Well, after 20+ years as a @ShawInfo customer, looks like it may be time for a change. Over 30% more to keep my same package... Time to call @TELUS I think. Anybody switch recently? Pros v cons?

@Shawhelp The second that a customer is told that they cannot give Shaw the equipment, that it must be shipped back, the customer service rep should say, "Don't worry, there will never be a charge against you. Returning equipment is based on good faith, but you will never ever be charged."

@CDAinsworth @ShawInfo @TELUS I was a Telus customer from 2017-2020… IT WAS AWESOME in 2020 I moved to a Shaw community. It’s been DISASTROUS, everyday I have multiple drops, inconsistent internet, and extremely poor customer service.

@Shawhelp has been giving me the run around on internet service for over two months. Intermittent disconnections which a technician has told me to my face they know what the problem is and it isn't being fixed. I keep jumping in to online chats just to have a log of outages

@Shawhelp I really don't care that it's industry standard. It's very substandard. If you want the equipment shipped by the customer, then there should never be a charge against the customer. Ever. It's not the customer's responsibility. It's yours. So act like it.

@ShawInfo how about instead kicking the can down the road by funneling legitimately frustrated customers into the bowels of you buggy chats you just fix the problem? There’s no trouble shooting to be done. Your techs already know what the problem is. They’ve told me over and over
