@CalgaryBluesky @ShawInfo Did SHAW get back to you? Usually a customer drop is the responsibility of the owner of the property. When it comes to older neighbourhoods like this, you usually don't have much leg to stand on unless this cable 1/2

@ShawInfo how about instead kicking the can down the road by funneling legitimately frustrated customers into the bowels of you buggy chats you just fix the problem? There’s no trouble shooting to be done. Your techs already know what the problem is. They’ve told me over and over

@Shawhelp I really don't care that it's industry standard. It's very substandard. If you want the equipment shipped by the customer, then there should never be a charge against the customer. Ever. It's not the customer's responsibility. It's yours. So act like it.

@DevonTarrant @ShawInfo No idea. Telus is Original True Fibre. I'm old Telus Employee, IT/ Biz Unit. Service is what you need 2022 not Tech. Upgrading is Key. Modems Tech assts, Telus delivers. They have coders who change with the Future. . Always: Options, but you choose. No Huawei. Never, ever.

@Shawhelp Hey, Nik @ShawInfo, have you even read any of the complaints on the Shaw website. People are running into the exact problems I have mentioned. Sure, I get a tracking number, but that doesn't guarantee that Shaw gets the equipment... but I'm still on the hook. Glad I left Shaw.

@Nevin_Thompson @ErikWdV @ShawInfo Sure... but that shouldn't be our job. If they want the equipment back then they should take it. If they aren't going to take it, then don't charge us, even if they never see it again. It's not my job. Look at Erik's reply... charged for something Bell didn't want. typical BS.
