Okay clearly the internet isn’t coming back tonight so no make up stream! Allegedly @Shawhelp is doing some “routine maintenance” overnight so fingers crossed this fixes this ongoing and extremely annoying issue and we can have a super long stream tomorrow instead! 🙃

@Shawhelp, want to explain why your routers don't support changing the DNS server? Otherwise, I'm just going to assume it's because you want to track what domain names users are visiting.

1st wait 3 hours, 2nd call waited 2.5 hours, 3rd call waited an hour. When it seems to be improving the rep said she will transfer me to account services but instead doesn’t transfer my call or hang up. I can hear all the chatting in the background. Wow! Great service @ShawInfo

@Shawhelp @stuolmstead Secondly, a call to replace a box shouldn’t take 45 minutes. That’s an easy win for customer service. Oh the thing we rent you broke, we’ll send you a new one. Whatever happened behind the scenes turned a potential “awesome thanks!” into a “FINALLY, click”

Not sure why @Ltribe tells #INDU that @Rogers @ShawInfo deal impacts Indigenous communities in a negative manner. Unserved areas mean unserved by anyone. Deal offers $1B to provide service. Undoing the deal doesn't lead to service extensions. It would deny $1B in rural expansion

@shawhelp Why do I pay $123.20 a month for your internet service and your fancy Blue Curve modem when the internet drops during high traffic times?

@Shawhelp Hard to tell you what my favourite video game is when ping to all the game servers is still over 100 for a majority of those in Edmonton due to the routing. So gaming for all of us sucks right now. Not to mention the lag.
