@MrPremji @Shawhelp @MrPremji Hi there, we understand your frustration. Due to extensive damage from a fire, crews are still waiting to access some of our damaged equipment. We're hoping to receive an update between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. today. We appreciate your patience at this time.

  • ObiOnyemaobi Sabastien Obi Onyemaobi (@ObiOnyemaobi) reported

@Shawhelp This does not explain how a multi-billion dollar corporation, with customers province-wide, does not have a plan in place for network redundancy in the event of a catastrophe. Redundancy is a must in the ISP world, especially to avoid these types of issues.

  • sc2019de porygon (@sc2019de) reported

One year into a global pandemic, @ShawInfo has demonstrated themselves to be an unreliable and frankly unpleasant service provider. I am not impressed.

  • robbie_stew Rob Stewart (@robbie_stew) reported

@Shawhelp I talked to them, was on hold for an hour but they said they were working on the problems from the fire to get internet working in Langley

@MrHackersHouse @Shawhelp Totally unacceptable for a technology company to have such poor infrastructure, planning and apparently no redundancy. Blaming BC Hydro for the outage...30 hours of no connectivity! @shaw

  • _J_o_e_n_ Joen (@_J_o_e_n_) reported

@Shawhelp customers welcome to the ********. Expect longer wait times and **** customer service since @RogersHelps bought Shaw. #fuckrogers

  • bertseyebrows Derrick S (@bertseyebrows) reported

@Shawhelp when can we expect service to be restored in the Willoughby Langley area? Trying to stay patient given the circumstances but 0 services for this long is making things difficult.
