    Ugh, @ShawInfo only provides yearly student deals during August / September. Right when school is starting or summer term is ending. Sleep through that window and you're stuck paying full price FOR THREE SEMESTERS as a full-time student. Nothing can be more frustrating. Terrible.

    @Shawhelp When your technicians call in sick, you should call people who they have appointments with. Taking time off work to have a Technician not show isnt cool, having to take more time off this week is making your service very expensive. #customerservice

    @IRPlawyer @Shawhelp We had issues and was directed to business support ... it was hit or miss, depending on who we ended up with in the line. This was our experience with Telus also.

    I think it's time to switch from @ShawInfo. Numerous trouble tickets, technicians coming out, only for problems to be resolved for a few days. Now, experiencing massive packet loss for days, huge, regular spikes in latency, and zero confidence in them as a provider.

Check if there is a sim card & remove it. Go to the software end of the router set up. (via your provider) and turn off Bluetooth, Wifi antennas. There may be multiple areas in the back end software where you need to turn off the antennas. I just went thru same.

Our router had a back up sim which I removed. Then no more issues. Also turned off the obvious wifi button and turned all off in the Software. Now all good.

Shaw told me that my router is not being used as a hotspot so it’s really strange that the RF is so high. If they can’t fix this I’ll switch providers.

    @Shawhelp We have been trying to order the ufc ppv for the last 2 hours. It makes it seem easy by telling us to call the automated phone system and enter the code but then just directs us to a live agent who are “busy” left a name to call back and still nothing. Brutal service.

    I had to give up on using @Fallout on an @XboxSupport today because @Shawhelp is wonky as all get out. Speeds go from 185Mbps to 12. Xbox says it looks like errors on their end. Fallout is disconnecting. It means I have to talk to people... with my MOUTH. So very tiring....!

    @FoxxxySilver @paulquaye @Shawhelp Everytime I’ve called for support, it’s been at minimum a 45 minute wait. And when they schedule a tech to visit, it’s been a 10 day wait. Fortunately as long as it’s cold we have services. That’s not acceptable.

    @ShariONeill12 @Shawhelp You have to call cs and get past them to preferred customer service. Then negotiate like hell and go over all your channels & stuff, etc., grind them and tell them you’re going to switch to Comcast or Telus... good luck

    @Shawhelp We lost service on the 14th. We were told the soonest a tech could come would be Feb 1! My husband called back to try to escalate our service request but we are being told that our location is remote. We are a suburb of the capital of BC. 🤔 12 yr customer feeling unappreciated.

    Canada needs more competition for ISPs, day 4 that @ShawInfo has been down at my house, no tech available till Monday afternoon. @TELUS only offers up to 15Mbps in my neighborhood due to old copper and they want the same money as shaw 600mbps. I need to do my school! @Shawhelp

    @adifood1234 @Shawhelp I don't care if you're nice or not, stable solid service is all I ask for and I got that when I was with Telus. And I have a direct line to the Edmonton call centre when there are issues. My 9 years with Telus, I had ONE outage. Nine months with Shaw, I've lost count.
