@shawinfo switched me from 150 to 300mbps like they were doing me a favor only to start billing me for it with no forewarning. Only to find out their new fiber 300 costs $13 less. Of course they never offered me that. #CustomerService

Well, after 20+ years as a @ShawInfo customer, looks like it may be time for a change. Over 30% more to keep my same package... Time to call @TELUS I think. Anybody switch recently? Pros v cons?

@Shawhelp I really don't care that it's industry standard. It's very substandard. If you want the equipment shipped by the customer, then there should never be a charge against the customer. Ever. It's not the customer's responsibility. It's yours. So act like it.

@ErikWdV @Nevin_Thompson @ShawInfo Because they know that small claims court would laugh them out the door. Believe me, I've found every piece of equipment laying around the house and it went into that box. They can recycle their own crap.

@CalgaryBluesky @ShawInfo Did SHAW get back to you? Usually a customer drop is the responsibility of the owner of the property. When it comes to older neighbourhoods like this, you usually don't have much leg to stand on unless this cable 1/2

@Nevin_Thompson @ErikWdV @ShawInfo Sure... but that shouldn't be our job. If they want the equipment back then they should take it. If they aren't going to take it, then don't charge us, even if they never see it again. It's not my job. Look at Erik's reply... charged for something Bell didn't want. typical BS.

@CDAinsworth @ShawInfo @TELUS Telus is way better than Shaw. It took 4 years for us to get Telus at our house. I will never go back if I don’t have to.
