Hi, @Shawhelp! Can you confirm that phone service needs a separate phone modem and can’t use the existing RJ11 ports on the back of the Internet modem/gateway? Thanks!

@Shawhelp This wasn’t an error. There was a message posted that this was necessary (by Shaw) household maintenance and that our service would be interrupted until it was complete. We lost several minutes and it was incredibly frustrating.

@Shawhelp @Meldes13 BTW, you can tell how far behind your box is by going to the weather network or CNN and seeing how far behind their clock is compared to your phone’s clock. My hardwired box is about 5 seconds. Wireless is probably 30, like you said.
