    It's funny how @BellMts is putting in the new fibre optic cable, they change the box and my shaw internet goes down. @ShawInfo tells me I have to wait 5 days for them to come out to check what is wrong. This is horrible on both ends. Figure your s#/t out.Ever heard of emergency?

    @Shawhelp Yes, it was a local re-allocation. The BlueCurve box underwent an extended startup after the power cut. Again, thanks for you prompt help. So far it seems only the one device, a headless Raspberry Pi, was allocated a new IP address.
