Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • meghopee Meg (@meghopee) reported

I love being without wifi because a neighbour got new service installed and the soonest appointment to get a technician in is A WEEK when I work FROM HOME during A PANDEMIC. @ShawInfo this is completely unacceptable

  • YoshiOfTheSeas Bruce (@YoshiOfTheSeas) reported

@ShawHelp how do I change the Login PIN for additional users on Shaw Mobile. It doesn’t give me an edit button.

  • TvCooken CookenTV (@TvCooken) reported

@Shawhelp Hard to tell you what my favourite video game is when ping to all the game servers is still over 100 for a majority of those in Edmonton due to the routing. So gaming for all of us sucks right now. Not to mention the lag.

  • pauloafernandes Paulo Fernandes (@pauloafernandes) reported

@Shawhelp @stuolmstead Secondly, a call to replace a box shouldn’t take 45 minutes. That’s an easy win for customer service. Oh the thing we rent you broke, we’ll send you a new one. Whatever happened behind the scenes turned a potential “awesome thanks!” into a “FINALLY, click”

@Shawhelp why is #Shawmobile not working at @VGHFdn

  • ruthsk8r Ruth Skater Ginsburg (@ruthsk8r) reported

Hi @Shawhelp - today I called to cancel my satellite account. In the same breath of confirming the date of cancellation, I asked how to get my satellite dish removed. The rep said the dish is mine now. I'm sorry... why would I want to keep a satellite dish I can't use?

  • BenGallmeyer Ben (@BenGallmeyer) reported

@Shawhelp I have an issue with my internet. I sent a DM already. Thanks.

  • CheckOutHickman Sean Hickman (@CheckOutHickman) reported

@Shawhelp Any updates regarding the fixes to the video game server latency issues that have been occurring in the West? I read on the Shaw Communications subreddit that it was a server rack that needed to be replaced. Could we expect it to be fixed soon?

  • CheckOutHickman Sean Hickman (@CheckOutHickman) reported

@Shawhelp Yeah, it seems like your lower-tier support doesn't get that information. When I talked to a tech support guy on the Shaw App chat he said there were no issues, then after sending him ping tests for various game servers he talked to his tier 2 support and they informed him of it.

  • StaticTypedRice Richie Zhang (@StaticTypedRice) reported

@Shawhelp, want to explain why your routers don't support changing the DNS server? Otherwise, I'm just going to assume it's because you want to track what domain names users are visiting.
