to do is take real issues seriously and all the ones that are just people complaining about mean words, tell them to exercise the mute features in the game. The only reason it is taking over dev time is because they set a precedent that constant reporting will get..
-
CrazyJuan (@SlooperSolo) reported@PrettyPinkDuck @SeaOfThieves What I'm saying is, it's incorrect to call it an Xbox community problem when those invites you're complaining about can just as easily be coming from pc gamers playing Sea of Thieves.
-
Captain Butterfingers (@YerOldCaptain) reported@SeaOfThieves Bit disappointed what you did rare, but i understand why this had to be done but I feel like there was another way to solve this issue
-
Shuggy_Fantastic (@FantasticShuggy) reported@stevent2002 @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves people aren't upset about the change. what they are upset about is time and time again RARE use their time and resources to make these superficial changes to the game instead of using it to actually try and fix its Quality of Life problems
-
miko (@mikotin_) reported@CaptnJesturd @SeaOfThieves Sloop has never been a problem, galleon yes. But that's on the players not playing Arena, not on Rare.
-
z Joca (@zOConnxr) reported@SeaOfThieves Just admit you can't fix hit reg...
-
Gallerine (@CGallerine) reported@XRayLexx @SeaOfThieves Not their issue, complete it faster
-
Blitz Ace (@Bl1tzace) reported@Yamotherhasbeen @SeaOfThieves They are getting greedy for giving out a 100% free battlepass and basically give away items with a huge discount if you decide to get the plunder pass? Every single update since release has been free and it will continue to stay like that. I'm not sure what your issue is really.
-
StevenT2002 (@stevent2002) reported@FantasticShuggy @Nathani13374124 @SeaOfThieves you realise how few people mute other players in online games? easiest fix was to remove chat with other crews altogether. and it hopefully will reduce the amount of teaming crews, and people trying to tdm. i wont be surprised if the amount of arena players increase after this
-
MonoGoesHam (@Mrmonopoly1669) reported@CarryTheLegend @StormySeaDog @SeaOfThieves “iN ArEnA YoU'Re sTuCk wItH ThEsE PeOpLe iN ClOsE QuArTeRs” don’t play arena then problem solved.
-
SimplyOnyx (@SimplyOnyx) reported@SeaOfThieves Ive never had a problem but now how am i supposed to communicate with randoms 😕😕 being toxic is in every game if you cant handle someone talking smack im sorrry but just turn your xbox/pc off and walk into the real world (grow tf up)
-
PrettyPinkDuck (@PrettyPinkDuck) reported@SeaOfThieves Won't they just spam party invites or Xbox messages now? Tbh, I think this is an xbox community issue as much as a sot issue. As someone who's come over from Playstation I've never received so many messages or party invites in my lifetime on Playstation as I have on Xbox. O.o
-
Stu (@pharaohcreator) reported@BlownBoats @SeaOfThieves I don't have a problem with devs taking the "easy way out," and I don't have a problem with people having the option to be an ******* removed from them. Maybe some of these ********* will learn a lesson.
-
Charklyon (@CharklyonYT) reported@SeaOfThieves hey, I've recently discovered your game and I love it but I have a tiny issue which is a big problem and not just for me. You see there are "pirate legends" who are litterally on your servers just to bully people. Please can there be a way.
