Valor Omega, Yonko of the Sea of Thieves (@Valor_Omega_SoT) reported@shenanigoon @RareLtd @SeaOfThieves I truly hope so. It's so disheartening to see everything that's happened. Nevermind the lack of trust from the current game issues, this happening has been a major black spot on this game/studio. I still have a sliver of hope left, but frankly I am not holding my breath.

Captain Falcore (@Captain_Falcore) reportedCustom Seas is going to be a lot of fun. It feels like it's been designed more with content creators in mind than the average player but I think most people will still get a good laugh out of it and create some memorable moments. The problem is that fun side content and seasonal content are not really the same thing. If this is supposed to help carry an entire Season alongside the occasional returning limited time event then it just is not enough by itself. Season 21 needs to land with some real weight behind it. Adventure Mode needs meaningful additions. New ships, new islands or even entirely new regions. Give players fresh reasons to explore the world and engage with the game in different ways. What we do not need is another couple of delivery missions wearing a fancy new outfit and pretending to be a major update. We have been sailing that particular route for quite a while now. #SeaOfThieves is at its best when it surprises people and gets the community genuinely excited to jump in and see what is new. It feels like it is time for that again. Anything less will mean terrible engagement.

Artist of Thieves (@ArtistofThieves) reported@fraudatori @Dambitt_ @SeaOfThieves Sure the game has many problems, im not disagreeing on that regard. But just because another game has a pirate theme, doesnt mean it can replace sot gameplaywise. These other games just arent for me, as they cant replace what i like on sot.

Amy (@molnaramy00) reported@MurpheyLives @SeaOfThieves @Rare_Gamer This is the worst possible statement you could make. "Clear his name"??? It is OVER. There is nothing to clear. The best you could've done is apologizing for your poor judgment, but considering you were part of that disgusting joke a year ago, I guess you regret nothing. It's not a problem that people like that lose the community. The problem is that they did NOT lose it for the first obvious signs. Goodbye.

Tidey (@tidseas) reported@Steep_Mini @SeaOfThieves Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
-
Captain Doubloon (@DoubloonCaptain) reported@Game7DS @SeaOfThieves Applying for partner would be so amazing. It’s unfortunate to see this disconnect block me from it. Hoping this is addressed!
-
AboutSelphy (@AboutSelphy) reportedSome @SeaOfThieves viewers/streamers really need a reality check on what cheating actually looks like. Watched a streamer get sniped 3x in an hour today. The fights were suspicious (insane air shots, constant mid-air hits, etc.), but the chat was screaming "cheater" for things that were easily debunked. Ladder speeds were normal on VOD, and "insta-kills" were just players not being full HP. It’s easy to lose cool live, but we have to analyze before we accuse. Grateful the streamer kept a level head. The REAL issue? Public sites still exist that track specific players and server ship counts. How is this still live after a months? Cloudflare should be handing over data for a lawsuit at this point. Hoping this reaches the right eyes. @ChappersChapman @S0nicbob
-
SickStyle Gaming (@SickstyleG) reported@SeaOfThieves @Minecraft They tried to but cheaters DDoS the server
-
TerMornétor (@TerMornetor) reported@SeaOfThieves do you know that you kick players for idling WHILE ACTIVELY BROWSING AND PURCHASING FROM SHOPS?! Just thought you’d want to fix the dumb bug😒
-
- ̗̀Z ̖́- (@Zairin__) reported@romanticidexx @SeaOfThieves I have gigabit internet, so my internet isn't bad. And I'm not referring to rubberbanding. I'm referring to issues that literally affect ALL 4 PEOPLE ON A GALLEON, that a server hop typically fixes. Unfortunately, buggy servers is an almost 'every session' issue
-
Twitch 8cells (@kbeeznuts) reported@SeaOfThieves @SoT_Support @SoTCommunity i just wanna say to all the people reposting and spreading this thank you so much i can only imagine how many other players recieved false bans and automated support messages i just hope they fix whatever bug this is so it doesnt happen to anyone else

Googs (@myweeweetinybro) reported@AlmtyChcknPoo @SeaOfThieves To be fair some of us kinda blow ***. I care more about numerous sot community moderators blocking me for talking about quality control issues within the game instead of glazing ******** out of it like a fat kid preparing a toaster strudel for himself.
-
Chaveiro (@chaveiro1234) reported@OzurianArt @SeaOfThieves Yet another live service ******* it up, seems like a permanent trend
-
Baytash (@BishoyMilad) reported@SeaOfThieves I understand that you want to go for the grinding mechanic but the problem lies in there's nothing to grind if there's no alternate way of earning a suitable amount of doubloons after completing the deeds of the weekender, there has to be another way to earn doubloons.
-
almtychcknpoo (@AlmtyChcknPoo) reported@myweeweetinybro @SeaOfThieves Also much of my plight with CM was addressing the ban problems, which is still a problem. Blocking us for a negative opinion is bullocks.
-
BLU3SY (@BLU3SY_) reported@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves This is so bad. Almost as bad as when I was attacked for giving feedback in Alpha when the rainbow flag was put in the game. I thought it would cause issues for a game I loved, and it has. (That was a private forum) Yet it was shared all over Twitter and I was attacked brutally.
-
MEMPAVRAI (@mempavrai) reported@SeaOfThieves @girlfromthecave he tried but the server got DDOS'ed
-
Xyllius (@Xyllius) reported@Musks_a_cunt @KingHotdogPig @SeaOfThieves I'm not saying they handle everything correctly right now, but that's just how companies work. Also, putting "their people" on public prangers could get them into legal issues too, which might be the main reason for them to do it "behind the scenes" in the first place.

Your local sigma pirate (@Sigma_SoT) reported@kalyaSot @SeaOfThieves Guess you have reading problems...
-
0riginalpiratematerial (@0riginalpirate1) reportedThe statement didn't mean anything really did it you can make any positive u want but it isn't gonna fix the core problem here games cooked and most would rather have drops than protect kids #fucksotpartner #fucksot #seaofthieves

Copper🔜 SoTFest 2026 Panelist (@Coppertailwolf) reported@coldsot_ @SeaOfThieves I had this bug in insiders- because it was testing I didn’t leave and saw it thro and had people pissed but I was like “literally following through on the testing- the entire purpose of right now” That being said I got the same bug yesterday and scuttled cause I don’t want to win like that XD it’s a very broken bug - you’re untouchable too outside the ring closing in. I imagine a lot of people will do the same in that situation, but unfortunately a lot won’t.
-
The Red Barron of America (@RedBarronUSA) reported@SeaOfThieves Lots of glitches and problems
-
cold (@coldsot_) reported@hasmoq @SeaOfThieves The games not broken at all!
-
CaptainDarkseason (@CDarkseason) reported@SeaOfThieves Disappointing mess of a weekend. Dabloons not tracking or lagging hard. Text not showing on instructions. Rage inducing bilge rat tasks. Having to wait a whole day for a fireworks display to be at a certain outpost. The fishing was chill but pointless as no dabloons
-
Artist of Thieves (@ArtistofThieves) reported@surivSHANKS @ITZH4ZARD @SeaOfThieves The problem is not the orange association box, its the purple confirmed cheater box. No idea how they got that information though.
-
Tonic Taz (@TonicTaz) reported@SeaOfThieves Can you please fix this?
-
Lukitch (@Lukitch59) reported@CaptainQuaa @SeaOfThieves Sadly , Shrouded ghost is gatekeep beside a RNG game mechanic and Spawn timer mechanic. Rarity is not the trouble , but how meg spawn is the main issue ... Arround 1h45 to get a single meg .... and only 0.02 % of chance to get the great one.
-
BehavingBeardly (@BehavingBeardly) reported@knglover @SeaOfThieves This is what they want to fix! Player engagement/random encounters is KING in SoT
-
KingHotdogPig (@KingHotdogPig) reportedI can’t even put into words how disheartening it is to see #SeaOfThieves in the state it’s currently in. We have Community Managers behaving unprofessionally, Discord mods acting like they rule the world, and both think they're above the rest of us. United in censoring discussion around individuals who have absolutely ZERO place in this community and pose an actual threat to everyone in it. All while players are constantly being gaslit by those same CMs and mods into believing the community isn’t in complete disarray when it very clearly is. What makes this even worse is that these are the very people whose job is supposed to be upholding the community’s values, the Pirate Code, and Microsoft’s Terms of Service. But it feels like nothing is being enforced at all. Situations like this are 100% avoidable too. If the CM team had genuinely listened to the community and addressed these concerns and allegations early on and did something about it, things never would have reached this point. To be clear, this issue has absolutely nothing to do with the production or creative development side of the game. Please don't tag developers, artists, designers, or other team members into discussions they have no involvement in. Our criticism and calls to action are specifically directed at the community management side of Sea of Thieves. That team needs serious retraining, and a reevaluation of whether certain individuals even possess the requirements needed to continue representing the Sea of Thieves community in their current roles. I'm so tired of this, I just want to play the game man... @SeaOfThieves @RareLtd

Sean Kelley (@threedaysawsome) reported@BocaG @Christi19879853 @SeaOfThieves It would literally hurt no one to make safer seas the full experience or just having private severs. They say its PvP game but the PvP aspect is whats the problem. Outside of janky hit boxes, there's no natural progress in skill when it comes to PVP. Thr gap is huge.
