@Shawhelp Well, tech support came by, ignored what I said about community complaints, told me there were loose connections, he took a face plate off the wall and fiddled with a screwdriver. And absolutely nothing has changed. It keeps dropping out at the same time, late afternoon...

  • SQuarton80 Sharon Quarton (@SQuarton80) reported

So the internet company I'm with installed fiber but they still only offer only 512 kbps to 9 mbps, they go from $40 to $115, hoping I can move to a new provider but they say they don't service out here but 2 other houses who were on same list are now with @TELUS or @Shawhelp

Rogers bore the brunt of rage when their network went down. @Shawhelp should feel the same with the multiple day situation in #yyc . No website updates. No ETA for a fix. Anyone else struggling with Shaw internet issues?

  • jpb555 John Bass (He/Him) (@jpb555) reported

Damn, I love that capitalism and the free market allows a handful of oligarchs control the internet service provider market in Canada. It gives me the opportunity to pay @Shawhelp $82/month for wireless internet that routinely sucks even when my computer is 4 feet from the modem
