I’ve been sitting in various parking lots all day today because of the @ShawInfo outage and because @TELUS ‘ LTE network doesn’t apparently reach my house. FUN.

@Shawhelp @yogafan26 Can you guys just install a new damn router outside the affected area? Waiting on hydro is not a valid excuse at this point. Give us an ETA so that people know when they can wfh again. I hope bill credits are forthcoming.

@Shawhelp @robynks I dont think anyone, even you, considers 30 hours of outage to be "doing everything humanly possible". Like she said, joke. Get us an ETA.

@Shawhelp @thyzoburt So you’re telling people it’s still a ‘hydro related problem’; does that mean your techs aren’t able to work on it yet? Hydro says weeks or months to return power to fire destroyed site. If it’s still a hydro related problem your time frame makes no sense.

@simon_ook @bchydro I don’t get why a power outage in a relatively small area (149 people affected) means that I don’t have Internet kilometers away from there. Does @Shawhelp not have backup measures for this sort of thing? No other way to restore service?
