@Shawhelp Thanks Tom. Update page is still vague. Do you have any real information that can maybe save my job? This long of an outage maybe doesn't deserve another generic response. Seems to be a lot of residents feeling this effect.

Maybe Shaw did something behind the scenes. Or perhaps the tech guy after the tech guy after the tech guy (yes, it took 3) after tweeting to @shawhelp's "refreshing of the tv boxs software" finally did something for a change, but my box didn't lose signal during the game!

@dubelyew_one @ShawInfo They actually posted at 2:30pm today (problem resolved blah blah)… two hours later it all broke again and they put strike through on that post and reopened the outage. It’s legit going on day 5 now of no internet. I’ve lived in 6 Canadian provinces and never had this issue

@Shawhelp I managed to decipher from your offshore Customer Service in Belize, that there is an outage in Okotoks. Is there an eta for services to be restored??

@Shawhelp I'm assuming that because you have 3 different issues going on around Calgary, my issue of intermittent internet (up down up down) is related to the other on going issues.

@Traderhankhill @ShawInfo Seems like you're out in the West like me. To make things worse, climate change isnt making it any better. Landslides and forest fires can cause damages to the fiber as well. We'll definitely be seeing more service interruption in the coming years

We've been with @ShawInfo for 3 years now, and in the last two and a half month it has become the most unreliable internet we have ever had. We had better service - no outages - in remote northern Alberta. I shouldn't need to hotspot my phone to work. #firstworldissues

@Shawhelp Ok. Thanks again Don. While the lack of service is frustrating, the fact you're communicating quickly helps to take the "edge" off and spares Shaw my wrath. All companies should take note that this is the proper way to serve your customers.
