@gaygiorno @SeaOfThieves Same problem. It's logical people are not going in Arena anymore. You got to find it on the screen menu. Imagine a new player opening the game. They just don't see it and don't care. They want to dig chest, and after completing things like us, they only start to focus on PVP.

@enfysnest64 @SeaOfThieves I literally tried to play it so many times. I was really waiting for them to fix queues before I finally played it because I love Arena. I don't enjoy or play tall-tales.

@MadTrapper88 @II_JumPeR_I @SeaOfThieves Maybe I just get lucky servers but my personal feelings is that I have to dig deep to find people willing to fight. This past month I’ve been on the gold curse grind and we had an issue once that I can recall.

Still trying to digest the whole “rip arena” thing. It comes off as a lazy cop-out from @RareLtd , tbh. They could either focus on hitreg issues and ensure competitive play or get rid of arena and focus on more PvE stuff. @SeaOfThieves should look after all the playerbase, no?

@lmDinoNuggie @hardway_jones @SeaOfThieves Getting to level 50 in arena honestly wasn't that easy. Server/connection issues causing people to get barred from the game mode, TDM lobbies, constant chest runners, spawncampers o' plenty. Arena 50 is a grind in its finest form, and no one wanted to play it. Until now.

@fashy @SeaOfThieves Lol. Go to your companion app if you're microsoft player and watch some of the stats. It will probably surprise you. All I say is that they don't focus on the right problems. It's been 3 years and there is still no endgame. Come on. I'm not only defending Arena.

@SoT_Support @X0Boom @SeaOfThieves But the post doesn't say anything about arena achievements? I'm mostly worried about steam/xbox achievements because then you can't 100% the game anymore. One possible way to fix this would be to remove the steam/xbox achievements, but leave the commendations. 1/2

If someone has like 2 hours to play and they spend most of it trying to find a lobby where someone isn’t going around being a **** then they’re not gonna enjoy the game. I don’t have it happen to often either but it does happen and it’s not a fun time.

@deathdrawn @II_JumPeR_I @SeaOfThieves I can guarantee you this guys issue isn’t so the pvp instead but the griefer pvp ********, there’s plenty of friendly pirates. The issue is most pvp players in this game are just no life ********. They kill you just for existing even if you have nothing of value.

@SeaOfThieves stop with the STUPID Scooby Doo mystery stories and fix the mercenary mission to where Cargo Runs count towards completion of 250 Merchant missions. And fix the Shrouded Ghost BS, been playing since launch and haven’t seen him once.

@diskittysonfire @SeaOfThieves Its tough but in the end they never wanted Aren to succeed. They ignored any community requests and castigated streamers who wanted to make it their own and TDM. This to me was a resources decision by higher ups to fix their massive loss of players.

Open letter to @RareLtd @SeaOfThieves, Removing arena was a good idea. There was a lack of interest and devolpmental resources. It is a bad idea to remove content without replacing it with anything similar. Arena suffered from broken window theory.

@Threkald @RareLtd @SeaOfThieves There never was enough reason for people to try arena, that was the main problem. Only two cosmetic sets and barely any gold reward on top of no other currency tied to arena. Pretty sure that’s a huge part why people didn’t give it a chance

@II_JumPeR_I @SeaOfThieves This is PvPvE game, you realize if they released a PvE mode it would kill the whole point of the game, right? I haven't had issues doing the story at all. If anything most of my games feel empty unless I get lucky.

@iFuZeShEeTz @SeaOfThieves What do you know? What if removing Arena and freeing up them servers is necessary for them in order to FIX THE GAME? So many knowers on twitter that apparently knows how to run the game better than the actual developers.. Just chill and let them fix their game the way they want.

@deathdrawn @II_JumPeR_I @SeaOfThieves Don’t get me wrong I’m all for a good ship battle but most pvp players just take out your mast and then spawn camp you for no reason. And they’re always using toxic strats that casual players can’t even begin to counter. It’s less of a pvp issue and more of a toxicity issue

@1Chenzo @SeaOfThieves Lotta folks gave up on Arena when they announced they were no longer supporting Arena almost a year ago. That and the formation of the Reaper faction dealt a crucial blow to Arenas numbers. I tried to get 50 but their were a LOT of issues with Arena when it launched.
