@Cloudnine5000 @SeaOfThieves I suspect they didn’t care about the quick digging, but unsinkable sloops weren’t on the map, and so the fix to prevent cancelling the animation had to be applied to _everything_ which killed speed digging.

@Cloudnine5000 @SeaOfThieves Do you know what a glitch is? Its a broken mechanic that isnt supposed to happen. So yeah it was broken. Just like the dropped chest and picking it up glitch that makes you rub faster with the item in your hand.

@Striker6093 @SeaOfThieves in that case, lets fix the sword dashing glitch shall we? thats a mechanic that technically isnt supposed to happen. just because something is a glitch doesnt mean it’s ‘broken’ or even bad.

@GRPFNG @SeaOfThieves They don't have an issue with the advanced sword lunge because they like it, and it also doesn't make you lunge any faster. X canceling on the other hand, kept your ship up way longer and easier than intended, and it unfair, as an entire gally crew can stop a scuttling ship

@SeaOfThieves Surprisingly I saw a few actually good things. But the sheer impact the bad changes like X bucketing will have far out weigh the good ones I saw. X bucketing was not an issue. Now the game just feels even more clunky and blocky…

@Sekkosakk @SeaOfThieves they stopped future development on arena because it’s playerbase was too small for it to be a priority for them~ why was it small? because most had quit due to the mode never receiving proper QoL updates and it being left a broken mess, as it still is today.

@Striker6093 @SeaOfThieves i meant the blocking sword dash as well as the dashing into water sending you flying. those are GLITCHES that the team know about and dont do anything about because they arent broken nor are they bad for the game, exactly the same as the animation cancel for digging.
