Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DocMed_Knee_val Dr. Kara Maloney (@DocMed_Knee_val) reported

@PrangeMartin @ShawInfo @parkroyal Years of IT memes have lied to us. Turning it off and on again don't magically fix it.

  • adifood1234 Adi lally (@adifood1234) reported

@micaelakimchi @TELUS Yep Shaw is the best I had shitty service with Telus but with @Shawhelp has really great service my service works great with Shaw never goes down.

  • JulieYAli Julie Ali (@JulieYAli) reported

@kootscrutinizer @Shawhelp @TELUS I'm not sure if this counts as "eligible" problems since their contract specifies that they can go up to 300. However, in my opinion this does count as poor service since the expectation is that service will be consistent and reliable during work hours at home. Why else get it?

  • DekksShepherd Dekks "Stream Dog" Shepherd #BlackLivesMatter (@DekksShepherd) reported

@Shawhelp Thank you so much for the absymal service! I love not being able to stream on a service that can't keep a constant upload speed. BTW how much is a new modem? Your incompetent tech support caused me to drop it a few times.... very forcefully.

  • YYCYaThere YYCYaThere (@YYCYaThere) reported

@Funny_Face_Guy @ShawInfo We were the same and shaw said 150 is normal speed when you pay for 300. Absolutely ridiculous.... we upgrade to fibre+gig and still have issues......

  • a_h_reaume A. H. (@a_h_reaume) reported

My Monday treat is my internet and land line phone both being down. Anyone else having @ShawInfo outages in Vancouver?

  • codyscheibs Cody Scheibs (@codyscheibs) reported

@Shawhelp hi my internet seems to be down and I will need it for work Monday. Are there any known outages in Calgary?

  • JulieYAli Julie Ali (@JulieYAli) reported

@kootscrutinizer @Shawhelp @TELUS We checked the contract. The Shaw 300 plan says UP TO 300. So this is a built in strategy. It's difficult to work from home with this sort of poor service provision by Internet providers. We need more competition.

  • WFLBC Scott Graham (@WFLBC) reported

    @stuhunter @Shawhelp Damn it Stu!

  • coffeehustler Martino (@coffeehustler) reported

@WFLBC @Shawhelp Hmm, I’ve had issues in the past with 5GHz interference but should be a lot less than 2.4, do you have the new Shaw BlueCurve gateway/wifi box?
