@ShawInfo .... gotta say... I’m fairly fed up. My lazy Sunday watching golf and Netflix is down the drain because of your 5 or 6 hour outage (with no end in sight). I’m assuming all your customers will be more than fairly compensated for this garbage.

@Shawhelp what is going on with Shaw Communications in Edmonton? It has been out all day and all they say on their website is the tech are working on it. What is broken? How did it break?

@Shawhelp The last update on the link you shared was put up almost 3 hours ago. If it was almost done by that update 3 hours is a long time for it to still not be up. Please send me the link where i can put in the request to discontinue the service.

@Shawhelp also, there are no other providers in my area other than subpar satellite solutions. You guys sold me 1Gbps down in your contract. I’m paying for that service, you won’t let me cancel unless I buy out my contract (that I JUST resigned for 2 yrs). See what’s wrong here?

@Shawhelp how do we get compensation for today's loss of service? We were without TV, internet and phone. Our security system is also dependent on the phone and was not functional as a result of the outage.

@Shawhelp spent 2 hours on live chat asking to be released from my contract. No dice. Instead I was given $25 credit for my time. Also, my business is exclusively internet based and I’m the sole provider for my family. So paying $120+ per month for 5Mbps down? Not gonna work.

@Shawhelp Is the Edmonton area outage fixed now? My Internet seems to be back; but I don’t want to schedule meetings if it’s still having issues
