@Shawhelp Why is my ‘SHAW’ Blue curve modem not keeping the correct time? When I try to set up a downtime feature and I set it for 10 PM shut off and 4 AM to turn on the stupid thing shuts down at 4 PM and turns on at 10 PM? Can anybody there tell me why and how to fix it?

  • __Triish__ Sunaii (@__Triish__) reported

@Shawhelp hello????? Why is there an hour+ long wait to get in touch with tech support???

  • CookeGeoff Geoff cooke (@CookeGeoff) reported

@allen_jessica @Shawhelp Hi Jessia, we've looked into your issue, and all we can figure is that maybe Joey or Louie are chewing on your internet cables.

  • lynztay Lynzie Taylor (@lynztay) reported

@Shawhelp Yes I called and they needed to send a technician which took 4 days and it’s still happening. He doesn’t know his account number and I can find it right now plus there’s a 2+ hour wait right now for technical support which I’m not waiting because last time they couldn’t help us

  • lisastylegirl lisastylegirl (@lisastylegirl) reported

Hello @Shawhelp -- I am soooo frustrated with your technical people telling me they're not Mac experts! Half your customers use a Mac!!! Very disappointing. #gettingnoemail #gettingnohelp #help!

@ShawInfo When will you have 5G on you network to run these 5G phones???

  • CDN_BRD Canadian Bird. (@CDN_BRD) reported

@Shawhelp what's going on with the outage in Downtown/Exchange Winnipeg? We've been told "problems with a node" no ETA to fix. I have to log into work tomorrow. You must have some idea of when this will be resolved?

  • ageOfIdiocy Brian Oakely (@ageOfIdiocy) reported

Hour and a half to get the Internet going. @shawhelp is actually worse than Teksavvy and Primus combined. They simply refuse to provide a service that doesn't drop 20 -30 times a day. Seriously @Shawhelp How much money do you require to provide me a good connection?

  • QuinnBoser Quinn (@QuinnBoser) reported

@Shaybeerta @JulieRohrYEG @ShawInfo Came here to say exactly this! Best way to get good speed is just run a long Cat6 cable directly from your modem. Wi-Fi will never be as good, even with a booster.

  • AlbertaNewsNow1 Alberta News Now (@AlbertaNewsNow1) reported

@JulieRohrYEG @ShawInfo Try plugging into directly into the shaw modem If that doesn't work, the problem could be your laptop Check with another laptop or phone (I do go between my phone and laptop) Sometimes ur laptop might be downloading or installing something in the background Hope it gets better
